BIt's for my 4.3!

I've started wearing one and I must admit, it's quite nice to re-watch clips when you've had a good day! I played last Sunday and the last game was a free for all, I did rather well! The game ended with me and the other remaining player trading shots and doing a 1 Vs 1 to settle the outcome. I won, but not after shooting him in his dump pouch 6 or 7 times. When I get some time to edit this I'll upload it to YouTube. It will not be a cheater shaming video because he clearly didn't feel the hits! Plus it's also nice to send my mates videos of me shooting them!

Finally got the knack for it after a few messy failed attempts with the acrylic pen! Just need to go round the edges with some nail polish remover on a cotton bud to tidy it up a bit!

I honestly didn't think it'd fit when I tested it last night! I'm sure a dab of oil and some back and forth action will sort it! Mate, that's well fucking nice!! What did you infill with? Steve used nail polish, I was going to use my kids acrylic pens!

Well a short detour on the way home from work last night to see Kyle from Hi Capa Hub. AM slide AM Ali guide rod AM Ali guide rod plug AIP 120% Recoil spring CowCow B01 blowback housing I've also got some AIP sights and a trigger coming! It's all @Steveocee fault! Chucking in a red trigger to make it look less like I haven't got my UKARA yet! ? Waiting for some.3D printed bits to come in. Hopefully a nice alternate slide for skirmishing and a magwell in black!

Well I'm going round after work tonight, so I'll see what I come back with! ? Might be black, might be red, who knows!!

My 4.3 got a bit of an outing on Sunday. Didn't shoot any baddies with it but they had a man set up with an electronic target system there! I did alrite but kept on running out of gas! ? I think I've been spoilt with my MK23 and it's magical ability to fire 5 or 6 mags to a fill! I can see swapping from a primary adapter and PTS mag to normal mags being a learning curve. Can't beat a tactical reload though!

Am I doing it wrong? I've ordered a black one ?

I've just seen Matt's Facebook competition! The slides look brilliant! I'm definitely getting one. Just sold my AAP Pistol so another 4.3 will be on the cards I think!

Is it just slides or is it going to be a full re-stock? Might save me having to order from Rainbow8!

There are a few of my friends who won't even change the hop rubber. They have the idea that it should work fine out of the factory and shouldn't have to spend any more money to make it work better. They also moan a lot about people not taking their hits, at 60m, with their totally stock £120 Nuprol M4.

I'm still yet to use my AAP SMG since I fitted the Airtac TDC. I've got a game on sunday which i was hoping to get a bit of use out of my VSR before switching to my MTW, so could use the AAP SMG as a very loud and agressive sniper sidearm! Will probably fill it with 0.32's as I have plenty of those laying around!

Glad to hear it's working well, or atleast well with WE mags. Bearing wise, I've heard mixed reviews about the use of one from the AAP-01 Facebook group. The bearing is a reasonable fix if you can't get hold of a new hammer I guess. If I remember correctly I did look for a bearing but struggled to find any so had no choice but to fork out nearly half the guns value on a new hammer!

It's not a bad job, I'm sure last time I looked, Airsoft World had them on sale at a fair bit less than I paid for mine!

This is why I'm probably going to sell my AAP that's still in its pistol form. I've got my AAP SMG that I love (although didn't use at Gaol because MTW is king) but the pistol I very rarely use. It was bought as a sniper "oh shit" gun when I needed a quicker trigger than the MK23 but since the MTW came along it's been surplus to requirements really.

I do quite like the holster, however it took me a bit of getting used to as the release lever works the opposite way to the DTD one I use for my MK23!

That's lovely and really isn't helping matter!! Do you reckon that printed slide would cope with an occasional HPA battering? The more I look the more I think a metal.slide might make more sense. Here's a question. I know you almost have a Hi Capa for every day of the week @Steveocee, but is it common for people to build up different slides for different use? LIke a light weight option for skirmishing and a metal slide with all the gubbins for HPA powered CQB?

Names Nicco is worth watching on YouTube. He has an army background and seems to have a lot of experience in CQB. I like the guy but I'm sure someone will be along soon enough to bash him. He's obviously not the only person on YouTube you could watch but from watching his videos I've learnt about pieing corners and swapping from high to low when engaging them baddies. Probably simple stuff but it feels more 2nd nature now I'm actively trying to do it more! I think camp Sparta run training days but I haven't got a clue what that entails and as has been said already, not much point if your rolling solo!

So the damage, crudely hidden under some gorilla tape for now. I was just chucking a few rounds down the garden when ping, I hear something hit the floor. Look down to see my front sight on the deck and a chunk of my slide missing. This probably has something to do with me not know a great deal about hi capa building but and throwing a Waldo recoil spring in. 130% and a plastic slide probably wasn't going to last very long! I've since taken the Waldo spring out and put the stock TM one back in with a few soft short stroke rubbers. I've left the waldo nozzle spring in at the moment. This is 150% I believe. Future plans? I've been waiting very patiently for the Makeit3D printed slide to come out. I know @Steveocee was fortunate enough to test these out! So there will be no bring colours. All black, as close to original looking as possible for that sleeper build! I know the thread protector kind of spoils that a bit but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make for bright shiney green balls!! The pistol comes out as a secondary to my MTW at places like Anzio and Gaol at the moment, but has and will be used as a HPA powered primary at CQB sites like Hells and probably at Gaol when I next go in December. When used on HPA I tried to limit the FPS to 300fps on 0.2's. Also plan to fit my HPA adapter with a Nine ball gas router and was considering a high flow valve as well to help up the FPS but hopefully lower the required PSI........or will I need more PSI to supply the extra air being used? Hopefully it all makes sense. Looking to order a few bits from Rainbow8, I've seen a few bits in the UK here and there but not much. Any thoughts on which build would be better suited to occasional HPA use? Thank you, good night, much love!
