  2. We arrived nice and early, gameplay beats paintball and I loved being liberal with ammo. But honestly, I have a query: is everyone playing always a massive wierdo? Seriously, me and my brother felt quite uncomfortable with everyone who had "done it for 6 weeks" and had some stupid upgraded DMR, worst of all the player with an A&K PKM swanning around at the back with his two lackeys IN GAME, doing absolutely nothing. Hit taking was so so questionable from even regulars, and it was quite uncomfortable seeing people who aren't good and can't play well with £700 quid VSR 10s and £800 Top Tech M4s. Is this normal, or did I have bad luck?

  3. then don't use your real name, fabricate everything and there's nothing anyone can track you down with.

  4. One I've been working on for a while, early 'nam Colt CAR-15 Carbine mod 610, started out as a JG M733, since fitted with a G&P early M16 receiver (no mag fence or bolt forward assist), cut down barrel (10") and bayonnet lug removed. Needs a flat delta ring and early Nam pistol grip to finish when I get hold of them.

    Torch or Spotter?

Have a look for Night Evolution models, they're surefire clones at sensible prices.

  6. Try another site next time maybe? And learn to be stealthy. Once you start hitting the guys with expensive guns you'll feel better about it, just don't let idiots spoil it. As for non hit takers, if you are 100% sure you're hitting them then have a quiet word with the marshalls, don't get into a slanging match.

  9. The sandpit is in bradford and is a working quarry so is different ever time I've been. It's run by cerberus as is the works (halifax) which, when I went last month for the first time I found very good.

Depends on the AEG manufacturer. I have a mil-spec MOE stock on a G&G gun here, very close fit indeed. The MOE and B5 Bravo I've used on my G&P were insanely tight fitting, could barely be adjusted. RS AR stocks fit 'just right' on all my TM recoil guns and KWAs. Very loose on my 2 Avalon/VFCs though and I tried a variety of stock types on them so it's definitely the airsoft buffer tubes that change, not the stock internal dimensions. As per usual with airsoft, tolerances vary wildly. Long as you buy mil-spec AR stocks rather than comm spec, it'll generally be just fine and if it's loose a layer or two of leccy tape will take the slop out.

  11. Every time we go to Orlando we go shopping. Every trip to zales in the Orlando mall has cost me at least $400. Be grateful for small mercies...

  12. Bear in mind that the models used in video games aren't always 100% accurate.

My SMP is done. No more changes now. New grips added, new Prowin Hop added, new silencer which does work.

    AK picture thread! :)

Theoretically, an AK47 mag can fit in an AK74, but of course would not chamber the round, whereas an AK74 mag won't fit into an AK47 because the 74 magazine has a little bit up on the top of it specifically to prevent it seating in an AK47, because an AK74 round would chamber into an AK47, so they added that feature to prevent it from being done by accident. But that's in the world of the real weapons. In Stalker, it's probably just a visual error by a 3D modelling artist who thinks all AKs are cross compatible in the same way that a lot of people think that Krinkov is some kind of official designation as opposed to the truth of it being a nickname of dubious origins supposedly deriving from the Afghan war if you believe the story about it. Of course with airsoft guns it makes no difference because the calibre is always 6mm (except on those weird and rare 8mm calibre airsoft guns). So I'm guessing it probably would fit, but having said that, of all the airsoft AKs I've got, I know that some of them have magazines which, whilst they do fit into other AKs, don't feed the BBs too well. I should imagine most airsoft AKs of the same brand would play ball, but I wouldn't put money on it working across different manufacturers, and of course it's worth noting that some airsoft guns are branded under one name, but actually made by other companies, so the brand itself is no guarantee of commonality. I'd try it with someone else's gun at a skirmish rather than spending money on it and finding out that it doesn't the hard way. That said, mags are fairly easy to modify and with AKs, they all tend to lock in via the same mechanism, so providing the feed hole lines up correctly, I bet you could get most of them to work, and even if it didn't, you could indulge in a little surgery and make it so.
