Yeah the same prop gun was used in a couple of other films.
I just realised I have to tape two mags together.
At least I didn't spend $35,000 on it 🤣

Hey Gavin,
In your 'Guns' info just put 'All the Guns' 🤣
I'll just post this one:
"Say hello to..." something something 😉
The star is the real M203 quadrant sight
...and yes, the film prop used a fake M203 launcher.
I used to play Counter Strike at work back in 2000 😁
It was great for some instant action.
Have a look at videos of Reforger. It's the development for ARMA-4 if you've heard of the ARMA series.
Bit of info for anyone interested.
When Bohemia Interactive (Czech company) released their first version 'Operation Flashpoint' in 2001 it got attention from some militaries so they created a branch specifically for military use. Look up VBS4
For public gaming this became ARMA.
Of course their priorities diverged but Reforger roots are from actual military training software.
Mainly everything said above.
If driving, take separate comfy shoes for the drive and a plastic bag to put dirty boots in.
If on public transport make sure NO part of your guns are visible.
Nice find.
A drop of super glue should sort that out.
Give it a test of course to make sure that's the only damage.
The harder problem to find is if the metal wire inside is broken but not the plastic sleeve
Yeah it's a pain for sure but think of it as a chance to learn.
Make sure to unplug the battery just in case it's a short circuit.
Good luck and feel free to PM if you need more help
I think there is a break inside a wire. You'll have to open it up to find where it is. It would help a lot to have a multimeter. You just need a simple one. They are quite cheap and easy to use for your needs.
Yeah, that could be the problem I mentioned of a short in the body.
With the motor in place try pushing the main wire around to see if that makes a difference.
Hmm, that IS strange.
What do you mean, 'screw it in half way'?
What about if you pull it out slightly so the screw holes don't line up?
Also try moving the wire with each trigger pull.
I think the 'click'is just the mag touching the top of the mag space.
When the mag is in can you pull it out without pressing on the mag release?
Rather than modify all the mags out might be possible to add a shim or JBWeld to the top of the mag catch
I do get the wish to replicate and differentiate the various weapon types and representative calibers.
If we're talking dream worlds then in addition I'd change the fire rates to more accurately match the real world counterparts.
Good find 👍 (What search engine do you use?)
The followers are poking out so they should be OK.
(Might still be sticky like the one you have but at least you can disassemble yours without risking your only mag)
