  1. So I bought an m100 to bring my G&P below 365 (hopefully 350) and the m100 is 2.5 times longer than the stock spring, no way I can fit it in. What are my options?

I'm without car at the minute SD, but thank you for the offer. I've managed to get it back together with the stock spring in it after much swearing and raging. I'm going to send her off to Z1 to get them to put whatever spring is need in it, and install a lipo alarm whilst im at it. Plus it means if I've put it together wrong, they'll correct it when they put it together again :P

no worries - just thought you was local-ish to TWA Croydon, if ya need owt gis a shout though

  2. Slatwall? The type with the metal reinforcing in the groove. You can get all sorts of hooks for that I think. Seen it used in plenty of airsoft shops.
  3. Good Russian or German War films that have English subtitles? I'm learning both languages and watching films seems to help me. Have watched 9th Company, The black Book, Generation War and Siberian Education.

Not really a war film, unless you count the Cold War, but worth a look is 72 Metpa (72 metres) about a submarine crew trapped under the sea after their modern diesel sub hits an old WW2 mine. It's a very 'Russian' film, so not everyone will get the point of it, or much of the humour, but if you do, then it's worth it. Nice soundtrack too.

I seem to remember a film about the Russians in Afghanistan called "The Tank" but not sure if it's in Russian?

Joyeux Noël? Has German and French I think but no German. Very good film though....

  4. Good man! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKJ12HaDYGk&index=34&list=PL4470832AEFCAA460
  5. SHS m100 spring to get my M4 useable (Came in at 365 even after all the usual hop up magic and 6 magazines through it) so I should be back in the game shortly! (God knows I need it, I've gotten unfit as f*ck!)
  6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8j2d--DItQ Got a thing for German music ATM. And well Carice Van Houten
  7. ZeroOne have a custom build service, they should be able to sort you out, I've seen something about an SR25 done by them before. They locked it to semi but included a switch (hidden in the stock I think) to allow a burst of auto for when the gear box locked up.
  8. I've looked up any near me and they're a bit too far to be traveling. (not technically speaking, but it takes hours to get anywhere in London) So going to wait till I move back to Glasgow
  9. Sorry Ian, I've been away and have only just seen this ( came back to an absurd amount of notifications so didn't go through everything). The machine is being stored at my sisters at the moment, if I get some pics during the week of it do you think you'd be able to tell visually?
  10. Trouble is finding someone to play with if you're only a secret/part time geek like myself
  11. Never realised how long the video was when I watched it lol. I was totally engrossed.
  12. Aye, that's Bolt Action James. I like the rules and game itself, just not the miniatures. I can't help but find them somewhat cartoony and unrealistic, maybe its just me being awkward. I'd also prefer to use a more commonly available scale like 1/35 or 1/72 as opposed to 28mm so I can customize my army more easily (and cheaper!)
  13. Bolt Action & Flames of war to name the two I'm familiar with I just don't like their models, so I'm going to buy a bolt action rule book and use minatures of my own choice! Thanks Lozart, might have to treat myself to a Tiger!
  14. Been looking into Wargaming aswell as possibly starting Re-enacting/WW2 airsoft. I know this one off by heart as well as panzerlied, shame I have no idea what I'm singing!
  15. Reviving this thread- Does anyone play any of the WW2 war games? Which brands do you prefer for WW2 models? Scales? If i were to give a proper go of this, could someone with some experience point me in the direction of necessary starter kit? ( I have brushes and some crap paints, sprue cutters and stanley knives, something like a "Paint pack" which has a lot of generic colours i.e German infantry colours or something like that?)
  16. Do any of you lads have any knowledge RE old school metal sewing machines? Been looking into getting into Tactical Sewing, spotted an old machine and antique sewing machine table at a bootsale. Thought to myself I'll nab that and save £300. Problem is, whilst I can tell it is up to the job, it is lacking a needle and any markings for me to identify it by. The bloke in the sewing shop says he needs to know which machine it is to sell me the right needle, are they proprietary? If I posted up a pic would anyone be able to ID it?
  17. Anyone else like Root beer or Dr pepper? I'm literally the only person I know who likes either.

Love both but root beer is my all time fave! I sometimes buy crates onf 30 cans in off ebay!

Dr Pepper isn't strictly a root beer. It IS the Devils piss though.

It's flammable too, so next time someone asks what's the worst that can happen just say "third degree burns".

I like Dr Pepper but not root beer :)

  18. this may seem silly, but how have you put the bb's in? I think they need to be pushed in properly, to seat in the "magazine" like loading a TM revolver.
  19. Eye protection (Goggles or mask), Combat boots and Knee pads in that order. Gloves help with blisters but if I had to pick just three things and turn up in any old clothes I want those, not only for safety but comfort also. I'm a more confident diving about with ankle support or taking a knee when I've got a lot of weight on my back if I'm wearing the proper stuff. EDIT: Ninja'd by Mack. Didn't see your post mate.
