Misleading claims in adverts and timewasters

The more you buy and sell, the more you notice. It's prevalent in any second hand selling of any kind unless there are contracts in place (Ebay.... And even then!). It is especially prevalent in non essential hobby classifieds (If I may be stereotypical here). Airsoft, Guitars, RC Cars, Gaming. Full of flakes and dreamers who either don't have the money, patience and/or people skills. It's one of the reasons that I have to take a big deep breath before I put anything up for sale and have to be in the mood to deal with the above. Also one of the reasons why I almost never buy second hand stuff myself, I find it difficult to trust peoples descriptions. -
I had an argument with someone about this a year ago at Mayhem. I was being shot at by someone who had a rifle above their head over a bush, but their head was behind the bush. They claimed they could see through the bush. I complained to the marshal who agreed it should be aimed down the sights of the rifle. But another marshal said the opposite and neither wanted to mediate and get involved. The guy who shot me decided that because safety brief didn't specifically explain this circumstance to anyone. He could see me, so it must be fine. So in the end it it meant I have a very small chance of hitting them through the bush and they gained an unfair advantage. The site you played at may have stopped hip firing, trying to solve the same issue I had. The average Airsofter can be pretty stupid and it's best to have a simple single rule, then attempt to explain what I experienced above. Some rules that sound overbearing to us, are in response to Airsofters that have pushed the boundaries (And the spirit) of the more lax rules that existed before. Not because marshal's are trying to be arses. Hip firing I have no problem with.

Hey guys. Got some practically unused G&P midcaps. Essentially the best trad G36 mags you can get. Never been Skirmished and as such are scratch and dent free, however some of the coupling prongs have snapped (as per usual on G36 mags) I was thinking for 6 of these at £60 posted would be a fair price. What do you think?

Decided to put Airsoft on the back burner for a while and clear out some of my more esoteric rifles. I have gone full on AK/Russki Recently, so don't see these getting a look in anytime soon. ICS L85 SHS/Rocket Green Neo High torque motor Perun Mosfet Guarder clear bucking ZCI 450mm Inner barrel New Cutoff Lever and Selector Gear. Wired to Deans. In good condition, slight oxidation on the engraving. Used for 3 Skirmishes max. Gearbox has been nicely shimmed. This RIF was built for heavy weight ammo in mind. from .30 and over. As such it will overhop any bb weight under .30 (.28 is fine if you like a well hopped .28!) I would MUCH prefer collection from my house in Dagenham/London. Hello all. I have these two modified Mag brand M16vn Straight mags. They had been modified to go into a receiver that required the mags to have a shorter spring housing (See photos). These work a charm in any M4 mag compatible rifle I have tried them in. Most marks on the mags have been from storage, only used for a couple of games max three or four years ago. £12 posted to mainland UK for the two.£12

Hello all. Going full Marui on my MK23 mags so my last remaining ASG one is for sale. It's only been used in three skirmishes. Has usage marks as can be seen in the photos. I have widened the BB channel slightly to allow for reloading the Marui way. Has a 100% gas seal and is always filled with Predator Maintenance gas between skirmishes. £17 FIRM posted.£17

Cheers folks. I have some measurements. It's definitely different in design, but maybe the dimensions are the same? Comparing it against some of my other pistols, it's not compatible with MK23 as it's took big. Hi Capa ones have protrusions on them. So maybe a Glock style one would do the trick? Maple leaf Hopup Wheel For G series / M&P / 92Series Pistol - Skirmshop Ireland LTD ML Claims this one should be compatible which is also for Glocks.

Hey all. Simple question. Are all the Marui hop unit wheels the same? I managed to ruin my M9 US one and now the slot for the arm is too deep at the max setting which means the minimum setting hops more! I see lots of Maple Leaf Hop wheels for sale for different TM models, but they all seem to by the same to me. Cheers!

Problem is the AK21 retail price is overblown as these are regularly discounted in any sale to around £170 new. This doesn't look to be in the greatest condition either. I'd say 100 if you want to shift it.

"Technically" The ICS L85 doesnt require a mosfet for 11.1v as the trigger system is unique and mimics a mosfet by preventing arcing in a mechanical way. However if you do decide to get a mosfet, just get a very basic Finfet one. Personally I would change the motor to a balanced 16TPA neo one to increase trigger response and ROF first. It's really easy to do on an L85. You may feel the gains are good enough to avoid having to use 11.1v If you do decide to use 11.1v make sure to open the gearbox and correct AOE before doing so or you'll be munching pistons, also the weak cut off lever on the L85 will take a real hammering on 11.1v.

It's purely for realism. The M9 plastic does look good, but once scratched up through normal use is obviously plastic. My FN57 has no weights on the pistol, because the magazines are so large and heavy.

Time to start buying different nozzles to see what is a better fit for the Cylinder head. Tightening a spring just hides the issue and guaranteed will rear it's head once the spring loosens again.

I do find that Leicestershire Airsoft commonly has the highest prices of many things in the UK.
