  1. that depends upon the lipo, if it has a high C rating, then yeah..... if its low .... eventually it will wear your trigger out a fet will save your trigger
  2. looks like a CYMA CM508 to me, about £63 + P&P from taiwangun
  3. To the OP, i wouldn't bother, you can get a new G&G CM16 raider with mags for less. IMHO the tightbore is useless (i wont have tight bores in any of my guns as they dont do alot more then say +20fps in an aeg), and and so is the DD rail edit :- the FPS dose seem low, i am guessing the original owner has screwed something up and is now trying to pass the gun off
  4. i would advise against getting the raider L, i have one (the basic CM16 raider L that is), and i have converted it to a standard raiders front end. The extra length can be a pain in the back side (especially in CQB etc). other than that, try them for size etc ... or just get the one you like best
  5. Hmm HPA or GBBR or GHK G5 or WE MP5A3, too many choices

never seen anyone with a HPA gun last all day before it stopped working properly lol for that reason i'd vote GBBR

    4. Qlimax

      Qlimax

my SMP is HPA and it's ran everytime i've used it without fault. only issue it's ever had is hop issue but it didn't stop play

  6. SD you need to be very specific with the SR25, some are V2.5 (V2.5 being 19tooth, i believe/have read CA and A&K are) where as G&G SR25 is a (standard) V2 yeah i have a spare box (got it off ebay ), atm this spare box is not usable due to the army trigger contacts being pants (sorry to be brutally honest), when funds allow i will be replacing the trigger with a G&G unit (hurry up payday!!!) as others have said, its more then likely, too fast trigger response/expectation, and like you said a faster motor will help
  7. to answer the OP, Yes and no. they are a very nice design, very robust, but there are a few niggles. The main niggles are down to 2 things :- 1)the fact that they share a lot of features with the TM PSG-1, they have the same pre-cocking function, they use the same pistons/springs etc etc. if this is not desired, this can be sorted with a conversion to normal AEG standard (it involves replacing the piston, spring, and sector gear with the addition of a spacer between the piston and piston head) 2)And the "blow back" ... basically the mechanical blow back merely rattles the fake bolt, it can and has been known to break, very easy to disable it though. 3)the triggers are known to burn out, this may in-part be due to point 1 That said its a good gun, and has one of G&G's great hops (par with TM imho) ill admit i have had a few issues with mine, but i bought mine 2nd hand (and it was in a bad way), and have restored it. FYI the army R85 is a clone of the G&G L85 as for the ICS, they too have a few niggles, best to have a look in the review section, AirsoftEd has done a great review there.

I Am playing it loving the destroyers ATM
  9. I use silicone grease on nozzle/piston (plastics/rubbers) etc then lithium grease on gears and bushings etc
  10. i know why it has no semi, and it may explain a few other oddities, its way round the patient that siegetek hold, so they can sell them in america, as siegetek hold the dual sector gear patient there. still that is quite shocking on the porting and the gear binding. and like you said where is the G26 pistol grip from the promotional pics? it really is a half arsed, cut corners, and bodged attempt at what could be and should be a great gun
  11. will a KJW mag fit a WE M9 ... more specifically the Barry Burton edition
  12. Arrrr no probs there then Dose it fire at all?
  13. I should have said, is the motor connected up the right way round? To be honest you have to listen when setting the motor height, and I am no expert at it
  14. Motor connected the right way round? Is the motor height set?
  15. They are a gas hog, mine got slightly better the more I used it but a mate of mine is buying it off me on Friday
  16. Yeah that should be more then enough, but only getting 20 - 21 rps is poor for a gun that "should" give 29rps still no semi ... i still cannot work out why they didn't include it ... unless its some mechanical reason
  17. Just out of interest whats the "C" rating of your lipo mate? it could be that your battery isnt able to crank enough power out ... then again it might be you battery is ok, and its all just marketing hype seriously though, no semi .... that's bad .... kinda makes the gun seem pointless (from my perspective) i really wanted one as well
  18. Yeah it was the mag, i tried one of my G&G mags and it was much better .... not 100% but good enough. it is odd with the FPS ... then again its shooting at the same FPS as my firehawk 270'ish on 0.25's
  19. had it apart again air seal is almost perfect removed sector delay chip ..... and now i am getting 267fps ... which is nice (this works out to 300fps on 0.2's) which is what i was getting before. i also performed some test swapping to the shorter barrel i gained approximatly 10 to 20 FPS the bad news in full auto, removing the sector delay chip has made it miss feeds a lot ... but my local site is semi only so not too much of a issue atm. so the big question do i get a sp110 spring and go for a 330fps gun ..... atm .... NO
  20. Joy and sorrow in one foul swoop so i finally received the ASG ultimate silver coated wire, and promptly re wired my gun . i was having a bit of trouble reassembling my gun (the norm i am learning for V2 gearboxes!), and i had been given the normal raider out barrel and inner barrel , so i promptly swapped them over to boot. wiring finished, all back together ... to to do a FPS and bb per sec test .... the good news is it spitting out a nice 27 to 28 bb per second ... the bad news is my compression has ran away! i am only getting 169 to 200 fps ...... WTF going down the list of things that i have done which may have had a negative impact on the air seal, other then replace the piston o-ring, i did fit a sector delay chip ...... getting fed up with whipping the gear box out lol edit :- forgot to mention, even when i went back to my original barrel/hop assembly, the FPS was not much better around 10 to 20 fps. i did the paper test. (Flip the gun upside down. Put a small piece of paper or tissue on the magwell hole. Dry fire the gun. If the paper blows up at your face, your leak is most likely between the nozzle/hop up assembly) .. paper didn't move time to swap back the piston 0-ring
  21. Which specific model side arm? As others have said you may/will need an adapter gun depending etc
  22. Update time so i have found a nice torch off ebay, its not mega bright (bright enough), it takes 2 cr123's (i have rechargables so thats cool), it has a laser and its quick disconnect ..... but no strobe gunna keep my eyes open for another torch with strobe ... just in case as to the gun, i am more impressed each time i use it. The range i can hit people at just blows me away! so much that I now have 5 mags for it, and i happily run just this for a game or 3 (i could easily run this for a full day, but i have other guns and they need some loving too ). one "bad" thing i noticed, after a while the trigger started to get abit "sticky", a quick squirt of silicone oil down the mag well soon sorted that out though on a side note i have been made aware that taiwangun sell these guns and mags even cheaper under there STTI brand, but i cannot confirm this (as i have not ordered one etc ... well not yet anyway ... hmmm dual wielding mk23's)
  23. you would not believe how easy and hard is is to answer this lol firstly lets make the assumption that you pistons cylinder is correctly ported for every length you use generally as a rule of thumb longer barrels will increase you FPS (upto around the 500mm long mark on a v2 AEG) but not by massive amounts a shorter barrel will reduce your fps ... but not by much a tighter bore barrel will increase you fps, but not by as much as longer barrel a wider bore *may* reduce your FPS, but not by a lot the other thing to bear in mind this isnt an exact science, some people may get a + or - 50fps with the longer barrel, some may see a far less or no difference at all. similarly a tight bore can give 30fps extra or none at all i hope this helps some. (on a side note i dislike tight bores totally, as my 1 encounter, well it had me buying a stock barrel!)
  24. forgot about these :- amazon 10 boxes (500 snaps) for £1.90 delivered!!
  25. I have 2 co2 mags for my we 5.1 hi-capa, never once has it shot above 330-340fps. I was told that it has a lower flow valve than a gg mag, hence the stable fps.
