I have never seen a plastic bushing fail. I have seen MANY MANY cracked metal bushings.

Totally agree, there's a reason I sold my PTW and went back to a recoil shock gun.
What I was disagreeing with was the suggestion that the PTW was basically just an expensive ICS, which really isn't true at all. So very very far from the truth.

Cycle completion, instant trigger response through precocking, stop on empty, 1:1 dimensions, completely different hop design, planetary gearbox....
If you've got the money, they're very much worth it. If you don't, they're not.

"Systema is just an ICS"
Err, no. Completely different design.

Jesus that gun sounds like it's about to drop dead.
If it were a racehorse, I would shoot it.

They don't have to last long because the user normally is getting eaten by a alien

Looks good, interesting that you've decided to do decals after weathering though.

Thing is though, in 99% of cases you're right about the smelly, pot bellied, greasy haired, stained tee shirt wearing, aspergers virgins that inhabit GW stores.
Much like airsoft, it seems like fly paper for the inadequate!
So much so, I spent an extra £60 on a VIP ticket to Warhammer Fest so I don't have to queue with the literal great unwashed. 🤣

Basically all guns will shoot further with a .25 than with a .20
I don't see what your point is?

I think you're missing the point of co witnessing, literally every single red dot available on the market can be co witnessed, this is not a unique EOTech feature.
Additionally, the image you've posted there is simply a guide on how to zero your sight using iron sights that have already been zeroed, again, this is something any red dot sight and/or laser can do.
EOTech sights are designed to be used standalone, while the front sight post will not impede their use it doesn't add ANYTHING to it at all.

While the advice "get the best airbrush you can afford" is 100% valid, you can get great results with a £15 eBay job, I painted this tank using an airbrush setup that cost less than a decent dinner:
