Oooh Nice! Did you get it from Octagon?

I don't care what happens to muppets who fall foul of their stupid decisions. What concerns me are the repercussions on airsoft. As we all know the government is struggling with catastrophic policies and an increasingly volatile society so they'll jump on any chance to pretend they're cracking down on 'dangerous radical groups'. We could easily go the way of Australia...

Welcome ✋ Airsoft is one of the few sports that you can still play at 60 😁 Just take it easy and take care of the ankles 😉

The hop rubber should be replaced after this amount of time but that will affect the BBs firing rather than feeding. Definitely clean the barrel too. The feeding problem is likely due to the magazine spring being too weak. Does it have a wheel at the bottom? If so then half fill the mag and wind the wheel until you feel more resistance. You should get a new mag to test with anyway. When you look into the BB feed tube (underneath), you should see the nozzle move in and out. If it doesn't clear the feed hole after firing then there's a problem in the gearbox. Just watched the video. I've never seen a transparent plastic gearbox before and it's cool to see. It looks like it's cycling correctly but I doubt it will last long especially with it's age so I would advise getting a metal one. EDIT: Just had a look and I could not find one in stock so if you get it working enjoy it while it lasts. Best of luck

Welcome ✋ It's great you can get some gear and info from your mate. So you can try without jumping into buying. Will save you loads on potential bad purchases. 👍

Battery compatibility for Specna Arms Edge 2.0 X-series
EDcase replied to marcusr's topic in Electric Guns
Recommend 7.4v ZeroOne suggests THIS one but its out of stock. The dimensions are stated as 100x20x12 so look for something similar. Though best if you can measure the space yourself. 3d printed extensions could work but you would probably have to try one out. (I guess PLA is soft enough that it will hold any threading) -
Click on your Avatar top right of the page and its in the dropdown list near the bottom.

Why, they're still around. (The one I miss is Classic Army) But there are many others now and overall quality has gone up with prices going down.

You know you can delete old adverts? Select 'Hide' in the options at the bottom of the page

Heavier BBs are less affected by wind/leaves etc (higher inertia) so fly further/straighter depending on overall power and hop. Lower weight BBs fly faster so if your pew manages to fling them far enough there may not be much point going heavier.

What have you just 3d printed (for airsoft)
EDcase replied to sp00n's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I would say its impossible to 3d print an entire working airsoft mechanism so yeah, shell bits around existing components would be fine. -
I also agree with ButcherBill. £30 is a very good price for renting so take advantage until you are registered with UKARA. Each time you go you'll be able to talk to others about their pews and maybe test them too so you can get a better idea of what suits you. Nothing worse than rushing into a purchase (even if you think you're taking your time) and realising you made a poor choice. The sales section always has them and you will lose a lot of money trying to sell a two tone.

Yes, its likely the battery isn't powerful enough. Look for a 7.4v LiPo with the highest mAh (How long it lasts) and C (Max burst power) rating you can find that will fit in the battery space. All the usual places I would look (Turnigy/HobbyKing/ComponentShop) seem to be out of stock ? But remember you'll also need a decent charger to make sure charge is optimal. Do a search on the forum as chargers have been discussed before. Also consider changing connectors to DEANS (T-plugs) for best current flow. EDIT THIS battery should work (check size) THIS charger (or similar) is the most basic THIS charger is good and a good price but note that it needs the DEANS connector on the battery.

Sorry to hear Snuff. Even if you have to reduce the number of game days, be thankful you can still play. Some of us(me) can't play at all anymore ?

Higher power DOES put more stress on the gear set and bearings. -

Quality over quantity ? All metal version weighing a satisfying 1.75kg And newest toy. Limited usefulness in a game but so cute and fun -
The AAP01 is highly regarded as a good value performer

I wish we could do a team-up but unfortunately I can't play anymore. (May not have been close enough anyway) Here's an old one from Skirmish Wycombe in 2021 I'm facing the camera, my son is next to me and @GAMBLE is on the right
