  1. There's a 150KW charger location a couple of miles away at the Esso on Hinkley road. I think it's like 3.6 miles from the range with an Asda, Tesco, McDonalds, And a huge Home Bargains within walking distance (the Home Bargains used to be a toysrus and it's insane). Charger is located at CV2 2QN by the Esso garage. It's a good location to jump on the A46 to bypass Coventry traffic as well. There's also a HFT/FT circuit at the Greyhound. With the shots running into the woods and about 80 in woods targets setup. Some of the ones deeper on the course are a good 65+ yards. Just be aware you can not cross the lines and go onto the target side. The owner will talk you through anything you need to know, including the whistles and what they mean. If in doubt just ask, and if you want a target setting up deep then they will probably help... They also have a drawer full of paper targets and some holders. I will warn you tho, You'll be wanting an air rifle after a couple of visits!

Hate to be the party pooper, but the elephant in the room needs to be addressed, in case no one is aware, the genuine lenses on these aren't legally rated for pretty much anything, use them at your own risk or get some rated lenses fitted. @Canine, not looking to screw up your sales thread mate but it needed to be mentioned.

Custom built HPA Daytona M60 for sale. This was a labour of love completed over lockdown and I have held on to this for a few years, but I dont have time to play anymore and when I do I prefer some of my other guns due to bad back. Cost of all parts to build this is around £1,200.00 with the shipping from Canada for the kit, the M60 body which are getting rarer and the easier mag Includes: 1. A&K M60 E4 body 2. Installed and run in Daytona kit 3. 3d printed box flash mag 4. 2 x bottles of getsome lube 5. 2 x extra daytona hopup rubbers 6. Daytona spares (o-ring kit, crush rings, spare hopup nub, etc) 7. Emerson Gear M249/M60 gun bag Got annoyed with the battery powered mag so completed the brainexploder 3d printed flash mag conversion and now has a cord to pull on bottom of mag. Works flawlessly with no jams during 5000 round break in and no electrics required at all to run anything. Daytona kit install with no issue, run in over 5000 rounds, and seems to run flawlessly. Blowback and noise are unmatched apart from the real thing. If your looking to be stared at open mouthed and have player running for cover even when dry firing, this may be the gun for you! Please note this is a 7-8kg gun unloaded with the kit installed (they dont call her the pig for nothing). Ranged but never fielded, as I just dont have time.

  5. I kinda want to do either the 'M4A1' or AK-47 from MW2 2009 and while the AR is pretty easy to closely replicate the AK seems a lot harder. I found a picture of a really well done effort: In the game (remaster, but it's accurate to the fuzzy model in the original): I cannot find a 47 with a side rail though, which makes sense in terms of replicating real rifles but given the random non-existent variants that do get made I was initially hopeful. I don't want to do an M as a base. I did learn basic riveting long long ago, but I'm yet to see a home-applied AK side mount on an airsoft gun so I'm sceptical of that tbh. This is probably more a thought/discussion exercise than anything tbh, but if anyone does have any thoughts I'd be interested to hear them.
  6. Hello all. Apologies in advance for being brash enough to consider this "Latest News" worthy 😉 I am unsure that it was a sensible decision but beyond all logic I have been voted in as the new UKAPU South East/London Rep. I have been a member of UKAPU since around the time of the Pandemic, they helped me with issues importing a RIF and I bought into a gold tier membership soon after and I have been committee "adjacent" for a little while. Most of you on the forum probably know me by now! I had taken a back seat in terms of the forum recently due to the personal circumstances (Divorce, selling all but 6 rifles etc!) But I am now back for at least a little while until I leave the UK in hopefully a year or so's time. I tend to play in London and the Kent area more these days since moving away from Dagenham and to London bridge. I am here to represent the players in the South East, to give advice about South East sites, listen to your issues, criticisms, complaints and suggestions for the future. I have only just been confirmed into the post and I haven't had the official email address setup so far, but I will update this forum post with those details when I have them. For now if you need anything you can just PM me here. Cheers!
  7. I'm certainly no expert but my thoughts on what I would check... BB's dribbling out the barrel indicates a failed hop rubber. Feeding problem could be damaged nozzle, tappet plate or magazine issue (fitment or feed lips etc) As for upgrades. There are different opinions on efficiency of tight bore so maybe just look for anything the correct length. 350fps is basic performance so probably don't need to change anything in the gearbox for that. So the main thing to look for is a new hop rubber. I think 75 degree is recommended for 350fps but you'll have to do some research on the favourite flavour right now 😏
  8. So if you have a TM MWS and you need to drop the FPS (maybe after a longer barrel or other changes that can tip it over the limit) try this one crazy trick!

Take out the plastic rocket valve and LIGHTLY rough up the flat back part, cover in thin layer of superglue and dip the end in baking powder. Dust off and repeat.

Clean up the edges to it moves freely in the nozzle and re-assemble.

Mine went from 290+ fps down to 240fps (0.32g) in 18DegC on ASG beige gas! Less than a mm of extra length makes all the difference! (Ooh err Matron!)

YMMV, messing about with internals like this might break things, get an adult to help, I am not liable for anything, ever.

