  1. Playable area is outlined on their FB post https://www.facebook.com/Ai500-148728415210679/
  2. Check with your airline, some are fine with it.
  3. I always found that if it was loose enough to not hit the release it was flopping about like a dick in a shirtsleeve! Hence I moved to hard retention/kydex holsters. If you're running the holster loose it would be worth getting a lanyard for the pistol.
  4. Be aware that those universal holsters are bad for tweaking the mag release and losing your mags.
  5. Core are plastic not metal, but yes, comparable to a combat machine if not slightly better being a bit newer.
  6. I'm surprised they didn't mark it as a commercial sample or somesuch. Mind you, the insurance will bump up the fees too.
  7. Super l33t old skool coolness courtesy of @heroshark!
  8. If that's the case, I doubt you'd need the extra retention you'd (allegedly) get from a polymer mag holder like that. Esstac kydex pouches are great but you could do worse than look at the standard open top WAS pouches. They have a grippy liner material and I've certainly never lost a mag out of one.
  9. Aluminium isn't great as a conductor and isn't going to stand up to much mechanical abuse in that application. Better to get a ring crimp like @Hudson suggested.
  10. +1 on the OPS covers. They're bloody good for the money!
  11. Yeah, he isn't everyone's cup of tea! I met him in person at Red Alert and have been playing with him (oo-er) for a while. He's alright, just liked to wind people up on the internet (and sometimes took it a bit far). He's actually selling off most of his airsoft gear if you now anyone in the market for a tricked up SRS with a load of bits and bobs.
  12. Odd. It's an ASG M11 with 2 mags and a suppressor. From old site favourite @Duff in fact!
  13. +1 for AltaFlex pads. Before I moved to trousers with built in pads these were my go-to and they never ended up around my ankles. Top tip - try crossing the straps over in an X behind your knee.
  14. Yeah, at this point he's just kicking over pieces and shitting on the chessboard.
  15. Nice! Be interesting to see if it's all it's cracked up to be!
  16. If they declare a zero value on the CN22 it should be fine. Won't stop UPS losing it for all eternity of course but there you go!
  17. *moot point. You need to learn shit before you can forget it.
  18. So yeah. That's why we all started trying to help. But hey, you go for it. Just remember to get those push ups in, M4s and LA85s weigh more than your super specialised SMGs. You said that you assumed you'd need a longer barrelled gun to play outdoors, we explained why you didn't need to. All you've done since then is tell us that we're all wrong and that you didn't actually say that. Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.
  19. Wow...OK. "Specialised platform" is marketing spin. It may be better in a CQB environment purely because it's short but that again isn't entirely true. At it's heart it's exactly the same as every other aeg out there, a motor spins gears that reciprocates a piston to provide motive energy to a BB that is given backspin by the hop as it travels down the barrel. As far as range or accuracy goes those are the parts that matter. Not the length of your handguard or the ergonomics of the mag release. As for age...you know what yes, I am older than you but that is totally irrelevant until it comes to running up hills (my knees are fucked but we've covered that elsewhere). The fact that I've been airsofting for a LOT longer than you IS relevant though because that gives me more real world experience than you have. If we stick to our beliefs then more often than not it's because we're right not because we're "set in stone".
