Seem to get quite a few cases of hitting someone, then they hit you and they don't take the hit because they "hit you first" I personally take the hit even if they get hit with their gun lowered, then aim and shoot me. I do normally say do you want to take your hit as well, makes some people realise whilst I guess others like cheating... Whilst I can see why some people think going down the overkill route is a good idea it certainly isn't going to improve gameplay, much like screaming take your hits at the top of your lungs won't.

Is there much difference in quality between ASG and TM shotgun shells?

Most sites won't let you. There are possibly some exceptions but I haven't heard of them.

I have one of those and the light blinks maybe once a second whilst charging and stays on continuously when charged. In both cases the light is red.

Should be fine, generally you want to go for the highest mAh battery that will fit in your gun as this will give you the most shots out of a charge. There are a couple of commonly recommended chargers - One is the Turnigy Accucel 6, which I believe is a clone of another charger which I can't remember the name of. Personally I use 7.4 1350mAh batteries, I find one lasts me a full day but I like to swap them out at lunch just to be on the safe side. Plus as I have 3 of them it seems silly to run the risk of damaging a battery by running it down too much.

Well I fail to see how destiny stands out and Ubisoft have a history of producing massively misleading "gameplay" trailers so....

Destiny looks like a bland version of Borderlands to me and the division and Rainbow Six will most likely be massive lies with a game somewhere in there as they are made by Ubisoft.

Personally I'd go for a TM GBB pistol over an AEP. Admittedly I don't know a lot about AEPs but the ones I have read about seem to require faffing about with to get them up to scratch.

Anyone know why my WAS MOLLE harness has 6 loops to attach a belt when their belts only come with 4 rings to attach to? Pictures show them just tucked into free MOLLE sections which seems pointless to me.

I like AEGs but I am factoring in not being a particularly good shot with rarely seeing a game where at least the odd player doesn't need some encouragement to take hits.

A load of warrior assault systems stuff: PLB Belt and harness, 2 double 5.56 pouches, 2 quick mag pouches and a dump pouch all in OD. I wanted to get a TM M870 breacher this month but don't think I can afford it

This is just the sort of thing that makes me roll my eyes. When people ask "what's that airsoft thing you do?" I normally reply along the lines of we dress up as soldiers and run around in the woods all day. Not really fussed what some anonymous people on a forum think, it just seems a bit sad that they carry on like that.

Yeah it basically only comes with an XT60 lead, I have one of those chargers and haven't got round to buying a deans lead for it. I have no idea if you could rewire the connector to deans. In theory yes but I don't know if it would cause any issues so I will leave that one for someone who knows more than me. If you just use the balance lead it won't charge and you get an error when you try to start charging.

Yes but I think you will need to purchase a tamiya charging cable.

I've been borrowing a mates drop leg holster for the last 3 or 4 weeks and it's made me realise I get on really well with them. It's only a cheap fabric one, the downside is reholstering is really fiddly so plan to switch to a fobus drop leg when I get paid.

I think a lot of the Airsoft rules(in terms of so called realism) outside of ammo limits and enforcing specific weapons being used for their typical real role are silly. It could become a massive list but off the top of my head are bits of plywood providing cover against both bullets and frag grenades in close proximity. Nope that's fine but let's enforce rules about drop on BBs because real bullets wouldn't drop off after ~50 metres... Just look at computer games where games like Arma know where to draw the line between what feels authentic and what becomes annoying and arbitrary. Like Two_Zero said it is up to the site what rules they run with. Just like it is up to us to not play at sites that enforce rules we don't agree with
