      @DopeYourScope I did love the game area of Apoc, one of the best in Kent. But needs improving on the organisation. 

       

      We would like to go back on day.

    Its amazing how much an aftermarket nozzle can screw up feeding. But also how much FPS you can lose going back to the original one!

    EhobbyAsia sent me an email saying they couldnt provide the stock of some items. (5 G36 midcaps, 1 MP5 RDS, 1 AUG Highcap, 1 Guarder barrel) So ordered ZCI 407mm 6.02 barrel to go in my ARX160 Acetech Mosfet to go in the ARX160. Also ordered Pistol retention strap Guarder G36 Cylinder/piston set. Just have to get the mags some other time and I can live without the RDS.

    Anyone with transport going to a Skirmish within the next month around London/SE area? My battle buddy wont be able to play this month and relying solely on public transport to get to new sites means I am very restricted. I can meet you at any London underground/overground station to get to you at a rail or underground station. I can pay petrol money and bring my good cheer! 

    I can do Saturdays and Sundays.

    ICD Tactical rail handguard for MP5SD types. Ugly as sin but the only bonified rail system available anymore. Two Prometheus purple buckings.

    Just picked up the only CW 14mm tracer unit I could find in the world and in stock. https://www.davescustomairsoft.co.uk/Weapon-Accessories/Flash-hiders-and-Suppressors/FMATracer I am one happy chappy as this will fit on my JG MP5 SD. Its not quite fat enough, but happy to take that compromise!

    260mm ZCI Barrel for my P90 229mm ZCI Barrel for my MP5SD6 M110 Spring to see if I can avoid short stroking my ICS CXP by another tooth.

    Are ZCI Barrels an upgrade over stock TM ones?

     

    I have read fairly decent reviews. I usually buy exclusively Laylax Prometheus barrels. But as I get more guns, the upgrade costs rack up. Looking to put new barrels inside my P90 and JG MP5. 

    Is the Laylax worth the more then double cost? 

     

    Did you find much difference between the two?

      @ak2m4 can tell you. Peter's been selling them for ages with good reviews. How they stack up to stock TM though, I don't know.

      Never had a stock TM to compare one with.

      What I do know is they beat most stock 6.08 JG/Cyma/APS barrels. There about the same as an LCT 6.02.

      You can polish them and they get better if you do that.

      If you are in doubt ask @ak2m4 He sells enough of them to know what's what with inner barrels.

      There certainly better than anything made from alumimiun. I'd have a ZCI over the like of a madbull any day of the week.

      If you really wanted an upgrade you might get one of the newer polished tolleranced Lambda barrels from ak2m4. Those should certainly be an upgrade. The 6.05 lambda 5 with the 1 micron finish should outperform pretty much all stock barrels out there if the polish is right. At £40-50 I will be taking a punt on one the next time I need an upgrade.

    This is long awaited for me. EBay have a 15% off voucher til midnight tonight so finally picked up this badboy. Real Steel FAMAS full length scope Mount. It will need some dremelling to fit, I have never seen this particular rail mentioned in any English speaking Airsoft forums. A cool 140 quid direct from France.

    Picked up quite possibly the worlds most expensive metal delayer chip. The King Arms one for £12. Also a plastic Lonex one and a set of rare Guarder ALICE clips.

    I can bodge it if I accidently break the feed tube. I got a supplier for a spare hop unit if needs be as well!

    The ARX160 has arrived. Seriously has the worst feeling ABS plastic (Similar to my TM Famas). Feels flimsy. But the plus side is that it is incredibly lightweight for the size which is more important to me. Everything else seems fairly solid. Decent high torque motor, good sounding gearbox, Hop unit seems flimsy but have worked out how to release the barrel and hop unit with just one external switch. 5 minute hop bucking change is pretty easy with this! Haven't fired it beyond dry firing but seems fine otherwise! Worth the 105 quid considering how unique it is. I just wish they did the Elite version in Tan! If you want the best rifle for your money and don't care about being unique, go for a JG G36. @Skara Edit: The Hi cap mag it came with broke within 2 shots. My ICS Hi cap then broke straight after, which was random, fixed it and all works fine now. It wont fit PTS style midcaps. Chronos at 318 with the hop on with a 6 +/- Variance and 328 with hop Off with 6+/- Variance.

    I couldn't be bothered to return it if it arrived faulty. It'll get gutted and upgraded before I play with it anyway . I should receive it on Thursday! Did the cylinder get knackered?

    They are different parts of the law I believe. To buy a RIF you need to acquire a defense. To prove you are an Airsofter you can get a UKARA number which you get playing Airsoft over a certain period of time. Another defense is for use in Cosplay and you can get Cosplay insurance (Though this is far less used by shops). In short, rightly or wrongly Real guns and Airsoft guns are treated very differently. You cannot use your firearms license.
