Yeah, but you'd think they wouldnt get two very different numbers mixed up and then not even check it.

People always get the law wrong regarding prices displayed. They only have to honour it if they deliberately put a misleading price. If it's an honest mistake they don't.

  1. The good players(and marshals) are definitely the ones that make Airsoft as enjoyable as it is. The second game I played someone lent me his M4 for the day plus a stack of mags. The game after that another player lent me some mags and lent out some other kit to people who had forgotten bits and pieces. As much as I get pissed of by players blatantly not taking hits I definitely think the amount of players that just want to have a laugh and help people out outweigh them massively.
  2. Been toying with the idea of buying a TM M870 for a while but thought it was too long. Just seen the breacher version, I know what i'm buying next.

thing that annoys me about the 870 is the varied prices PA sell it for £200 everywhere else ive seen is £280+ how do they get this 80-100 difference?

  3. I played this game where i'm dead waiting out of bounds with players on the other team. They start messing about shooting, keeping in mind we are at best 5 metres out of the game area. Then one guy proceeds to fire 10-15 shots at a wall that's crossing into the game area. 5-10 of the shots ricochet and hit my team mate along the side of his head and face where his mask ends(he's less than 10 metres away). As soon as I realise what's going on I say "mate you are shooting someone in the head round the corner" the guy just grunts and goes "oh well" It's not that bad in the scheme of things but I was fuming and I wasn't even the one getting shot. The kid that shot him was lucky the player who took the hits was cool, as I'm sure a lot of players would have flipped out in that scenario.
  4. The only time I would say it's not worth it is when it sounds terrible. Not sure if it was faulty but someone at my local had a gun with some sort of recoil mech that sounded like he was banging a bag of spanners against a tree when he fired. Any gun that sounds like that would have to kick harder than a GBB for me to remotely consider it. The noise was considerably louder than the average AEG turning over. All the TM Recoil Shocks i've seen sound decent, not sure about other brands.
  5. I like to run a pistol only up to about 20 metres after that I feel more comfortable with my rifle. My personal preference is to unclip my rifle and leave it to relax on a wall while I run in. If I was at a CQB site where all the engagements were going to be less than 20 metres I'd happily run with just a pistol, but I'd want to go from 3 to 5 mags. Not that I would use them most likely, I just like to have a bit more ammo than I generally use to hand.
  6. I'm going this Sunday with a mate if there are still places.
  7. Lights out at 10, will be interested to see if many people on our street do it too.

We'll be doing it too. Not sure how much my mum will last as she hates the dark! Haha

  8. How much do your open days cost? I get the feeling I missed it somewhere really obvious on your website.
  9. BBs can't get through without the foam there, I removed it from my V12s and I cannot force a BB through the gap. For the sake of argument if a BB was to shatter hitting the vents and the fragments were to continue at enough speed to damage your eyes they would tear the foam.
  10. Surely if you pop it in the airing cupboard overnight it would be ok? My main concern is the ejection port on my HK416, not sure where water can go whilst it is open. This thread has made me think I should have some tape to cover the buttplate and ejection port in case it rains.
  11. I'm using this http://www.military1st.co.uk/mcr5-008-condor-recon-chest-rig-multicam.html currently. Works pretty well, has pouches for 6 primary and 6 secondary mags plus an additional side pouch that would hold an extra mag on either side.
  12. Thing is, if it is in fact your ammo causing the problem then that does technically mean you broke the gun.
  13. To be honest I don't think that applies to just one "other forum", which is the reason why I don't bother with any of them. Cliques control the content and the admins are hilariously overzealous with no logic behind their decisions, it might be enforcing the rules one minute and the next it's cool because a regular they like posted something that breaks said rules. Edit: to be clear I don't think all other forums operate this way but the big 2 or 3 rival forums certainly do. Funny how people guess the Z1 forum and are told it isn't that one, guess someone else feels that way too
  14. Using the condor recon chest rig currently. Pretty happy with it but I don't really need to be able to carry 6 primary and 6 secondary mags http://www.military1st.co.uk/mcr5-001-condor-recon-chest-rig-olive-drab.html There's also enough space to get at least a couple more mags in the slits near the shoulder straps if you wanted to. Think I will switch to a belt setup only when I can afford it.
  15. The thing is dressing in a certain manner in real life can imply that you come from that background, especially with some people lying about it when questioned. Not to mention in real life you don't have an avatar, you are yourself wearing a costume that may or may not have a grain of truth behind it. Conversely you would never think someone works for a PMC because they got the hero skin in DayZ. I think aside from a number of other reasons being kitted out in a certain manner in the flesh is a lot more tangible than pressing 1 or 2 on the team select screen in Day of Defeat.
  16. You can always press the windows key and r (when logged in) then type in "msconfig" without quotes, select the boot tab and tick safe boot, then click ok and reboot.
  17. Definitely worth the money, love my Hk416.
  18. Looking at going to Xsite Outpost site this sunday. Anyone been before?

  19. You are looking for the two folders that have your username in the profile image path "file" on the right hand side. It would be along the lines of C:\users\airsoft_mr_b It sounds like you are getting the old temporary profile issue where it lets you login but all your files are missing, like in this thread http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/20497-denied-access-to-windows-profilehelp/ Just a guess though as your screenshot is tiny but it looks like that registry key again. If so I would follow the instructions I wrote/stole in there. Edit: Basically what Devastator said.
  20. I still come away from days suprised by how much of a difference pushing hard on the other team makes. Regardless of gear and experience. It's definitely something younger players are good at, I see them whizzing in and out of cover and I just wish I could move that fast.
  21. I lent a kid my HK416 yesterday, he was a fast little bugger so no one could hit him and he was loving the recoil.
  22. Pretty much what Lozart said. In my experience the younger players who go on to have their own kit seem to have a lot of respect for the hobby and playing honestly.
  23. Quote of the day: LiPos strip teeth off pistons, damage gears and cause general damage to your gun.

because tin foil conducts the electricity of the greater spotted Lipo much better than that of other battery species. Again, the 'tin foil hat' is a myth introduced by the illuminati so that they can more accurately read the minds of those wearing the hat. Rather than block signals, it works as an antenna.

My tin foil hat is spiffing and I have NO intention of taking it off and neither you lot or those guys in the white coats who brings me my meals and my daily smarties will change my mind!
