  1. Bem vindo 😁 You have the right plan to rent for 3 games to get UKARA registered 👍 Its all downhill from there...
  2. Does it click when you push it forward or is it just friction? A spray with lubricant (Not WD40) if you haven't already.
  3. A full cylinder will help up the power. New motor and Maple Leaf will not do much in that regard. A stronger spring is the main component affecting power once you've checked the air seal is good. Someone will help with the best spring... (My guess is M110 or M120) Going from 7.4v to 11.1v will cycle faster but put much more strain on components.
  4. Lucky bugger 😄 Just make sure its NEVER seen by the public. (Even through your house windows)
  5. Welcome 🖐 Sounds like you have the right plan. Rent first then think about weapon later. Priorities are good eye protection (search forum), face pro (recommended but not necessary) and boots with ankle support. You should go to a local site for the first 3 games to get UKARA registered. You'll meet other friendly players there.
  6. I just take a spare AEG or two. I don't want to do any teching on the benches where bits can easily fall and get lost.
  7. That does sound like a badly designed/managed game. There's no point playing if there's no way to win. It may be the last of the day but jeez, simple zombies would be better than that.
  8. What a load of crap. Prefiring around every corner 🙄 I know its effective but I want nothing to do with it and its what puts me off trying CQB.
  9. TG show it coming soon for £255 but you'll have to pay %20 + £11 on top.
  10. Last time I ordered from Asia (KYAirsoft) it took a long time before they posted. Contacted them and turned out the website shows 'in stock' even when not. They were awaiting stock from the OEM.
  11. Personally, I allow extra delivery time as its not the sellers fault if there's a cock-up or unexpected delay with transit. If the goods are not as described such as this case then definitely getting a refund asap.
  12. Hmmm, yes thats an issue. I guess it would have to be anyone who can meet at a common skirmish site.
  13. Hey Snuff, Once you know what the minimum order is, ask around for anyone who wants to join in a bulk buy. I'd be up for buying a few...
  14. Sorry to hear. Maybe we need a thread for vendors to avoid. AsiaArisoft, Sixmm and 'Special Airsoft Supplies' would be first on the list...
  15. Yep, good review. As with Snuff, used to go there but eventually stopped because of issues such as hot guns (I got hit on the eyebrow which drew blood) Also marshals ignored some blatant cheating by the regulars. An OK place but there's better around the area such as Skirmish Wycombe and Red Alert.
  16. Welcome mate. Don't worry, nobody takes anything seriously around here 😉 Looking forward to seeing all the goodies on sale 😁
  17. Welcome Hope it lives up to your expectations... 😉
  18. Welcome Sebastian. I agree with Rogerborg, that 4x may be a bit too much magnification unless you have a very accurate and consistent shooter. 2x will be more useful in general. Simple 1x red dots are the most common ...and yes, buy or make a lens protector... THIS or THIS kind of thing
  19. OK thanks, I'll open it up sometime.
  20. As BigStew said, its a case of trial and error to find the best mag for your gun. Most should work but some will be better than others in your particular guns. Funnily enough I just got my first flash mag with my Lonex gun but its doesn't work. After firing a few rounds it just unwinds itself. I'll have to open it up to have a look if there's anything obvious I can fix. Do you know what to look for?
  21. Welcome. Might catch you at Red Alert sometime... (Wycombe Airsoft is also a good site not too far)
  22. He decided to get into paintball instead 🤣
  23. If you want something a bit different, the AAP-01 works very well out of the box. Uses standard Glock mags.
  24. Its always worth having a backup. If you don't have a backup GBBR then an AEG is good but you have to remember to charge the battery each time. Up to you if you want to sell the 416 and get something else...
