Yes, you can use an HT motor with a Nimh but you won't get the best performance out of it. I've run mine standard on a 7.4v LiPo and it's pretty decent as is. I'd try it before you start ripping it apart...

He also has a Lotus Exige and an X5 (M-sport package one with the big f-off V8 - does even less MPG than his DB9). Plus a couple of sports bikes...

I loved driving my mates TVR. V8s are the way forward! When he ditched the TVR he went onto a Dodge Viper which was hilarious (until you tried to park it because it was as wide as Guildford) and now he drives an Aston Martin.

This. Also using a FET will bypass the trigger contacts which have a relatively high resistance thereby allowing more current to flow to the motor in turn improving its response. If trigger response is your goal then a FET is a bit of a no brainer really.

I believe that is indeed the FMA one. I bought mine from Apextac on ebay for about £20 less than that but it has to be shipped from Hing Kong so there'll be a bit of a wait.

They handle badly, the brakes are gash. The SRi is nice but only if you get the 2.0l petrol or the 2.2 diesel. The 1.8 petrol is THE most gutless piece of crap I've ever had the misfortune to drive. The under thigh leg support on the SRi is adjustable which is good, but not so on the lower spec models which means they don't support your leg properly when you're driving. The wing mirrors show you f*ck all and the rear 3/4 vision when reversing is non-existant. Cruise control is too aggressive going uphill and the gearbox is standard GM notchy crap.

Yes. Definitely. Mine fits just fine. It will in fact fit an AKS74U with the stock folded. If you have a longer gun than the main pocket holds, there is a fold out loose cover that extends it quite nicely (I use this to cover the end of my M14 EBR).

Yarp. I've actually had an M4, a SCAR-L, an AKS-74U and an M9 in one of those all at the same time.

I can almost guarantee that the barrel nut won't quite fit.

Viper Tactical multiple gun bag. (cheapest from Socom Tactical by the way). It'll carry two M4 style rifles in the main pocket, an SMG in the side pocket and a pistol in the end one. Pockets for mags etc and backpack style straps in addition to all the others.
