I many situations a plate carrier can be a hindrance and slow the person down (extra weight, reduced mobility etc etc), and there expensive. so in certain circumstances (such as training) a tactical vest is far more beneficial.

well my 5off 500mah batteries have arrived (so i should get 30% longer flight time), and as a plus they can charge off my imax b6 .. bonus! (that is using the balance cable that they came with) another prop lost lol, so i changed the last one that it came fitted with, as it was looking rough with chips missing etc ... done flies a little better but i have got 4 more sets of props now too ... just incase put my memory card into the drone, to do some minor camera work ....... and suddenly i am pants at flying again

i am upto my 7th or 8th battery now ... and i have lost my 2nd prop but i am getting the hang of hovering and recovery they only thing i am crashing into now is the ceiling i still cannot get my head round flying somewhere forwards, then turning etc that's gunna take some time. been looking at dji phantom 2's ..... /drool

Welcome to the forums you missed an important bit off kit off your list there ... a good pair of boots i have a G&G SR25 (the one with a QD silencer), its not a bad gun, but it dose have its issues, such as it will only reliably take G&G mags (i bought some other brand off ebay ... they dont feed unless you hold the mag in place ). Also it need lipo'ing as i managed to lock up the gearbox (i didnt keep the trigger pulled long enough), which meant as there is no full auto to unlock it, i had to drop the motor out and move the bevel gear round by hand ... not an easy task. if you do like the SR25 style, check out the A&K sr25. it uses the longer (PSG-1) piston/cylinder/spring etc. and i believe its cheaper (i may be wrong here)

yeah thats the one i got, off amazon too ... though mine was £38 iirc, but from china yeah it seems, good to me, but read the reviews ... and get some spare props lol after my 3rd battery i am starting to get the hang of it ... still lots of crashes etc though

check which way your red and back plugs are connected to the imax6

well i have just lost my first prop i am getting *slightly* better ..... but i have just ordered 4 complete sets of props .... something tells me i will need them

Just wondering if anyone else here flies quadcopters/drones? just picked myself up a Hubsan X4 H107c ... not had chance to play with the camera yet, but its a lot of fun , kinda like an angry bee lol ... that said my control skills suck ... props flying everywhere (even with the prop guard fitted!)

i have honestly never had a problem with norton using anything more then 2% of my systems resources (and my PC is near 8years old), i always found mcafee was the resource hog. (edit fyi, i use norton internet security)

be-careful with that website, its just sent my Norton into full panic mode

its not a v2 gearbox (but is v2 compatible), but it is easy to work on, and if worst comes to worst you can get a whole new gear box for £60 off ebay (ill pm you some video links of how to strip it down) just remember unless you do the conversion to standard pistons, effectively its a PSG1 piston/spring

is it piston "slapping" or gear box whine? if its gear box whine, consider using tefelon grease as for silent piston heads, i honestly don't think they work (or they didn't in my TM mp5K ... That said my g7g L85's piston is extremely quiet, no idea why)

i heated mine up and moulded it to my CYMA G18c AEP, it took quite abit of heat iirc ... but its nice and snug now

where was that from? The army R85 is a G&G clone. i got a back up army gear box for my G&G l85, it was ok once i had sorted out the trigger contacts .

Bought the Dd rail for my L85 off them (only place i found in the UK with stock at the time), it arrived the next day before 9am (Dam you for waking me up ...... but thanks for the DD rail ) no problems, no issues lots of

could use a gbb desert eagle though ........... would look odd imho

it should be noted that not all MP5's use V2 gearboxes, My TM MP5K uses a V3

you *may* have rotated the barrel slightly in the hop. if so it might not be a big issue, most time of the time removing the barrel + hop, then looking down the barrel, holding the hop, rotate the barrel to align them is all that needed

when was the last time you cleaned the barrel? its the barrel to hop aligned and not twisted etc? as for the hop adjustment arm moving, there is normally a small screw in it somewhere (if its got the hop type i am thinking off), it may have come loose.
