With the ridiculous amount of law enforcement agencies In the U.S and the minimal Requirements to justify arming them it would not surprise me if they were dhl or dpd4 points -

As Enid said, I've used a timed Dynatex BFG to good effect though a window. Its great hearing the panic on the other side before the bang 😁 Of course there's the other definition of BFG...2 points

Lol, we're like 7 year olds when it comes to kit, you can almost hear us in a child like voice trying to justify it to the other half (or even ourselves) "but I really really neeeeed it" & Then you skirmish with it for the first time, only to realise you wish you hadn't wasted your money on this pos 🤣2 points

Yes it was a dick move on the other buyers part. He knew his low offer had been rejected and was trying to stop someone else buying it. Probably hoping the seller would eventually accept his crap offer. I'd be tempted to buy it just to piss him off2 points -
Have You Hpa'd in the Past and Left it Behind?
GeorgePlaysAirsoft reacted to alxndrhll for a topic
Hi folks, Just a general canvas on peoples thoughts who have run HPA as their primary means of powering their RIFs and subsequently decided it wasn't for them. I've been running HPA as my primary means of powering my RIFs for a fair while now (I honestly can't remember exactly how long), I frequently go back and forth on whether it's something I can be bothered with. Since around October-ish I've been going round in circles as to what is the right decision for me and I just can't land on an answer. The biggest element to consider with HPA is the cost of getting into it, that's largely seen as the most painful bit. I have several tanks, a scuba tank, a few regulators, a hand pump with appropriate filters, lines so a fair ol' amount of investment before we even get to the RIFs that lot powers. Over the years I've found I'm much less performance orientated and have started to become much more interested in the GBBR side of life (I've tried many of them before, most recently an MWS which I very much regret parting with). I'm aware the easy answer here is 'why not both', which is something I've pondered on a lot... ultimately that falls with both systems being pretty finanicial investment heavy and with the lay of the land where it is at present I already feel I'm perhaps a little over invested in the hobby. So the question, has anyone out there felt like they were in a similar situation? Did you sell up and move to a different platform? Did you regret it massively? I'm aware it'll all be personal preference at the end of the day, but hopefully a bit of thinking aloud might give me some clarity. Cheers, Alex P.s. Yes, I'm sure having not played for month isn't helping... but it seems like as good a time as any to take stock.1 point -
So we are in lockdown, no one can play airsoft and the closest you can get is room clearing the landing while you wife is out of the house. I have just acquired an ‘as new’ SA RRK E07. Bought the obligatory set of 3 high cap M4 mags, two new batteries for it, single point sling etc. I have never played with a sidearm (although have carried one many times in a professional capacity). I want one. But do I NEED one? Does it dramatically enhance your enjoyment/how steely you feel/how effective you are? And if we decide that I do need one (given the audience I strongly suspect the answer will be ‘carry another weapon!’) which one? G17 RIF or a Brownie seems the logical choice given that is what I have had issued to me. Other than that I can’t claim to know much about them other than I know that whilst I think a chrome snub nosed Colt is very pretty it isn’t very practical for someone who regularly gets through 1500 rounds in a morning without trying. Thoughts?1 point

Airsoft Apathy (First World Problem Content)
Cr0-Magnon reacted to alxndrhll for a topic
Definitely a pretty unique situation (though I can't relate to the whole 'needing partners permission thing'), I dare say that the fact you have permission takes half the fun out of it. But with that aside, perhaps you've reached the chosen land that so few of us ever reach, you're simply happy with what you have and don't feel like you need anything else. Which leads to the question of am I actually just content with what I have, or have I grown bored of that side of the hobby... escalating to is the hobby still for me. Lockdown and the inability to play has my brain doing an extremely irritating dance of trying to figure out what it is I actually want out of my RIFs, if you're truly just at a point where you're content I envy you to no end!1 point -

As far as I'm aware if you run CO2 on a Tippmann you vent anything remaining in the capsule when you remove a mag, less than ideal. Better off sticking to TM MWS or GHK, maybe WE at a stretch but from what I hear the internals are cheese and need replacing sooner rather than later.1 point

