  1. A few even wraps of tape sorted mine. Just add a little bit at a time and test fit until your happy with the fit!
  2. If you fancy a read of my build thread, its essentially a step by step process for building a decent VSR 10. Lots of issues ran into and solved, some by myself and some with advice from most of the chaps who have commented above me. A lot of stripping down and rebuilding as @alxndrhll has said, but I got there in the end and now I never use it 😂 I blame my MTW!! My one bit of advice would be to get your own chrono. You really can't build a sniper without one! All the best!
  3. Thanks for that @GeorgePlaysAirsoft. You can't please everyone I suppose! I'm a HPA welding wanker who also wears a Kicking Mustang leaf suit so I'm either not taking my hits or cheating the chrono!! Then on other days im just a cunt in a dye mask and running too fast with a Hi Capa! I'll give it some more thought and see what the other lads think!
  4. Airtac do bright coloured sleeves which is what I use on my timed grenade. I must admit though, I prefer to use single use in woodland!
  5. I run a dynatex timed grenade. I think tethering it to yourself would limit how usable the grenade would be, probably getting snagged on stuff and getting you shot as a result!
  6. Hello all, anymore recent reviews on this site? My lot have fallen out with Anzio because of how over grown the site is this time of year but we do love a bit of building clearance! Nicco has recently played here and it looked pretty much like Anzio but with less trees! Seems a shame to drive 1.5 hours to find it's disappointing due to being poorly run as we can drive 40 mins to Anzio for that!!
  7. I haven't been to a site that corners you into buying theirBB's yet, did they stock every weight imaginable? I think i'd begrudge having to buy bottles of varying weights each time I went to a site like that, and i'd definitely be put off going back as well. Was this "rule" mentioned on their website at all?
  8. Hello, My tank lives in a Viper VX Buckle up charger pack which is connected to a Viper buckle up utility rig. You have to unzip the expansion zip on the bottom but it just fits in. I suppose because it's a tight fit, it dosn't flop about when running, which i do a fair bit. I've got the same back pack attached to a plate carrier when im not being one with the bush. With regards to dwell, to put it as simply as possible.... Dwell controlls the amount of air dispelled with each trigger pull. You want to set your MTW up to use just enough air. Too little and your FPS will be all over the shop and too much, you'll be using more air than neccecary. To set this up: MAX your dwell setting Adjust your regulator to your desired FPS Start lowering your dwell setting one step at a time and fire a few shots through your chrono (I hope you have a chrono) You'll want to keep dropping the dwell in this way until you see your FPS drop, then up your dwell a couple of presses until your at your desired FPS again. Top tip, Disconnect your FCU and re-route it through the QD point above the rear of the grip. This means you can adjust the dwell without having to split the gun apart everytime you need to change it. I hope I've explained it well enough. Fortunately, Wolverine / Rich Lort have put a tremendous amount of effort into making Youtube videos that explain all the different settings in great detail. So if what I have said isn't easy enough to follow, then have a gander there. I've watched all of their tech tip videos god knows how many times. There is also a facebook group that Rich Lort actively responds to people on as well. You've bought a great toy gun with great after sales help!! All the best!!
  9. @eddie-biggs Apparently high pressure Airsoft have some mags in stock at the moment!
  10. oooohhhh look at me with my shiney new PTS EPM1 mags!! Had an absolutely brilliant time at Division 22 last Sunday! New mags fed perfectly! My mate ran his new MTW as a DMR, together we were a bit of a pain in the arse for the other team, I just wish my mate would wear his bloody comms!! I stuck to running 0.32's and was seeing some decent range, my mate was running 0.36's @ 330ish FPS (450FPS on 0.2's) and they were absolutely flying, the grin on his face in the safe zone was huge!! Yes, there was a photographer there. Yes, I bought a few photo's.
  11. Haven't seen any places with stock of MTW mags for a while. I've been using £10ish nuprol mid caps with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Although last Sunday I busted out my new shiney PTS EPM1's and they were faultless. I think some people have feeding issues with "excessive" rate of fire but my two mags and my mates two mags coped just fined! Got 4 mags for £100 from Patrolbase.
  12. I've not used anything lower than 0.32g. I can hit a confirmed 60m tree with ease. I'm just experimenting with 0.36's at the moment to compare the difference at AEG FPS Vs DMR FPS with my mate. We both run 10" MTW's. Hope that helps!
  13. I leave my reg on but turn the pressure all the way down once it's not in use! Love my MTW, trying out some more 0.36's in mine tomorrow!!
  14. I have a cheap Cyma Springer but wouldn't mind a gas one after seeing them in action! My mates not long got the TM AA12 and that thing is fucking bananas!!!
  15. I tell myself every payday that im happy with my kit and I dont need anything else, but then someone brings out something shiney or something breaks and I may as well replace X, Y and Z parts while im in there! Maybe you need a shotgun? Maybe I need a gas shotgun? hhhmmm
  16. I've seen them side by side, bar the colour, they are identical!!
  17. Can't beat cheap!! How many additional airsoft metres do you think you have gained? After having a double check, my mates site allows DMR's upto 450fps, so there is a definite advantage to be gained! Now I just need to find a bulk bag of 0.4's before sunday or just go full crazy and use the bag of 0.43's I've got sat about not doing anything. Should hopefully have 4 PTS EPM1 mags turning up tomorrow. Went halves with my mate. £100 for 4 at Patrol Base is decent. Fortunately I won an Odin Sidewinder speedloader from Lucky Pew a few weeks ago so I'll be able to fill them properly as well. Just hope they feed OK as I've read mixed reviews. My mates coming round Saturday night for some help setting up his new MTW and to get some Halo screen put on his brown KMCS. Roll on sunday!!
  18. From looking at his website and after watching a few videos, looks like a 180 round mag is in development.
  19. It's a tricky one picking the right weight isn't it. I've only used 0.25's in my AAP SMG but that's because that's the max weight allowed at the CQB site I use it at. I'll hopefully run it a Gaol for a few games next month along with my MTW. There aren't that many long drags to need the heavier weight so I'll see how far 0.25's will accurately go. If in doubt I've got a lot of 0.32's in stock. So I'll either use those or just have to get closer to the baddies!!!
  20. Playing at a new site on Sunday! My mate who runs UKFOB has started a site called Division 22 with a few of his mates. https://division22.co.uk/ Plans are to run it in AEG mode for most of the day to learn the site then switch to DMR perhaps after dinner. My mate (who I infected with the Airsoft virus) has just spunked on an MTW after borrowing an MTW for a few games, so that's 4 of them in our group now 🤣. Next game day after this should be Leicester Gaol in September. Quite looking to changing the look of my MTW for that. I'll be removing the leafy wrap, short dot and Silverback Supressor and fitting a red dot and smaller QD KAC supressor with my tracer unit stuffed inside! Oh and will also slap a torch on as well for those darker rooms!
  21. That's my mates site. All of it was pretty much sold before it hit his website. Another order going in soon though I think. Hopefully the next one turns up first time. The last order went missing twice!!
  22. I've got a couple of the WE extended mags that work well! Never had any issues with them, however they haven't seen much use!
