Popular Post novioman
For me, it’s people who message with questions, do you still have, what’s your best price etc etc. You answer, then hear nothing, sometimes it shows as not even read. I don’t mind if I don’t sell the item, but can’t stand rudeness. Why ask if you can’t even be bothered to read the answer. 🤬 Super64, Galvatron, Tackle and 3 others

I'll take it a step further, the people who join & 3 minutes later put up a sales thread without having the sense to read the rules, & then wonder why their adverts for airguns/knives/trainers disappear 😤. Oh yeah, & the scammers, thieving cnuts 🤬 novioman and Galvatron
strykerles
Extreme lowballers - item up at a reasonable price say £120 offers £75 Saying an item is basically new when it's clearly been thrown round a site from the pics People that get can't take a joke on macks 😂 John_W, Galvatron, Tackle and 1 other
novioman
I just sold a custom pistol, under 50% of what I paid. Absolutely mint, hardly more than test fired. But what did I get, can you throw in this, why didn’t you include that. Then he wonders why I got the hump. Some people. 🤬 Tackle

Another one that gets me, someone who's clearly desperate for a rif, so use that "ask a question" option on the thread, "Is this still available ?, what's your best price ?", but they don't ask just one member, no they'll ask about 5 members, usually with no one gun looking like the others, so clearly don't have a scooby about what they really want. 🤦♂️

Totally ignoring what advice is given. That reminds me of someone recently wanting a response to fill his echo chamber with the notion that an AEP was a good choice. I don't think he was impressed with the consensus that AEPs are hugely underwhelming in performance to a point they're not even worth being a sidearm nor do I think he liked being told AEPs in fact do have running costs, contrary to the narrative he'd sold himself. GiantKiwi
People trying to buy RIF's asking a whole bunch of erronious questions and requesting videos of it functioning, then when push comes to shove and they're asked for proof of defence "Oh, I don't have one"... strykerles, Galvatron, Tackle and 1 other

Galvatron
People who get defensive when asked if a gun they're selling is a resprayed two-tone when the paint looks too glossy or like satin compared to the actual black parts of the gun or you can see red, green or blue streaks but they don't disclose it in the listing. Just about any deceitful behaviour to try and inflate the value of something above what it's worth and not having the balls to come clean, especially when you're preying on the ignorance of others who don't think to spot these things. ButcherBill
Dunno if I have any gripes but I've probably been guilty of some/most of the above. I am guilty of lowballing but always happy to haggle with the seller, if I must pick something I don't like it'll probably be not sending feedback after I've sent mine. Colin Allen
11 hours ago, Brick212 said: Suspect I know why this thread was created - In the future it would be better to list everything for one price rather than priced as the buyer wants it. Neglected that a certain seller removed the original mag release he suggested was included in order to sell in on as a separate listing for £2 then quarrelled over a forgotten 60p in an additional transaction, probably what is being referred to. From the listing seems all his RRP prices were nearly 1/3 to double elsewhere. If the buyer could show the logs they would. Despite the buyer paying beyond top price I believe they have sent a large gratuity payment in order to quell the rage of denizens in the net forest, and maybe as a lesson for the future... What? WTF is that word salad? Edited June 1 by Colin Allen novioman

It was started because certain members, (not you) ask me questions about adverts, I give detailed answers and they don’t reply or in some cases don’t even read my answer. If they can’t be bothered to even read them why ask in the first place. I don’t know where you looking to quote my parts were 1/3 to double the price. The retailer you linked in to me is not a U.K. retailer and their prices stated do not include postage and possible custom charges. I got my parts from BZ Tactical and Firesupport in the main. Have a look at the parts on their websites and you will see what they cost. Edited June 1 by novioman

DBGXXI
Vague description of the item and the seller is expecting people not to ask any questions. If people are asking questions about your advert then then you probably didn't invest enough effort. Not to mention the ''upgraded this'' and the ''upgraded that'' but there are no details about the ''upgrade'' part such as brand or model. My personal favourite is the ''selling for a mate'' First of all, what prevents your mate to create an account and submit an advert. Secondly, if you do sell on behalf of someone then you'll be responsible, can't blame the ''mate'' if something turns out to be not as described and you'll have to provide after sales support. And then last but not least: The fully dressed RIF with optics, lasers, lights on the pictures but they are ''only for show''. Why the hell would you put on a full range accessories if they are not included in the sale? Nobody cares about how sexy your WADSN torch and FMA PEQ15 is 😂 Edited June 1 by DBGXXI Tackle and Galvatron

Lyndication
Sold a rif once and the guy disassembled it, broke the gearbox, then claimed it arrived broken. Silly bugger had already sent a message confirming it worked on arrival though, but that was still three weeks in PayPal dispute. I think that's the only one that really ground my gears. Other than that there's some funny buggers out there. Shout out to Job Lot posters, always a Perfect Starter Kit. A pile of minging gear, no splits though you're getting that one pistol you might want bundled in with a load of Amazon special, child size, full Multicam Black kit. The worst photos of the worst piles of junk going. Collection only btw. Rogerborg, Lozart, Galvatron and 1 other 3
