Might as well get a quality barrel at the same time as you'll be mucking around that area anyway. A ZCI/AOLS 300mm would be a good start. AK2M4 have both. I find that the 50 degree softer buckings just don't work as well as the 60 degree ones and will match better with the genuine Omega nub in terms of hardness. There is nothing wrong with that Bulldog rifle, It's an SRC which, whilst not the best rifle you could have gotten for the money, is still skirmishable. It has a metal gearbox. A couple of upgrades, like the hop rubber and a better battery and I am sure it will be fine. It could brick itself, but then again most rifles brick themselves.

Apparantly the Krytac P90 has solved the P90 mag issue... But I don't know personally and it could be just hype. Mp5s can be had in many flavours. Just make sure you go for one with a decent hop unit and externals that can handle the gearbox vibration from moving the hop unit adjustment whilst firing. Galil. I got a buddy selling a Cyma one if that is of interest. I have no experience of Galils myself.

Mine had it's piston completely strip within 50 shots as well. This was because of poor QC not because the piston was particularly weak. Currently I have replaced the piston, barrel, hop rubber and mosfet to a Perun. The gearbox was pretty badly shimmed and a terrible motor.

I had the Cybergun F2000 when they first came out. Basically it's a JG AUG aside from the externals and magwell. 18RPS is achievable on 11.1v, But the internals aren't up to spec or set up to keep up with that ROF reliably without shedding the piston/gears/trigger contacts. Mine was pretty terrible out of the box. The barrel was shockingly bad. the Motor was frankly awful. I basically had to replace everything to get it even remotely decent. I eventually sold it in favour of the G&G F2000. It's OK. The ETU is overengineered as a simple mosfet like all Ares built rifles (Yes it's an Ares), but gives you very little in terms of configurability. The Hop unit is pretty pants and needs modification to lift heavier bb's. At the moment I have only replaced the barrel and hop rubber. I will be at least replacing the Motor in mine soon as Ares Stock Motors are awful and is essentially being bullied into performing by the mosfet. I do like my TM Aug High Cycle, However its almost unupgradable without replacing almost everything due to it's short stroked gears/high speed motor nature. Disconnect the EBB mechanism before it breaks. The AA's System is just as bad. Both AA and G&G have proprietary pistons which like to crap themselves fairly easy. Great externals, but I have had a couple of cut off levers break due to an inherently weak design whilst actuating the roughly cut sector cam, stock motor is terrible which I replaced. Interestingly enough the trigger unit works as a sort of mechanical mosfet. You'll need to mod the selector so it will fire single shot, the dual trigger just does not work reliably enough to not get kicked out of semi only games. It's terrible for your wallet. I own or have owned most airsoft bullpups so you don't have to. They all come with some inherent problems, usually proprietary parts which are pretty terrible, they all come with crap motors without exception and most have crap triggers. Ultimately you are welcome to purchase what you want, but you must have come here to acquire some knowledge. What would I get if I were you? TM Aug HC on the expectation that I wouldn't mod it and would be happy with its performance despite the lack of FPS. What would I get if I were you out of what you have picked? Either the F2000 or the Aug, they are essentially the same inside with the same issues, but not as bad as the L85. Beware of the F2000 mag compatibility. Mine was incredibly fussy even with Metal Stanag mags.

As a bullpup fan, all of your current rifles are on paper better then any of the bullpups you have posted. I recommend going for something much better if you want a bullpup, something with a electronic trigger to combat some of long trigger pull issues bullpups have.

TM AK102 EBB - what internals should be upgraded?
Asomodai replied to Spitfire_SVK's topic in Electric Guns
Upgrade to a new tightbore barrel first and see if that improves things enough for you. It's inexpensive to do and you don't have to muck around with the gearbox. Should give you a little FPS boost whilst you're at it. -
Hard to tell by the video if you are inserting it correctly. Cyma nozzles are transparent they aren't the always the best but they do last and my tech usually keeps them in rather then replace them.

Ambush have moved over the road to the old Delta Force Paintball site. The original owners of the site Ambush used to run over the road is called Campaign Airsoft, who run games once a month I think. Best get on Facebook for more info.