  9. The netting doesn't show; it's like when you put a killflash on a scope. And yes, I don't want to paint it since the MWS is really nicely done and cerakoted, so I don't want to ruin anything there!
  10. I’m an inveterate tinkerer so can’t leave anything standard for long.
  11. Perun AB++ and XT 22TPA motor ordered for the G36. Also picked up another XT motor, ZCI hop chamber and a Maple Leaf bucking + Omega nub combo to go in my Double Eagle whilst I'm at it. Doesn't really need anything doing to it, but the parts were cheap.
  12. I know of one shop that has exactly 1 left if you want the link? Cant comment on the VFC, anything v3 is meant to be cracking…importing is easy enough.
  13. First of sorry for all the questions.... I'm looking for an airsoft shop in Somerset (not to buy from) but to go inside and talk to people, see they're stock etc. Anyone know a shop in Somerset like that? Or is there a helpful website that can find them? I've been looking for an hour and haven't found anything...
  14. As I said, I’ve had it for years and used it extensively. It was my first airsoft gun so I’d like to get it running again. I get that they’re cheap, but I’d rather spend the cost of a new one on making this one the best it can be. Maybe I’m just too sentimental for it? 🤷‍♂️😂 I am however going to use it as a chance to learn about the internals. So far I’ve got my eye on a Perun AB++, or the Hybrid V3 (Other alternatives appreciated) & changing the piston to a 15 full metal tooth. Currently I’ve: Changed the hop rubber to a G&G Green rubber Replaced the inner barrel with a slightly longer (by 15mm) 6.03mm guarder (iirc) that I had laying about Replaced the selector plate with the SHS one Is there anything else worth changing out in a very old, well used gearbox?
  15. Nothing on tv, nothing I want to play on the computer. Cant do anything physical I think I might be the first person to actually die of boredom.

  16. ... if only I had room in my garage (it's piled up with unused bikes, rugs, boxes of stuff, DIY materials blah blah. Can barely see from one end to the other. It's only a single garage anyway, not big enough! As for the ARU, well I certainly don't want to be the guy on the front page of the local paper spread-eagled on the ground with guns pointing at me (or worse, not pointed at me as I'm already riddled with bullets!), but I'd love to hear how careful / not bothered others here are about their garden plinking. I could go around the nearest 5 neighbours and tell them what I'm up to, and sort it that way, except my darling wife had an argument with our neighbours (the ones who own the conifer that's the effective secondary backstop if anything went over the fence). So I have to let that particular sleeping dog lie :[ The neighbours on each side are also religious so aren't super-likely to be enamoured with anything gun-related, but they've always been friendly and haven't complained even if they've worked out what I'm doing. I just wouldn't want to give them the chance to say 'nope' and shut me down altogether. It would certainly make my life easier if I could just wander around in my garden with a gnu or two, but I'm partly overlooked by 4 of those 5 neighbouring houses. So I'm a tad stymied.

  18. I have the Vortex x3 mini-magnifier... Pricey, but clarity of the glass is great and the flip mechanism is strong & sturdy and will take a lot of knocks. + goes without saying...anything goes wrong with it, can't beat their no quibble warrantly. (Had my Vortex x1 prism optic sorted within 5 days when I knackered the battery cap) Have had the flip sight last few years, been used on multiple guns and scratched and scored...but glass is still perfect. But if you don't want to go real steel...then HOLY WARRIOR products seem to be the most superior repo stuff out there.

I'm after a polymer/wood AK stock (with battery compartment) JG, think LCT will work to. Must have space for a battery and fit to a RIF with one upper tang and a hollow square bit for cabling. RPK stocks with the correct fitment very welcome. If you've got anything that might work please send a message with a picture of the item(s). Thanks.

  20. Hi there. I'm sure you can help with these simple questions. Apologies if they have been asked, and answered, before. With my 416 due to arrive from Hong Kong, I would like to read your recommendations for it : - BB weight, what would you use to clock below 350 fps, noting that I intend to play in semi for obvious mag capacity reasons - What gas would you use at which temp ? - I'm planning to use a single point sling, will the stock and attachment take the weight rubbing ? - Any simple hacks to increase reliability out of the box, without buying anything, e.g. what needs tightening, loctite, sand papering, silicon lubing etc. And generally any advice for a new owner.

Anything other than a white storm model will be considered. looking for something second hand, prefer it to be stock and must have original box. please pm me with anything for sale - cash waiting for the right offer to be completely transparent I am trying to source this for a regular buyer who has no access to social media.

  22. Of course they'll sell. I say that in my comment. I'm just disappointed that they aren't doing anything different, but as they manufacture exclusively for the Japanese market, external trends aren't a consideration and I understand that. Their 'unusual guns'as you put it are generally based on anime or video games, reflecting the interests of their customer base. Doesn't stop me from being disappointed that all of their new guns are fundamentally dull, and I say that as someone who runs TM M4-based rifles and a Glock.
  23. Both my SOTAC and Holy Warrior XPS3 replicas have adjustable zero. It takes quite a lot of winding (they don't click either) of the adjustment knobs/screws to get it where I need it but it does work. I'd guess the 'cheap' replicas have the adjustment features there but possibly don't work? I adjust my zero indoors where there's no wind or anything effecting the BB flight but as many others have said; airsoft isn't an exact science.
  24. Who actually thinks theres anything wrong with two tone airsoft guns?
