I think it's as simple as design progression. From Hadron atleast I'm sure they started with the fang plate and the progressed to the H plate. I've just chucked the newer CNC H arm in my MK23 and 0.4's fly. I think it's just me thinking it's better because I've spent money on a new shiney thing to replace a less shiney thing! They are possibly all the same and we've been scammed but hey ho.

Are you inserting the slide catch pin back in with the slide pulled back far enough, so the "pointy bit" of the pin (that's missing a bit of paint) sits in the smaller of the 2 notches in your slide?

True, but the same gun that's over on joules and FPS running 0.46's, can also be under limit when measuring just FPS and ignoring joules on 0.2's, like we know some sites do. I guess it's entirely up to the individual, but I know that the toy guns I field are within the required joule limits and I'm happy enough to know that if someone got hurt from me shooting them, it'll be more down to bad luck than me being a bell end. It's a game of honour at the end of the day with regards to more than just hit taking.

Have you short stroked it at all? This is something that generally happens when you add too many buffers.

Not entirely true. My sniper runs at 460ish on 0.2's which is 2.29j on my set up. If I were to get it any closer to 500fps on 0.2's I'd be over in joules when I chuck some 0.46's down it. Hence there is a difference in measuring in them. That's the main issue with people who build their first sniper. They aim for 500 FPS because sites set that limit and people see it as a target. But then use heavier weights et voilà, Joule creep!

I enjoy it there but the "dust" is quite bad, my mates went last night for a private game and although a great time was had, the dust was apparent. The rubber chippings have been displaced quite a bit now so a lot of it is bare stable floor which is mud/dirt. So it may not be the rubber matting that's causing the problem, but whatever the floor was when used as a stable. I've added some photos that Hell's uploaded in September. This isn't all of them, but it shows it quite well. I don't think you could argue it's from a smoke grenade either. That being said I'm going to be going down next Wednesday night if they get the numbers. If my insides aren't fucked from 15 years worth of diesel fume exposure anyway then I'm sure a bit of dried horse muck isn't going to do any harm. One thing I do like is that they've made each building with several different entrances, but each time I've gone, they've opened and closed different doors so It keeps it fresh, even for locals. Im yet to venture to the department, so cannot comment on that!

That looks rather lovely mate! I can highly recommend using a TTI adjustable trigger to make things go skkrrrrr that bit quicker if it's a CQB build! The stock trigger seems to have a pull that takes 2 - 5 business days!!

I must have suffered a bump on the head at work because I was considering getting back into 40k. I used to play after school (shit.....22 years ago) for a while but then I found girls and just painted in secret 🤣🤣 I thought it might make a nice winter hobby doing a bit of painting but I decided against it in the end. After adding up all the money I intended on spending on miniatures, paint and the time, I could get some pretty sweet pew pew things and just play the new Age of Empires 4 instead!! My mate Dave still paints and has been featured in white dwarf a number of times over the past 20 years! He is good! 🤣

BIt's for my 4.3!

I've started wearing one and I must admit, it's quite nice to re-watch clips when you've had a good day! I played last Sunday and the last game was a free for all, I did rather well! The game ended with me and the other remaining player trading shots and doing a 1 Vs 1 to settle the outcome. I won, but not after shooting him in his dump pouch 6 or 7 times. When I get some time to edit this I'll upload it to YouTube. It will not be a cheater shaming video because he clearly didn't feel the hits! Plus it's also nice to send my mates videos of me shooting them!

Finally got the knack for it after a few messy failed attempts with the acrylic pen! Just need to go round the edges with some nail polish remover on a cotton bud to tidy it up a bit!

I honestly didn't think it'd fit when I tested it last night! I'm sure a dab of oil and some back and forth action will sort it! Mate, that's well fucking nice!! What did you infill with? Steve used nail polish, I was going to use my kids acrylic pens!

Well a short detour on the way home from work last night to see Kyle from Hi Capa Hub. AM slide AM Ali guide rod AM Ali guide rod plug AIP 120% Recoil spring CowCow B01 blowback housing I've also got some AIP sights and a trigger coming! It's all @Steveocee fault! Chucking in a red trigger to make it look less like I haven't got my UKARA yet! 😂 Waiting for some.3D printed bits to come in. Hopefully a nice alternate slide for skirmishing and a magwell in black!
