It can take quite a few tries to get through. Unfortunately if James (the owner) isn't there then things grind to a halt.

Noob Review: Red Alert, Berkshire

Yeah, I'd say fogging is the biggest problem for airsofters. CatCrap (worst name ever) is quite good -

Good review 👍 Obviously things will change from day to day so It'll be interesting to read your overall review after the three game days. Once you have UKARA, I can also recommend Skirmish Wycombe which would be a bit closer to you. -
Bloody hell thats a trip!!!

A full cylinder will help up the power. New motor and Maple Leaf will not do much in that regard. A stronger spring is the main component affecting power once you've checked the air seal is good. Someone will help with the best spring... (My guess is M110 or M120) Going from 7.4v to 11.1v will cycle faster but put much more strain on components.

What Have You Learned About Airsoft Recently?
EDcase replied to Cr0-Magnon's topic in General Discussion
I just take a spare AEG or two. I don't want to do any teching on the benches where bits can easily fall and get lost. -
True dat

That does sound like a badly designed/managed game. There's no point playing if there's no way to win. It may be the last of the day but jeez, simple zombies would be better than that.

Last time I ordered from Asia (KYAirsoft) it took a long time before they posted. Contacted them and turned out the website shows 'in stock' even when not. They were awaiting stock from the OEM.

Personally, I allow extra delivery time as its not the sellers fault if there's a cock-up or unexpected delay with transit. If the goods are not as described such as this case then definitely getting a refund asap.

Sorry to hear. Maybe we need a thread for vendors to avoid. AsiaArisoft, Sixmm and 'Special Airsoft Supplies' would be first on the list...

Welcome Sebastian. I agree with Rogerborg, that 4x may be a bit too much magnification unless you have a very accurate and consistent shooter. 2x will be more useful in general. Simple 1x red dots are the most common ...and yes, buy or make a lens protector... THIS or THIS kind of thing

To be fair, airsoft gunz are a bit more complicated than nerf so when people modify them it can be difficult to help because the problems are often unique to that build. Rocketdogbert suggested to put it all back to stock and change one thing at a time. That's the only way to test really... It does sound like the reset actuator on the lower is not being pushed down properly by the slide part that is meant to activate it in the cycle. Abbey gas is really only for plastic guns like TMs

UKARA is recognised by UK customs and often asked for when buying from outside UK. I also include it in my address to make sure its on the box

Or did you think you were participating in the 'Philadelphia Experiment'? 😄 So what happened? A good trip I assume... 😁

Welcome Harvem, Anything mass produced in the East can have QC issues. My SpecnaArms SA-E03 is amazing so I got lucky I guess. Sounds like you have a preference for the CYMA looks so go for that one. CYMA are one of the best budget makers so you should be fine. If it does have a problem then contact the shop for a replacement. First thing to do when you get a new gat is to clean the barrel. Often overlooked but there is almost always a load of crap in there from the factory.

Nice but I prefer the classic tiger stripe 😁 I just want an impression loadout without spending silly money on exact detail. The shirt, pants, boots and webbing cost me £61 😉 And its not the only loadout I have... More to follow... 😉

Whay Cant I Message Someone in Classifieds

I think you need a few posts before you can access the classifieds. To keep out the bots. -
Got my MACV SOG (ish) loadout sorted. (I know webbing isn't right but close enough for me 😉) And a choice of weapons 😄 Yes, the XM177 look is spoiled by the A2 upper but I'd rather have the lovely recoil of the Lonex BAW than the correct details 😁

Its an AEG with their BAW recoil system (Orange plug). (Not to be confused with the black plug version which has weaker recoil) Needs 11.1v to run and it has decent kick https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXCy8qvgxNs I might do a video of it

Lonex M4A1 BAW (Added XM177 flash hider) I LOVE this thing! The kick along with the sound is actually quite scary. (I just hope it lasts a while)

I had a generally good experience with them too. Bought a Lonex M4A1 BAW which was delivered quickly. On testing something went wrong and motor span freely (I thought gears or piston had stripped) I called to explain the problem and James said they would arrange pickup. Took a few days to sort out and then three days with no comms before I called to find out what the situation was. I was told someone would call back with info but that didn't happen. Couple of days later I called again and James answered. He explained he'd been out of the office due to car trouble and he would call me back after checking status. (So things don't run so well if James isn't there) He did call back same day but apparently the tech didn't find any problem with it. So he said he'd test it again and let me know. Two days later a package is delivered and there it is... Seems to work fine so I don't know what went wrong. (They did improve the bolt release button) Even though their comms were non existent and it took a bit over a week, (with no apparent work done to it), I'm generally happy with their after sales service. 👍
