  1. I'd get the vaseline out if I was you. Being petroleum based it might eat into your seals. Even if it doesn't it's nasty stuff once it gets dirt in it, will probably cause jams rather than lubricate it lol!
  2. Can of compressed air and an old toothbrush depending on how thick/set it is
  3. Can't find anyone by the username of JR0210 on the members list bud.
  4. Got to feel like shooting someone in the face after that
  5. Waiting for Elder Scrolls : Online to update so I can connect to the server. Feels like forever, just want to try it already :P

  6. If you're ex forces mate you'll piss all over the other snipers by knowing about field craft properly
  7. Sorry to hear that mate. Not all gruntwork though, a lot of them specilaise in logistics and risk analysis stuff so there may be a job out there with a medical you could pass and a hint of military life you miss?
  8. Private Military Contractor(s). Like Blackwater in the states.

  10. Join a PMC? I hear the Brit companies pretty much have a monoply on shipping contracts so it'll just entail taking pot shots at Skiffs?
  11. I know the feeling. Last time I was as a site I looked around and thought to myself, "Wtf am I doing here" and it dawned on me how literal it is that we are "playing soldiers", felt a bit embarrassed with myself to be honest. Can't stop buying kit for my Force Recon loadout though, I think the lack of play over the years and building the loadout means i've turned into a gear collector instead of an airsofter without even realising.
  12. Just to clarify, we are talking about the m60 right?
  13. Dont know what head the Z -tacticals use Ian but this might be of some use : http://www.rakuten.co.uk/shop/bossdeals/product/885370669985/?sku=885370669985&scid=stylight%26_%24ja%3Dtsid%3A71108|kw%3Apc_ebay_uk|cgn%3Apc_ebay_uk&sclid=a_pla_uk On a side note, you could invent the adaptor and make a fortune from all the "keyboard Warriors" looking to get tactical in the living room lol
  14. Is there any particular unit you'd like to re-enact or whatever? Personally I do a USMC Force Recon kit, so I use this : http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/m4-ras-6-position-p1819 It's the basic "issue" m4, conventietly the guys over at G&P have a brain and instead of front wiring it in the RAS, its rear wired to the stock tube. Comes pre-wired to mini-deans for a stock tube lipo. PAS have the mk18 in stock http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/M4-Mk18-Mod-0-with-Sling--Limited-Edition--AEG-G-P-GP615.html#SID=370 Edit: I'd also like one of their m16a4's, well because.... MARINE CORPS AND MURICAAA B*TCHES Shameless plug: it comes with the rail covers, foward grip and a magazine ( which is excelent by the way)
  15. My Xbox set up experience was rather straight foward and easy, just plugged in two leads in two different holes lol. I'd say the hardest part Ian is going to be creating yourself an Xbox live acount, typing is really a pain in the arse without one of the little keyboards that clip into the controller. Had one for my 360, made things a lot smoother! As well as gaming they're good for Netflix and watching DVD's. Be warned though, you have to install games before you play them, its not too bad though, once they get to like 12 percent or something you can usually start playing and it'll download while you play. Seemed like an eternity to me though when I wanted to play Assasins creed and had no games installed
  16. G&P m4 all the way, infact I love their whole m16/m4 range. Had 3 G&P's everyone was a rock solid little work house. Well worth what you pay, the build quality is really good and sturdy. I'm told they're the best for aftermarket parts and real steel parts aswell due to their size tolerances compared to other brands - though that may just be hearsay as I've never tried to fit anything RS on mine. Never had a problem with other parts though so your upgrading should go smoothly. If you're getting into the whole milsim scene and you're seeking realism then the G&P is really lovely in the hand, it's easy to forget you're holding an airsoft rifle due to its weight and solid build. They also feed from MAG midcaps which a lot of guys use. My mags were wrapped in eletrical tape due to the loose fit in G&G magwells but I had to remove it for them to fit in G&P as it made it too tight due their finer tolerances. I've had 3 G&G's and an ICS, I'd say none of them came close to my G&P's in terms of looking and feeling the part in your hands.
  17. The assasins Creed series are good Ian. Really enjoyed Black flag, and I'm playing Unity aswell. Have to be strategic most of the time, unless you want a massive sword fight with 12 guards or something
  18. My Walt detector was broken so had to settle for that
  19. What exactly is it that is SAS about this mate? You've stuck on a set of DPM's and a Colour Sergeants rank tab? If you're going on the "SAS" smock making it an SAS kit, afaik that's just a marketing term for a slightly modified smock?
  20. Well Jelly of the 226, regret selling my KJW one. Feel so right in the hand! I've just bought an Alice style replica canteen and pouch from the local surplus shop. Nabbing the bottle for my new USMC canteen pouch, keeping the ALICE pouch for when I buy another ALICE rig later down the line, again something I regret selling
