  1. If your doing a rewire of your gun, don't be fooled by those sellers selling motor connectors for over a £5 for 2!!! check out ebay item number 150787567724 (you will of course have to supply your own red/black heat shrink tube), but with this item you get 10 gold plated (better conductivity) connectors, that fit perfectly for £2.99 if you need the opposite end ebay item 140913669902 will sort ya
  2. last few bit :- 1x 12g recharageable co2 cylinder SPEED Airsoft tuneable blade trigger for M4/M16 - Silver HSA R-Hop Z-kit
  3. wooohooo got paid Gate PicoAAB Mosfet 10x mini spade connectors gold plated (bargain £2.99 if they fit airsoft motor's) wooden apache model . . and a mini G3a3 for giggles
  4. i hate to be the bear'er of bad news, if its the madbull DD rail they are £80 iirc, then you would need the ICS fitting kit £20 - £30 on top so over the £100 mark for the front rail. its not a bad deal when you include the sight (and dependent upon any upgrades/extra's etc) and (like you said) if its in good nick
  5. in this land of Hi-Vis this and that ... sometimes it blends itself into the background
  6. seems i clicked post while mid typing in all honesty, just go with what you think works. i remember playing one day, and on the enemy team, one guy had a bright orange gun ... and he was the most sneaky/hard to spot
  7. read this thread ... all i could think off was this >>> https://youtu.be/1wm72oqsYqA

basically "pop out" airpistols or gat guns. they work by spring, firing the whole barrel forward, until it hits a end point stop, and with the resulting momentum pellet is ejected out the barrel .... pain to recock (when i was little) and reload (you have to cock it before you can reload it), very inaccurate, loads of kick ... but a whole lot of fun. to be honest i don't think you see them much these days, as they are not very powerful at all. ill try and take a vid at the weekend...

  10. wow they never had them in stock long ... then again they did only get 5 in and i took 2. when i originally contacted them, they got them within a week iirc.

  12. firesupport stock the mag lips
  13. from hobby king - 2x Turnigy nano-tech 1300mah 3S 25~50C Lipo AIRSOFT Pack
  14. TM less then 300fps ... but not much say 270 - 300
  15. Good choice on the g&g mate To be honest the is no "best bb", makes I would go with are asg blasters, blaster Devils or g&g's As for weight 0.2's are the norm, 0.25's will get you better range, better foliage penetration, (very) slightly better wind resistance, but will travel slower and cost more. I use 0.25's in my cm16
  16. From reading this and your other post, i can see that you really want your own rifle. And i know you want to fit in with your mates etc, but the advice you have been given in this and the other thread is based on experience. wait save up and get a proper rifle. just out of interest what rifles do your mates have???
  17. once you do the standard AEG piston/sector gear mod, they are as reliable as any other AEG. and that mod is only advisable if you don't want the pre-cocking feature or you want a high speed setup
  18. while i cannot provide any concrete evidence, i do know of an individual who was a WE disturber, who was apparently selling SMG8's to his mates for cost ... around the £100 mark
  19. arrr sounds like you may have what i had with my G&G SR25. If you have, you have managed to lock it up in a magical place, torn between firing and the trigger reset (that's what the clicking is, the trigger resetting). The only cure as i found out was to drop the motor out, get a screw driver and either manually turn the bevil gear until it fires, or see if you can release the anti-reverse latch. hope this helps
  20. Is the gun semi only?
  21. (shamelessly stolen from Mack )
  22. before you do that, dose the top of your mag look like these pics? Your slide pin should look like this when inserted (sorry the pics are not that brilliant)
  23. very interesting point. but just for the sake of my lack of knowledge on this subject, you have your gun set for 0.28's and the site chrono's @ 0.3's (yeah i know its only a small difference), but would that not make your gun chrono hot? as from reading your original post, you set your gun for 0.2's, and found when using 0.28's you had the same FPS .... forgive my asking (and lack of knowledge) but would it matter what weight ammo you chrono'ed at as it seems you get a very similar FPS no matter what weight of bb's are used. unless you are saying that you should set your gun up for 0.3's (for the chrono), then use 0.28's (in the game) ... in which case that makes sense to me or have i got the wrong end of the stick?
  24. great gun, my raider L DST is coming up on 2 years old, other then cleaning the barrel and charging the batteries, nothing has gone wrong with mine at all My only complaint with mine is its too long in my view, i should have got the standard length raider , that said atm i am trying too see if i can source a firehawk top end/barrel as according to G&G it will fit .
  25. so i enquir'ed to G&G "how much for a fire hawk top end/barrel to replace my CM16's top end/barrel" ..... for less then £40 i could buy a complete fire hawk!!!

I haven't seen a top tech fire hawk anywhere ... only the CM one ... was it a limited edition?

yeah the gear ratio is a pain, what i was planning on doing was replacing the motor on my CM16 for a high speed one, fit a mosfet and use a 11.1v lipo ... then use that with short top end :)

      Sitting Duck

TT FH had a G27 pistol grip and was the first initial batches to get great reviews, trust me with stock 18:1 gears hi speed motor deans & fet you will hit 30rps on 11.1v & 20 on 7.4v. That was what I found with CM18 stock g/box. Most places are out of stock of FH's though.