Have you considered a flash mag? Only requires a few pulls to get through at least half a mag, gets around the pain of using a drum mag in a bullpup

I would be putting all your effort into reversing the shipping rather then risk legal issues and the loss of all your money. Hoping on a wing and a prayer that a local site would give you membership despite not ever having played before and for Border Force to accept it is a real real long shot. Quite a bit at stake for just a toy rifle.

He wouldn't be able to become a member in time, most site memberships follow the UKARA model of three games in between 2 and 12 months.

You have to understand that the onus is on the buyer to make sure that overseas Retailers are made aware of the need for a defense written on a package. They don't have to accommodate any UK airsoft defense on their website. But really you should have done your research before you ourchased and to say you were ignorant of it is not going to save you in the eyes of the law, the information is literally plastered everywhere on UK Airsoft retailer sites, forums and Facebook groups. Before we left the EU there would be a good chance that it would have gotten through unscathed as Border Force only have the resources to stop pallets of shipments for random searches. Even if you had a UKARA number on the box, it would get seized (because the people doing the search on the ground are unlikely to know what a UKARA is and they wouldn't be able to check it's validity even if they did.) It would get reported and you get a destruction notice. You then need to contact them to ask them to check the UKARA number. Or prove that you're an Airsofter some other way (Regular skirmish receipts with your name and address on them etc). However UKARA is generally the only/easiest accepted defense in Border Forces eyes. However since we have left the EU, you will likely get the parcel tagged for Import fees, which means there is another opportunity other then random searches we had pre-brexit for it to get caught. At this point if it gets caught, it will get destroyed as you will be unable to prove any defense as you haven't played any airsoft let alone enough to be considered a regular. There is also a chance you can get fined and even potential time in custody (There is no precedent for it yet, but it's written into law as a possibility). If I were you I would be pleading with the Airsoft shop to do anything they can to get the rifle recalled ASAP for your own sake. Please think before you act next time, the more Airsoft rifles that get caught by people who import without a defense, the more it highlights Airsoft rifles as a problem in general, which could be used for nefarious purposes. Good luck

Hello all. I decided to part out my SL8. So I have this spare SHS One Piece Cylinder/Cylinder head with Sorbo installed, an SHS Piston 14 1/2 toothed piston which has had the rack epoxied. Maybe only had a 100 shots put through them. The Piston head is an SLD and all together the air seal is excellent. Price includes shipping.£20

Hello all. I decided to part out my SL8. So I have this here full body conversion kit for a G36. It's barely been used in any skirmish, however there are some things to note. There is a small hole in the side of the upper receiver, this was to force the gearbox into full auto to unlock if the trigger was spammed on semi(This was in a DMR build). There is a small peice of plastic missing on the pistol grip. Which is very common on SL8's. It does not affect function or form. Please see photos for other minor marks . This kit includes two top rails, the stock short one and the ultra long boi one which is pretty hard to get hold of. I would prefer this to be picked up, but I can ship at extra cost. I am away from the 23rd of November til the 30th of November. So any questions during those times will have quite a late reply.£70

Cheaply made *Army Armament pistols with fancy looking externals for Tokyo Marui money. *Allegedly

I always assume that the Rifle will need to be opened up at somepoint. I also have so many rifles all of which have been upgraded to a certain standard. This means that brand new rifles rarely get fielded until it's known weaknesses have been rectified and the gearbox radiused and shimmed correctly. This is to prolong it's life in the long run, especially if proprietary parts are involved.

One old gent I have played with is in his late 60's. If they start affecting other peoples game/become a proven insurance liability to the site then they should probably stop. Otherwise it's no ones business.

Cheers gents. This just sold.

Yeah. I bought my Real Sword T97 from them. It got stuck in customs Pre-Brexit which was not their fault. They communicated very well, though ultimately their English was not good enough to help with Border Force so I had to step in. Overall they are legit and helpful.

I am actually self isolating for the next 10 days as I head off to Cape Verde for some 27 degree sunshine on the 23rd. I'll be damned if I get sick for it. I have been feeling generally low and meh for the past week. But probably to do with the travel vaccinations I had in one hit. Two weeks after we come back we go to Paris, going Army Surplus hunting (Don't tell the wife I fully intend to come back with three full sets of uniform, F2 Dageut, F1 Olive and F2 CCE). Hope you feel better bud.
