Have a look through the UK Tactical sale sections. Pretty sure you'd be able to save a bit by buying a combo set of WAS pouches.

I don't think you'll find that part listed specifically as a spare for that gun. I have the Socom Gear one that is based off the WE M9 so I could try and measure mine if you like?

Don't let TM's low muzzle velocity put you off. Their hop units are made of magic by wizards.

First off, hi and welcome to the forums. There's a thread for introductions...so feel free to go introduce yourself! Secondly, from the rest of your stripdown pics you appear to have a KWA PTP M9 not WE M9. That may have a slight bearing on what you need to get. Best bet would be to have a look on ebay for a pack of springs. Look for length and diameter. Just because it's an airsoft pistol doesn't make the spring terribly special. Should cost pence. Or try an engineering suppliers or maybe an RC car spares place, they use all sorts of fiddly little springs.

What kind of jobs do you guys have to support airsoft? :)
Lozart replied to a topic in General Discussion
Depends on your end game as you say. While there's plenty of jobs that the practical experience offered by an apprenticeship will benefit, there's also plenty that have a much shorter progression curve if you have a degree. Speaking as an ex apprentice I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as an option but as someone who is now in Account Management a degree would have got me higher, quicker. -
I play CQB with exactly that gun. It's highly amusing!

Guess that depends on your definition of "affordable" :-)

Anything from £150 really. Have a look at this http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/17294-ians-guide-to-noobism-on-a-tight-budget/

The dust cover on airsoft M4s is supposed to pop open

They've been around for a while now. They have a high end range (BO Manufacture) and the new "value" range if you will call BO Dynamics. The LT595 has full Lonex internals and is getting some good reviews. I see no reason NOT to buy one!

Granted G&G made what appears to have been a poor decision by building their OEM FET down to a price but then I do wonder how many people would have been happy to swallow the extra cost had they gone with a higher spec? Ultimately their design achieves what it sets out to do - maximise trigger response with the existing gearbox design by taking advantage of the lower power LiPo batteries. Had they OEM'd a Gate PICO design they'd have been golden of course but that's just the way it goes.

Welcome! There's a few girls that play (have a look on Youtube for Femme Fatale Airsoft) but it is a pretty male dominated hobby (shame). I've not played at Worthing so I can't speak from experience but I believe it's a pretty decent place. Just beware that if you start playing and enjoy it there's a whole new world of stuff to spend all your money on just waiting for you!

Help!!! - High speed/ fast trigger response setup
Lozart replied to CaptainDumbass's topic in Electric Guns
Ah right, yes I see what you're referring to now. I think he's using a lower ratio gear set and was concerned that lightening the whole power train would result in the RoF going TOO high and causing pre-engagement. You're correct in what you're saying that if you're trying to produce an all out high speed build then heavy parts will increase wear slightly but it depends on how you get there. If it's a low powered spring with a high speed motor then yes I'd agree but in this case he was using a high torque motor to get the same result so the weight of a standard piston and aluminium head wouldn't make so much difference because of the extra power available from the motor. There's a number of ways of skinning this particular cat though! As far as wear goes, high speed builds will wear quite quickly anyway so the minimal additional wear from a heavier piston isn't going to make much difference if the whole thing is lubed and shimmed properly. How did it turn out Ian? -
Help!!! - High speed/ fast trigger response setup
Lozart replied to CaptainDumbass's topic in Electric Guns
Holy necro post Batman! So anyway - yes if you are trying to create a high speed setup for a high rate of fire then the piston/piston head ideally would be lightweight items (swiss cheesed piston, remove the bearings from the back of the piston head etc). But talking of confusion I'm struggling to see where you're getting the idea that he was fitting heavier parts? -
I'd say go for it. If the existing hop is crap then the madbull one can't be any worse (and should be better - my point was that it isn't the best aftermarket hop you could get). Just be aware that in the same way as tracer mags do it only illuminates one side of the BB so it won't be AS bright as your B&T tracer. Ultimately as long as the hop unit actually functions properly you should do OK if you fit a decent rubber (I'm currently favouring Prometheus purples in my guns) and take the time to set it up properly.

If you have the tracking number you should be able to check it online.

True. Price is still pretty high though....

If you're looking at the G&G HBA-L it is REALLY heavy which may be a con for you. If you want to maintain the full auto aspect you'll need to abide by AEG/assault rifle FPS limits which could limit its usefulness as a DMR/sniper role platform. On the other hand...if you can afford it - have both!

On the Alpha tec model the rounds are loaded into a disc that is sized for 9mm blanks on one side and shotgun primers in the other. That way if you want to change from one size to another you don't need a new part or (as in the case of the EDD) a whole different grenade.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
Lozart replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Fair enough. I have heard though that it's not great either as a hop unit OR a tracer. Not actually used one though so I can't really confirm.
