  1. You might find this interesting
  2. Is this UKAC or something? Yes, they're legit. As mentioned above, you need a £140 minimum order now and they will tell you that as a UK buyer it is entirely at your own risk. You can put your UKARA number in the order comments and ask them to put it on the address label or just on the outside but this has always been their policy. It's absolutely a UPS problem. My brother in law is waiting on £20K worth of hardware for work sent via UPS from the Netherlands. UPS say they've got around a 2-3 month delay, they also say they've delivered it because one of the three boxes turned up.
  3. Verily, he doth sell them hisself https://thefull9.ecwid.com/ Although that Chad one is a test one...

  5. Couple of bits from BritTac - stealth admin pouch and a chest rig comfort pad (for the back of my SS style rig) Also just placed an order with Mael Eoin Tactical for some chest rig MOLLE extensions!
  6. Caveat Emptor absolutely applies, it's a second hand sale so the buyer HAS to be aware that there may be some flaws not immediately visible in the advert. Is it a dick move to not say it's got a gopping paintjob? Probably, yes. Does it interfere with the function of the gun? No. As such it's fit for purpose and the paintjob only affects the potential sale value (which is probably why it didn't get mentioned but it may just be that the seller didn't think it was so bad as to be an issue). I do agree though that repainted two tones should be declared as such, but in this case as I said earlier, you can clearly see it's been repainted at some point from the advert pictures.
  7. It entirely depends on what it says on the CN22 customs declaration. Your order was a lot larger so I would expect higher charges but you've not said what it was or what was on the CN22.
  8. Honestly, it took me all of 30 secs looking at the pics to work out it had been repainted (no fire select/safety lever markings for a kick off). In an ideal world I agree that it should have been mentioned in the listing that this was previously a two tone, caveat emptor still applies. You mean £662 plus VAT, shipping and duty.
  9. I'm definitely Meal Team 6!
  10. I have the TMC clone and for the money it's really good. It ONLY comes in small/medium type size so it's a bit small for me. The licenced Z-shot ones come in two sizes but cost more like £300. Still cheap compared to real ones!
  11. For some reason I thought you were the guy that was looking at a £200 order! Yeah, that looks too low.
  12. No, the "government charges" are your VAT and Duty. Those brokerage charges are steep, but it's one of the things UPS are known for. The fact that they've shown an exchange rate calculation at the bottom of the invoice suggests that the PLZ to GBP rate has shafted you a bit too. What did you buy? That will affect the duty rate.
  13. This. All day long. @lukeB asked for an idea of cost, I made an educated guess based on what he has and how much they usually go for second hand. Is it expensive for airsoft? Absolutely. Is it expensive for a genuine second hand AVS? No, no it isn't. Honestly if it's in decent enough condition and someone really wanted it you could probably get more for it.
  14. There's a free estimator here https://www.shippo.co.uk/faqs/what-duties-and-taxes-will-i-have-to-pay/ it doesn't include the carriers brokerage fees though so their estimate comes out at around £52 in duty and VAT.
  15. What was in the order? The duty will be different according to what they've put on the CN22 form! If it's a gun then you're looking at 3.5% duty, plus 20% VAT (which is calculated on the item cost plus the shipping plus the duty), plus the UPS fee which will usually be around the £10-£13 mark. Probably looking at about £280 ish
  16. https://ferroconcepts.com/collections/hardware/products/m-lok-qd-sling-mount The Pharaoh's head is the Ferro logo.
  17. You pay TG the cost plus the shipping. You then pay the rest to the carrier.
  18. The price on TG is ex-vat. You buy it, they ship it, you pay the carrier the VAT, duty and handling fee. Basically it used to be Cost price + Polish VAT + Shipping. Now it's Cost price + shipping + UK Import Duty + UK VAT + fees.
  19. Here's a thought - do we know if the UK sellers that TWG supply might have asked them to not apply for UK VAT thereby placing the £140 minimum order into effect? That way they keep the UK sales and TWG get the wholesale without the hassle of applying for UK VAT registration (along with the fees it incurs).
  20. Just had an email... Just spotted the posts above mine. As you were.
  21. Nice but...they're Ferro Concepts.
  22. Lovely shade of yellow, that!
