Well I finally got the Next speed hop unit installed! Pretty straight forward and I have to say, I'm impressed with the results. Tested to a range findedededed 60m torso sized target and hitting it every time with 0.3g BB's. I do normally use 0.32's but we've ran out at site 😭 Just need to get a new tracer unit now for the next night game we've got coming up at Killzone Airsoft. Might have some 0.32 tracers in the garage!

When my hammer went I just replaced that, but that was in the initial hype of the AAP and you couldn't easily get hold of full set as everyone's was breaking 😂 For peace of mind I'd just change the whole lot! Can't fault CowCow parts! Best of luck!

Leadly is short for "lead arse" as I used to sit down an awful lot at the beginning of my railway career 😅 18 years later the nickname is still going strong, I've just learnt to hide a bit better when I go for a sit down!

Went to see it last night! Rather enjoyed it!!

It's still currently sat on my workbench in the garage awaiting installation.....I just haven't had any time and won't be playing Airsoft for another month probably 😭 Are you just using the standard nub it comes with? As my mates just got the harder nubs in stock, but if it's flinging 0.32's to that range then I think it'll be reet. I'm sure it's got a flamingo in already! I'm tempted to sell my HPA tapped drum mag and get an MP5 adapter for it. But it's more money into a gun I hardly ever use 😅

They are stunning!! Great work!

Whats the general rule of thumb when it comes to fps/J?
leadly replied to Yashy's topic in General Help
If your intention is to just run one gun for CQB and outdoors then like has already been mentioned, they'll have to be compromises for either setting. You may not want a full sized M4 for CQB as you'll just get in your own way when taking corners or clearing rooms. Something the size on an ARP9 might suit. A few lads use them at our woodland site and seem to fair ok! I'd recommend getting a chrono at home so you can figure out what weights you can safely use while still being within site limits. One thing that is often over looked when matching BB weight to optimal range is playing style! If you like to push, the extra bit of range you MIGHT get from a heavier BB may be lost / pointless if you like to run around like a bull in a china shop! I stick 0.32's in everything I use outdoors that's not a sniper....ok apart from my click clack KC02 which I've got at 1J, this sends 0.4's close to 80 actual metres, or 200 Airsoft metres if you use that scale. Indoors I run 0.25's but I'm fortunate enough to have separate CQB pistols and shotguns. So the hop dosn't need to be adjusted to suit where I play. All the best xx -
I've currently got a TDC in my AAP, it was sold by someone in partnership with airtac. I believe this came out before the stalker and Loki hop units as well but I could be wrong. The quality seemed fine when I purchased it but part of the TDC has now cracked. It's very very brittle plastic / resin that has a screw hole very very close to the edge. This has caused uneven hop and the BB's do a rather cute "wiggle" when they leave the barrel 😅 I've not used my AAP outdoors for a long time so will be nice to have a tinker and get down to the range and see what range I can find with 0.32's. I'll drop some pics / videos and my initial thoughts once I've picked it up!

With regards to the PTS mag your using, have you broken them in? (left them full for a week) as brand new PTS mags tend to not be happy until theyve had a bit of use.
-
Not that I ever use my AAP but I've got one of these set aside for when I next pop in for a coffee and catch up! I believe they're due in next week or the week after! I've got a NexxSpeed hop unit in one of my Hi Capa's and I'm really impressed with it! So hopefully this is just as impressive! I was going to get a Loki for it but I like the fact this has a wheel that can be accessed when the bolt is pulled back!!

Did you post that on a Facebook thread a day or two ago?

Are teams with red armbands in the disadvantage?
leadly replied to ParHunter's topic in General Discussion
I'm sure we have bright pink and bright yellow at our site. So both fairly visible. I wish more sites would use an arm band on each arm though. It's frustrating being team killed when wearing one arm band because someone can't see what team your on.....despite facing and having your RIF pointed in the baddies direction. -
I use a G&G green with 0.32 and 0.36. Can't fault it.

When I actually remember to use multi shot quake, I tend to just hold it upside down and drop it around a corner at waist height. So it essentially lands on the plunger (hopefully goes off) directly below when I let go of it. I got hit in the face with a quake once. I came out of a doorway and looked up to see a quake falling down towards my face. Fortunately my dye mask absorbed the majority of the impact. Choice words were used when the idiot came looking for his grenade!

I use 0.25's in my two hi capa's. Mainly because that's the site weight limit at most CQB places I goto. If I actually use my AAP, then I put 0.32's in that. I've also downgraded my TM MK23 to 0.32's because it gets expensive when people don't take their hits with multiple 0.4's at long range 😅 From the range we set up at our local site, the 0.25's in my hi capa were hitting a torso sized target at 40m. Which is perfectly adequate when most of the folk getting shot with it are a few feet away when I get to play CQB!

Hello all, I've started my own "side hustle" laser cutting and engraving stuff. I managed to get a good deal on an infa red laser module for my set up. So now I'm able to engrave on metal and plastic (mainly black) Has anyone, preferably in the Derby area, got any metal boneyard upper or lower receivers they want rid of? Ideally free but obviously happy to pay if there's nothing going begging. Didn't want to really practice on my MTW 😅 Once I've got the hang of it, I'll be offering my services out to anyone interested xx£123

Last game of the year at Killzone Airsoft today! I turned up after lunch as I'm on nights. Fully KMCS'd up because I know you guys like that! Ran my MK23 and TM skirmish hi capa both with MP5 primary adapters. I ran dual lines so I could be a pain in the arse and be super sneaky and then switch to my hi capa for objective pushing! Was a fun day! Mainly did it because I have very little free time and miss playing CQB!

Have you had a look on Empire Airsoft?

That's not a bad price to be fair! My mate had a gen 1 Glock adapter from them, which broke quite quickly. They were pretty quick at getting replacement parts out and re- designed the mag release because quite a few people were having the same issue with it snapping! I think they're shotgun shell adapters are very clever!

I probably manage a game once every 5 or 6 weeks. I can sometimes get a few more games in if I use a some holidays when I'm rostered to work a weekend. I'll try get a midweek CQB in every now and then if I can't make a weekend woodland game. I should probably thin my gun collection down a bit, because the amount of guns I have Vs how often I play is quite silly!

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
leadly replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
After I nearly bought a stock KC02 to build up gradually, I ended up buying this instead from @Alimcd It's absolutely beautiful!! Can't wait to give it an outing at The MAW on the 10th! -

Might be best to just message Wolverine directly Dayne. When do I get to shoot you again?

Trying to source a HPA adapter for a KC02 before I actually pick up a KC02. A bit backwards I know but I don't want to fork out big money for loads of mags and then end up buying an adapter anyway. Cheers RichNO VALUE SPECIFIED

I've had an ender 3 pro for about a year now. Upgraded with a glass bed, CR touch and new bed springs. Really happy with it so far and havent really had any issues. Getting some nice consistent prints at the moment. It's currenty just printing off a sanding block that i need for tomorrow morning, as i've been laser engraving some signs for my mates airsoft site and they just need a bit of claning up!
