To be fair, airsoft gunz are a bit more complicated than nerf so when people modify them it can be difficult to help because the problems are often unique to that build. Rocketdogbert suggested to put it all back to stock and change one thing at a time. That's the only way to test really... It does sound like the reset actuator on the lower is not being pushed down properly by the slide part that is meant to activate it in the cycle. Abbey gas is really only for plastic guns like TMs

Anything by CYMA or JG are a safe bet and they both do MP5's 😉 Check body material for your budget and preference. Plastic is fine because the metal used in budget guns is quite weak so not much stronger. Example: This one is metal on top and plastic lower half. JG usually perform well out of the box and certainly good for first toy gun 😁 https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/jing-gong-jg-m5-j-smg-5-w-retractable-stock?pv=8768 Even though its smaller than M4 or other battle rifles, an MP5 is still fine for playing in woodland games and of course perfect for CQB.

Duno that make. Also depends how much he's asking. Look for proper reviews and check retail price.

Hi and welcome fellow Berks guy. Sounds like you have a good plan of action to get into it 👍

UKARA is recognised by UK customs and often asked for when buying from outside UK. I also include it in my address to make sure its on the box

Or did you think you were participating in the 'Philadelphia Experiment'? 😄 So what happened? A good trip I assume... 😁

I hit a nail through mine 😈 Was an entertaining way to make it safe. Of course you need a good place to do it... Outside in an old baking tray away from anything flammable. (And keep the extinguisher handy 😉)

See if there's a 'Go Outdoors' near you. They had those Coleman tanks. My trouble with using propane was the fill nozzle always leaked. Tried two different attachments but they both leak badly when I tried to fill a mag.

This is how it looks on PC as of 10:15 🤮 -
That should be fine. The 'defence' and two tone is a legal requirement for vendors to sell replica firearms. As long as its not seen by the public you'll be fine. If it IS seen by someone who calls the police, they will treat it like a real weapon and shit will get real fast.

We or TM Biohazard Virus Samurai Edge M9 Pistol?
EDcase replied to Armo1000's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. All WE BarryBurtons explode 🤣 (But... the V2 has addressed that problem with new design and materials) Better check because I don't think the TM has full auto if that's important for you. -
Welcome! Haha, 32 aint old by a long shot... You'll certainly meet loads of people at the game days and you'll see familiar faces after that. Won't be long before you have airsoft mates.

We or TM Biohazard Virus Samurai Edge M9 Pistol?
EDcase replied to Armo1000's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
As BigStew said, it depends on the use and your preference really. TM has gained their reputation for a reason. Good reliability, accuracy and being plastic will use less gas. Personally though I always go for metal as it just feels better. I don't know about the Biohazard model but I have the standard WE M9 v2 and I'm very happy with it. -
👍 Yep, its gets even better when you perfect your gear and learn the terrain.

Welcome! Here's where the action really is 😉

Nah, that's a parody of Kenny Everett's 'Cupid Stunt'

Welcome Harvem, Anything mass produced in the East can have QC issues. My SpecnaArms SA-E03 is amazing so I got lucky I guess. Sounds like you have a preference for the CYMA looks so go for that one. CYMA are one of the best budget makers so you should be fine. If it does have a problem then contact the shop for a replacement. First thing to do when you get a new gat is to clean the barrel. Often overlooked but there is almost always a load of crap in there from the factory.

Nice but I prefer the classic tiger stripe 😁 I just want an impression loadout without spending silly money on exact detail. The shirt, pants, boots and webbing cost me £61 😉 And its not the only loadout I have... More to follow... 😉

Practical Experience of Voltage Vs C Rating in Lipo Batteries?
EDcase replied to rotor92000's topic in Electric Guns
The complication is that with the lower C the voltage will drop so the motor will not get the full 11.1v It will turn fast because the battery will try to keep up the wattage but it will damage the battery long term. Essentially the C rating is the safe maximum constant power output for the battery before damage will occur. Some batteries have a second higher C number which is the Burst rating. This this is the highest momentary power rating. -
Practical Experience of Voltage Vs C Rating in Lipo Batteries?
EDcase replied to rotor92000's topic in Electric Guns
The C rating is the batteries maximum current output so if a motor needs high current to drive it then a battery with low C rating would struggle. If used in full auto for extended periods it would get hot and may burn in the worst case. Using a battery with low C that gets warm will have a shorter lifespan. Note that this is more of a concern with RC motors as they can get quite large and power hungry. Most batteries can cope with AEG motors quite happily. If your battery feels warm after using full auto then it may be struggling to deliver the power needed by the motor so get a higher C battery or a more efficient Neodymium motor.
