Playairsoft – a Crowd-sourced List of UK Airsoft Sites

This one too https://airsoftranch.com/uk-airsoft-map/ I prefer a large scale map that you can zoom in to find your area. -
Finally sorted out my A&K LR300 Good deal from Titano Store for £165 but needed some tlc to get it working well. (Was shooting 260fps way right and some of the screws were completely wrong type) M100 spring, Maple leaf macaron, reshim including motor height set on half shell, bearing guide and now shoots 320 dead straight 👍

Lunacy in Public. Man Points Bb Pistol at Police.
EDcase replied to AlphaBear's topic in Latest News
Yeah, I was thinking of real guns as they're the only thing that can really do harm. A legitimate owner might be temped or coerced into selling their legit firearm for enough money since it won't be traceable back to them. As for airguns/airsoft being used then as I said, they should be treated as real and deal with the consequences. -

Weapons used in crimes always have their serials ground out so registering only helps the owner prove it is legal. Doesn't stop illegal ones. The only way illegal guns are monitored is by ballistics. -

Two tone doesn't mean anything. Anyone who threatens others with a gun shaped object should be treated as having a real weapon and taken down if they do not obey Police to drop it. With no repercussions on the Police officer if its later found to be a replica or toy. -

It was a training scenario -
Well, since I had a few springs lying around I finally decided to making a spring power measuring device... Using a luggage scale you hold and pull on the orange hose fitting up to the orange line (piston length). The scale holds the measurement so you can read it when it beeps. Takes a few goes to get an average reading but I compared readings of known spring strengths with a friend who uses a slightly different method and our readings do correlate. I will try to find an M10 bolt that only has threading at the top to make the pull smoother.

Yep, I think the key thing is to avoid the stores using UPS (for now) -

I don't want to rub salt into the wounds but to give a glimmer of hope that all is not doom and gloom ordering from Europe now. I took a chance and ordered a rare RIF from an unknown site in Italy called TITANO-STORE Ordered: Monday 15th. No confirmation email 🤔 Wed 17th. Asked for update. They replied it would go in afternoon. Not feeling confident Thursday 18th. Got email just with DHL tracking number. Estimated delivery 24th Today 22nd Surprise package arrives 😲 No extra fees to pay!!! So I would recommend Titano-Store from my limited experience. ...and what did I get...? https://www.titano-store.com/en/c/airsoft-c28617/rifles-displayed-by-model-c28842/lr300-c29132/lr300-full-metal-aandk-lr300-p939142 £165 including delivery EDIT: While the delivery was good, the rifle itself is not so good. Looks like someone has been in it and messed up a few screws. I didn't ask for any power adjustment and they didn't mention any so I suspect its a dodgy return they had and passed on to me. Not going to bother returning. -
I like looking at my wall and thinking... 'Oh, I didn't remember I had one of those' 😄 Old age helps 👍

Duno about labelling them tho 😄 Is that so you remember what you've got and where they go? 😉

Yeah, I wonder how difficult the forms are to fill out and process. That's really the only hard part about bringing a vanload back. -

I wonder what would happen if customs pull you over for random inspection with a load of rifs? I guess if you have a UKARA/site membership card you'd be OK but would they demand receipts and a tax payment? -
Adding to the good Doctor, the loadout looks good for winter but you'll die of heat when it warms up. The XR5 is a good shooter. (based on an M4)

I'm still hopeful that importing from EU will stabilise and be simplified in future. Brexit on top of Covid has disrupted everything really badly. Since November I'm still waiting for parts from KYAirsoft who say they're still waiting for a shipment from WE. This is also affecting UK retailers who obviously have very low stock at the moment. Things will get better... We have EVERYTHING to look forward to -

Yeah but we haven't had to deal with them separately before. It makes the final price harder to work out right now. And of course the crap customs clearing times that are being reported. -

First thing is always to see if you can find it in UK and what the price is. Then you can see if its cheaper from EU or East. With the Brexit shit its now a bit less beneficial to look outside UK. Its generally a bit cheaper from EU but keep in mind the hassle in case you have to return it. Taiwangun is good for returns so if they have what you want then its worth it. Could also be worth looking at the JG M-4A -
Spring guide probably out of alignment. You'll have to jiggle the bit under the barrel.
