So a retailer had me over on a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster scope. Was told it was back ordered till about October despite being told 14 days on ordering. Asked for my money back, I just picked up a heavily used Phillipino Simmons Whitetail Classic 3.5-10x50 for a little over 50 quid. The air rifle forums seem to like them so hoping for good things on my SRS.

Already filled that in and sent it back 2 weeks ago.

Lots of movement on my package. In the last 24 hours it cleared Poland, into Germany and straight back out to Stanford-le-hope. I now have these two messages with "Awaiting clearance" as the heading. To me it appears the messages are out of sequence. Otherwise, is the clearance agency different to customs agency? In Transit 18/03/2021 14:21 Stanford Le Hope, United Kingdom Your package may be delayed due to a required document inspection by the clearing agency. 18/03/2021 14:21 - Your parcel was released by the customs agency.

I did get most of the stuff I wanted in before Jan. However when gunfire is the only place on the planet that genuinely has sets of 5 PPS Shell Ejecting Gas Shells at a reasonable price, I had no choice and ordered knowing of the UPS issues. Edit: I can either get 2 shells for £13 not including postage in the UK. Or (At the time of purchase) Or 5 shells for just over £18 taking into account import fees from Gunfire. It's a no brainer.

I rang UPS and asked if they accepted my fire arms declaration. All they could say is that they have received it, but has yet to clear customs. (Whether it is accepted is a different matter, it's been a week since I sent my Declaration back) Also asked if I'll get an Email from customs to pay the charge, they seemed to think I would pay on arrival. So slightly worried.

So I just checked my tracking number it has now changed to awaiting payment of charges. Presumably that means my Declaration is ok? How would I go about paying the bill? I don't see an option on the website, will I get contacted with a call or Email? Cheers all!

Sorry if I missed this. How were you told it had cleared? I have sent my form, do you get a confirmation that it's all ok?

I just had my phonecall and accompanying firearms declaration. They are doing it for parcels that include only parts as well as RIFs (I was just ordering parts). My guess is, because the goods note is in Polish, they cant tell if there is a RIF or just parts inside. It's a fairly simple form, also asks for velocities of the RIF as well. I thanked them despite the delays for taking the importation of RIF's seriously. Doing the job that BF and PF failed to do effectively.

Is that cleared Polish customs or English customs?

Funnily enough, the JG Thunder Maul is based on a rifle in Ghost In The Shell, a 1995 anime movie. It predates many modern rifles that you can get in Airsoft. As someone who is 35, the rifle does appeal to me, though not enough to purchase one. (Its quite innacurate, the one depicted in the anime is a bullpup)

Indeed, the full length AK Front sights are pinned in. I have had to round out the flange with a dremel and tap for a screw much like the Cymas to get it straight. Pretty sure all enhanced selectors fit the E&L. I could only ever find them on the Continent or in Asia though.

Most of my E&Ls have slightly cockeyed iron sights. Had to straighten those out.

Ahh! Cool. Mine has been fulfilled. I am pretty sure they only had one. I get the feeling its a one man band. E&L has better Blued steel externals and internals (Neo Motor, better bushings and a Tappet Plate that is correctly shaped). However the fit and finish is a little sloppy compared to the LCT. If you dont mind a bit of fettling, go for the E&L. Otherwise the LCT will be fine with a motor and bucking upgrade.

Second attempt at getting a 410mm Crazy Jet barrel for my SRS ?

My order from GF is stuck in the same warehouse, though I only ordered mine a couple of days ago. No RIF in mine which might be a blessing. But I REALLY want the 4 sets of PPS Shell ejection shells, those things are rare as hens teeth! Need to know if my new XM26 even works!

Wgc have them for about 60 quid. That includes the handguard and the pistol grip.

Decided to grab a new scope. The Vector Optics I got last year is a fixed scope (Didn't realise it at the time of ordering!) and the only adjustable zoom scope I have is a no name one that came with a JG SL8. So decided to go for a cheap Nikko Stirling Mountmaster Ao 3-09x40. Yeah, its probably not that much better then what I have. But I am hoping!
