Colin Allen Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Nothing special, but this is my eldest son's old SRC MP5 that he gave me when he gave up airsoft several years ago. It had a "Navy" style lower and selector, which I really disliked. This morning, I decided to install a Perun Hybrid; having done that, I started wondering if I could fettle one of my spare Classic Army lowers to fit. I could; after some minor surgery, everything aligns well and it functions perfectly. A well spent morning. Tackle, Rogerborg, ButcherBill and 1 other 4
Hatchet Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Not exactly *made* as such, but succeeded in Safarilanding my MK23 holster so I can swap between loadouts with the same belt rig a bit easier. This was more difficult than it should be due to lacking the right screws and retaining nuts, so I had to improvise with some 8/32 UNC t-nuts and clip the prongs off them. It's a replica mount, but it fits into the real Safariland well enough.
MistakenMexican Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I have quite a few glocks. A lot of them branded with agent, salient and strike industries. So quite please with the end result, for example this Big A stand.
Moderators Popular Post Jez_Armstrong Posted March 3 Moderators Popular Post Posted March 3 Not so much made but modified, the G&G SR16 E2 (KS-1) comes with a QD hole in rail and as I didn't want to spend £130 on an AA rail, I filled with the milliput, sanded and painted it ButcherBill, DanBow, Rogerborg and 2 others 4 1

Cocha Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Since I bought a PTS Masada I had the A&K laying around... Was thinking about selling it but I think I'm better off this way Lonex flash magazines painted accordingly, cheap Amazon red dot to be used on this one and on the M14. Painted using Fosco spray paints, Warhammer transferables for markings, serial number, etc., miniature pigments for weathering. Silencer and grips wrapped in my girlfriend's AliExpress boob tape ? mightyjebus Posted March 22 Posted March 22 you have a speed loader for your magazines, I have a speed loader for each magazine. We are not the same. Little box holds adapters for MWS, PTW, P90 and a cable to go from deans to Tamiya depending on which battery you have. Enid_Puceflange, Rogerborg and ButcherBill 1 2

Austeyr Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I guess it counts as made ? Bought an S&T Mosin on a whim because the price was great from @Pierre It was missing the front sight/muzzle as S&T for some silly reason have it split and held on by a grub screw?! Purchased a PPS mosin barrel (And extras) from @airsoftshooter123 with a hope and dream of fitting the barrel to the S&T After eight hours of grinding, sanding, testing and a lot of “oh ffs” The barrel has been transplanted to the S&T and now I have a “historically accurate” one piece barrel ? Found an original Izhevsk front sight too (Which matches the “manufacturer” of the S&T) to finish it off! Eyeing up the bolt action dude upgrade kit & the BAD PU bolt if/when he releases it and a PU scope now. Wrap it in some burlap and go all “Enemy at the gates” ? Popular Post Anonymoose Posted April 12 Popular Post Posted April 12 After discovering my VFC SCAR-Hs have an NPAS from the factory (?) i made an adjuster tool to make it easier to tweak through the ejection port rather than stripping it down every time. Anonymoose Posted April 13 Posted April 13 1 minute ago, Barny said: Ahh, have i jumped the proverbial gun here and assumed it'll fit any VFC...? I don't know to be honest. I know the VFC SCAR-Hs have an NPAS from the factory, while my two VFC MP5s don't. Not sure which others have them. Making another tool to fit other brands/models is no issue, but they do use different size hex keys and different nozzle internal diameters. (This is made to be a close fit into the nozzle for alignment of the hex key and to prevent damage.)
Anonymoose Posted April 19 Posted April 19 "Made" a locking pin to lock my SCAR-H MK20 to semi-only for DMR use. Very basic; drilled and tapped the selector cam and used a machined bolt to hit that rear pin in semi so the selector can't turn any further. Gonna take it to RIFT tomorrow and hopefully get some kills in with it. ButcherBill, TheFull9, Rogerborg and 1 other 3 1
Supporters TheFull9 Posted April 20 Supporters Posted April 20 Not me, the wizard @Anonymoose again. He worked some of his spellcraft yesterday, started by trimming down the side locating tabs on 2 different AR AEG outer barrels that weren't quite compatible with the 2 upper receivers in question (noq sit in beautifully), then also fixed some of china's mistakes and drilled some new holes in a QD attachment lever for a PTS Unity Aimpoint micro mount. The big job was converting this real Geissele bolt catch to fit on to an AEG lower (and obviously not protrude inside so there's room for the gearbox). There were MANY steps to this, far more than I've shown, and he also made a custom little piece to sit inside and secure the lever, since a real one would have its' internal segment and a bolt carrier holding it in place. johnnyj, ButcherBill, Enid_Puceflange and 1 other 4
