  1. If you're using active braking that'll make the motor get hot.
  2. A real PEQ box is basically a ;aser illuminator and a flashlight but you can get empty ones that hold your battery.
  3. There's a free floating GFC one that goes for about £25. Airsoft Armoury usually have them but their sites down at the moment while they change shop.
  4. I do wonder sometimes why people expect to get all the features of a £1300 gun sight on a £50 clone.
  5. Could be pressed in or moulded in place.
  6. They had the RWA Night Warrior at the Airsoft Expo and that was up for over £700. All absolutely ridiculous if you ask me, who in their right mind would pay that much for a toy gun?!?!?!
  7. Spoken like a true diehard airsofter! New gunz solves all!!!!
  8. NNNOOOOooooo...... This makes me sad. Don't go. Just try a different site, meet a different crowd!
  9. Utter, utter madness. All my regular airsoft eyepro is ESS (a pair of ICE glasses for wandering down to get the gun chrono tested, Profile turbofan goggles for games and V12 Advancers as spares).
  10. As the title says really. I placed an order for some patches a month ago, they've had the money and not dispatched anything yet. Having checked the order one of the patches is on backorder but even so they've not responded to two separate email enquiries as to where my order is! Just wondered if this is common thing or if it's a one-off?
  11. Their patches are PVC. Which IS vinyl (PVC = PolyVINYL Chloride). But they're not rubber which is what I guess you actually meant....
  12. That's fine if you happen to have a 500fps rifle to hand. Otherwise you're only ensuring you can't shoot yourself in the eye and let's face it, if you're doing that you've got more issues than just your eyepro!
  13. And the award for best use of airsoft guns and gratuitous sauxy minx goes to....
  14. You still have to get caught first...
  15. Easy tiger, I'm sure there's things you wouldn't know where to look to find out. It's a perfectly good question. Lukataylor - All "proper" safety eyewear has to meet minimum impact resistance standards that are set by the relevant authorities in the area of sale. For example the picture posted above sets out quite nicely the standards laid out in the US for safety and ballistic eyewear. The standard that needs to apply for european manufacture is EN166. Look for Medium impact or EN166B (http://safetyspecs.co.uk/BS%20EN%20166.htm). A lot of cheap "safety" eyewear is only rated to EN166 F which is not high enough to resist impacts from 400fps sniper rifles for example. Goggles are usually higher rated than glasses (with the exception of military specific designs such as Bolle Tactical for example). There is NO standard testing for mesh goggles or glasses. As such you can only really go on recommendation and just not buying cheap crap.
  16. Hmm....sounds hop related to me but without seeing it I can't be totally sure.
  17. I'd say it's sitting a little too far forward. Bearing in mind the sorbo will compress slightly under pressure from the spring.
  18. Problem there is that serpa holsters are generally made for real world weapons. The hi capa isn't terribly realistic....
  19. Actually amazed that nobody has posted this link yet: http://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/43-longrange-aegs/892-holy-grail-building-your-dmr-aeg.html There does seem to be two schools of thought on DMRs in airsoft; boost the fps and lock to semi on ANY gun you like and call it a DMR or use an actual DMR style RIF and do the same thing. Personally I fall into the latter camp. I can't see why you want to "DMR" an MP7 but some do so there you have it. Plenty of sites seem to have a lower FPS limit for semi locked AEGs than for bolt action sniper rifles so you need to decide if the slightly better range is worth the loss of being able to auto the crap out of someone that really needs it lay down suppressive fire.
  20. Sorry, misunderstood at first! How about this: http://www.uktactical.com/p-5597-warrior-molle-harness-multicam.aspx with the PLB belt (plus pouches of course) http://www.uktactical.com/p-4438-warrior-plb-belt-multicam.aspx
  21. Some makes of chest rig can take a molle back panel. My WAS 901 has one, seen a few on Military 1st.
  22. I've used the Airlab pad in two of my guns. If the piston is too far back you can trim a bit off the black part with a sharp knife. Still does the job.
  23. By "people" I didn't mean you. If you do a quick search of the forum you'll find many a sandy vagina about this subject!
