  1. So many toys ordered. Lockdown v2 is destroying my credit rating.

  2. I get a lot of PMs asking about some of my experiences with my somewhat esoteric rifles. The person who Pmed me bemoaned the fact that the could barely find anything about the rifle in his message. It's such a shame however in response, you type out a large number of words that get's fairly in-depth, gets read and then... nothing for over 10 days. Despite the user being online, reading the PM more then once (The time stamp updates every time it is read) and posting since... nothing. A thanks really does go a long way. Why bother doing it when someone else comes calling otherwise? I'll get off my nelly high horsie and back into my pink fluffy house now.

  5. I put some heat shrink on the spigot to extend it, then test fitted in my ear to make sure it wasn't too long. I then rolled a slug of hot polymorph, wound it around the spigot, avoiding the hole on the end and seated the whole thing in my ear. Once hardened, remove it and trim the excess heat shrink off. I also tried proguard which is a 2 pack rubber for making earplugs. It moulded well, but didn't stick very well to the body of the Racal. You can wrap it around the body a bit to make it mechanically hold on. Not sticking could be a plus if you think you want to remove it. I think the foam plugs and proguard give a better noise seal, but the polymorph is cheaper to repeat so long as you pull it off before it fully hardens.

  6. Combat South is my local site and one i have visited the most over the years. Great site, great bunch of people run it and very much missed by everyone in the South. I tend to judge every site now by Combat South, as the standard they need to live up to. Russ is working hard to find a new site. CSW will be back ( sorta )

  7. +1 On Lightfighter Sheffield. Brilliant site and quite spooky in places. The old medical centre in the dark reminded me of playing Doom 3.
