    I'd definitely be interested in meeting up, although I'm not putting a hessian sack over my gun for the privilege Perhaps like you say we could hire out a site(for instance xsite will do it for 16 or more people with a £160 deposit), although I think if we didn't do that it would still be worth trying to get enough people to potentially cover a whole team on what would be a quiet day for some sites(say 20 people) Personally I couldn't really afford to travel more than a couple of hours, so would be looking at Peterborough area north and Southampton to the south. I'd imagine travel distance will be the sticking point for a lot of people, I'm probably not the only one that couldn't do a longer distance without arranging some sort of car share.

    Preferably concise videos, where you can see what's going on. If their camera is getting rinsed by sunlight they shouldn't put it up on youtube, likewise if it is so dark you double check your monitor hasn't gone into standby. I'm personally not that fussy but it should be interesting and not staged. I have just remembered a group called Green Mountain Rangers. Trying to find the video as they are a right bunch of mongs. They get banned from a site for: rappelling down a lift shaft, jumping from roof to roof and kicking in a door and when they talk about it you would think it is just standard every day airsoft stuff.     Are there any quiet speedloaders? I've got a Marui M4 style one but it makes hi caps sound quiet!

      I personally find bags a massive pain in the cock to use. Bottles are far easier because they hold their shape when you tilt one end to pour the contents out.

       

      I do as Liam does, hold the speed loaders full to the point where they don't rattle, and wait until I've used enough ammo to empty them in one fell swoop when I go for a mag reload.

      That sounds like the best bet so I will give it a try. I don't really need a 400 odd round speedloader for 120 round mags. My idea with bags was to sort of make them like those fabric water canteens, however in general someone showed me a trick where you use a small aerosol lid as a scoop and squeeze it to pour. Works surprisingly well, not so practical mid game though.

       

      I basically need to figure out how many mid caps I get through in a game. I really don't like high caps,...

      my brother keeps a highcap for emergency, fullpacked so it wont rattle. I think the reason some would like the mag shaped ones is that they go into pouches.

      Game starts then, but briefing is at 7 if I remmeber correctly. We usually try to get there for 6 to allow for setting up and chrono.

      That works with the slim line harness too, basically using the Molle loops to attach to the frag belt.

      Ok cheers for all the info mate. I will have to weigh up the options, I could do with a belt sooner rather than later as I'm not happy with the fit of my DPM chest rig.

Paid £5 for delivery and got everything next day, courier sent me a text last night confirming delivery today and gave me an hour timeslot in a second text just after 8am. Also received emails with the same details respectively. I would definitely buy from them again if they had whatever I was looking for.

    Gun bag that actually fits in my car, need to sell the old one when I can be arsed. IMI holster for my P226, when it arrived I remembered I favoured my left hand for pistols and it's right handed. Ah well, locks really nicely and half the cost of the Serpa. Magpul MS3 sling - I'm massively impressed by the build quality, but then it was around 50 quid.

    I don't really see the point if he's going to do that. He may as well have random people firing airsoft guns and cut to people getting shot in John Woo films.

    Ed's videos are pretty decent, but for the most part a lot of the airsoft videos are just shit. I watch the devildog and levelcap ones, and whilst they aren't mindblowing at least you have an idea what is going on which is more than can be said for the majority of uploaders. I really don't understand what makes certain people popular though: take first person shooter videos for instance - a lot of them are terrible(as in skill) and some of them will instantly scream cheat when they get killed, yet they become popular enough to make a living off it....

    Yeah I thought I could just get one that clamps on but I was told they don't look that great so I am going for one that replaces whatever that plate is called at the end of the buffer tube.

    I'm surprised Justbbguns and SAS are still going but i'm not sure if it is just a case of people not reporting them to the proper authourities(i.e. trading standards and UKARA, although SAS aren't a UKARA member) when they are wronged by them.

    Damn it's easy to underestimate the cost of an AEG once you factor in mags, battery/charger and a sling.

      ah nice i was going to buy the 416 but i went out of stock as i went to buy it and so i went for the m4 but still a recoil, you will love it btw and a piece of advice get a battery adapter the tm socom batterys suck and hardly work in the cold

      Just have a quick look is it the baton adapter you use? I've had a look and they only seem available via Eagle6 who are sold out, it looks like you can rewire it but that seems a bit scary(although it allows for larger batteries to be used). I was going for the TM version over the VFC so I could just leave it alone and not get horribly over my head messing about with stuff lol.

      Yeah, I'm not sure if I am better off waiting till January for Redwolf to get more in and get my local to import it for me or find another HK supplier.

      TBH mate; if you order from HK today, you might still be waiting in January cus the shipping usually takes several weeks. Add on top of that Christmas post delays etc.

      Yeah that is a good point, I originally figured going through a retailer would eliminate all the hassle from my end. My only other option would be to get a VFC HK 417 or M27 instead of the 416 but it isn't exactly what I want.... Hard to be patient when I don't own an AEG currently lol.

    TM P226, only GBB pistol i've owned before was a KSC G18c which vented gas like it was a feature. The difference in build quality is insane. Waiting for the shop to get back to me on ordering my VFC HK416, so excited

    DPM chest webbing, then once it had arrived in mint condition spotted the same ebay shop selling ESS Advancer V12s as used but in good condition with all 3 lense sets for £20 so thought it was worth a punt.