Pts Radian Model 1 Gbbr- What's it Like?
Jasongtr reacted to Stratton Oakmont for a topic
Depends, if you want a cross training platform then yes. If you want to Use it as a viable skirmish Rif as well then not really tm mws may be expensive but for many reasons (You can find on this site) I would not recommend any other GBBR to use for the purpose you describe1 point -
Better pic here, looks like Police from the guy on the right but can't work out the sleeve emblem. Update, downloaded the pic and zoomed in and the sleeve emblem looks to be Secret Service Uniformed Division. Which would certainly make sense!1 point

I was thinking the same, probably secret service, doubt any of them have got days off at the mo1 point

Is that the black guy who runs around the house in full tactical gear & is very excited, like he's on speed lol 😳1 point

A bit of rehearsal and maybe a script might help. Throw in some decent lighting and sound. Khan Seb was a great favourite of mine, and although he is a little irritating, Airsoft Mike isn't bad either.1 point

Yep, agree with that. If you’re a mini rifle shooter I believe josh hicks has taken delivery of an mws for training at home1 point -
Avoid. It's a KWA/KSC system which is absolutely meh for ARs. Get a TM MWS or a GHK AR variant.1 point

Yeah, saw this in an article on the Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/gallery/2021/jan/20/washington-on-edge-before-biden-inauguration-in-pictures#img-4 Not sure who they are, could be Capitol Police but so many people have been drafted in from other forces! Might even be DHS or CBP.1 point

Well the Trump era lead to the replacement of the M9. Will the Biden era lead to a replacement of the M4? As regards the knife, not bad looking if a bit simunition like. Would happily use one as a letter opener.1 point

Everything goes straight up the attic (my man cave) and to keep her out and protect my ‘investment’ from prying eyes i’ve got an old picture frame that I periodically load up with spiderwebs and lay it across the hatchway when I come down from it , she hasn’t been up there basically since I started playing 20yrs ago ! 😈🤣🤣🤣1 point

Hi @Ukmfmacca! 👋 Welcome to the forum, get stuck in and you will find answer on here, with like minded people! 🤪 Highly recommend you rent first, test a few sites and see which one is for you? 🤔 Get your BDU, setup first, if you know you will continue, with some boots and gloves, my opinion! 🤔 Also might find a few players on here, that go to the sites, check out their gear, gives you an idea, might even see your future RIF, also look on YouTube! 🤔 Thanks @Shamal, for the shoutout! 🔫😎👍 Hope this help? 🔫😎👍 💷GAMBLE💷1 point

Ukmfmacca reacted to Cr0-Magnon for a topic
Hi and welcome! Have you been airsofting yet? It's always recommended to rent for a few times first. If you're desperate to invest, then good eye protection and boots are normally the priority. In terms of choosing a RIF, it's all down to personal preference when you hold them and see how you get on with the ergonomics of it etc. My long-time favourite is the ASG Scorpion 3A1. It's light but solid, compact yet excellent range and accuracy out of the box.1 point -
Welcome! Don't worry about age. As long as you have fun it doesn't matter how you play. There's LOADS of information for new players here so just read as much as you can and all will become clear We're all looking forward to getting out there again1 point

Bit of a cunt it is all a bit of a shame it is a clickbait video bit of sponsorship perhaps... https://www.switairsoft.com/product-page/kwa-m11a1 links to his channel/games at times he plays well has to put up with others not calling hits etc... (in longer clip - but marshal says he would of hosed them, yeah but there are degrees of hosing) but then he creates a much shorter clip to trigger the haters but still gets the clicks on YT he could have made a better video to demonstrate the gun but chose to make one that triggers people - thus increasing his clicks/views etc... at times we have all done dick things - hand on heart but to make video of it for clicks n stuff - well that is quite sad tbh1 point -
An Interesting Take From a 'Real Steel' Perspective
Crazy_Crystal reacted to Druid799 for a topic
Over the years I’ve come across quite a few squaddies and Plod that came to the sport with a VERY negative preconception of what to expect who by the end of the day (some even by end of the 1st game!) had done a complete about face with there attitude to it and if it could be useful as part of there training regimens . As an RM said to me during a lunch break who’d come for his baby brother’s birthday “I REALLY didn’t want to come today but have to say I’ve never had a target shoot back at me before ! I’m f**king buzzing !” 🤣 I think Airsoft is just like any thing else that could enhance your training , you just need to find the right way to use it .1 point -
