Ajax reacted to Krisz in G&G LevAR 15
True. That's why I don't understand Wolverine. They made an hpa engine which shoots 8 bb's out of one barrel and they are gonna put into that John Wick shotgun. It's still burst it doesn't matter what skin they put on it.

Ajax got a reaction from Airsoftt in Lambda Defence GHM9-G
Hi All
I found this weird thing Lambda Defence GHM9-G on the internet and it looks very interesting.
I was tempted with Maruyama SCW9 but it takes only VFC mags where this one seems to take WE/KJ/TM.
Is Lambda Defence a solid choice? have not heard of them as a manufacturer of replicas.
Any views/opinions?

Here is the only place I could find that stocks alternate barrels. Would be nice if we can turn it into a PCC.

As being a bit of a B&T fan boy I've got one on pre order. Will let you know how it is when it turns up. And also liking Glocks I've got plenty of mags to use with it which saves buying more.

It’s cheap and cheap for a reason BUT I think it could be a good little goer.
Lambda usually make rails, MK48 parts etc so your correct this is their first replica.
HRC discord should have some info on it soon enough…hopefully it’s as good as the maruyama, even if it is fucking ugly.

I wouldn't worry so much about the M-Lok as that gopping stock but each to their own.

Ajax got a reaction from war22air in WE PDW rubber recoil buffer replacement
yes, I ended up cutting it out of PU - if feels similar to G39 stock buffer so hope it will work.
Also I made it bit higher to match the length of recoil spring end cap as I have heard that because stock buffer is shorter if can cause recoil spring end cap to crack.

Ajax got a reaction from war22air in WE PDW rubber recoil buffer replacement
Hi.
My rubber recoild buffer has crumbled and I need to replace it. Can't find any places online where this element would be available and even in the manual it is not specified separately.
So need to make my own.
Now what material could I use?
Do you have any advice what easily available material I can buy to cut the recoil buffer?
Thank you.

I love visiting Poland, to find a shop with my exact size DNC UBACS and Trousers and the exact size DNC Windrunners for my bestest battle buds.
Sadly couldn't find any Maskpol Mapa Boonies and BDU jacket. But you can't have it all!

Ordered some rubber (65 hardness) and PU (60 hardness) was thinking about silicone pads (50 hardness) but worried that it would be too soft). Will update on results

Scratch build Maynard rifle built from steel. Fires madbull shells.
Real thing was a civil war breech loaded rifle used by the confederacy.
Heat and oil blued.

My little creation. Since I couldn't find the metal G&P rail kit I improvised to make M11a1 as useful as possible still maintaining slim shape (that is why there are no side rails).
Used it last weekend and it was cracking fun.
It is bit of a ugly duckling and won't be everyone's taste but it works perfectly for me and it is Daddy's Lil Monster

Hmmm, I think I did see a video about this on YT quite recently, but I'd also have to say it feels a bit moot. BB's don't travel in quite the same trajectory as real bullets, because of the hop. They tend to fly 'flat-flat-flat-up-(and then straight down)' or 'flat-flat-flat-down'. So really the calculation only makes sense if you have no hop applied, and are using a pure ballistic trajectory. At 'proper' range (ie. at 30, 40, 50m out) the hop applied makes all the difference to how the BB behaves and the point of impact, and you'll be tuning that in the field.
I sight my guns in my garden at 15m, and it's all about the windage rather than elevation - making sure the barrel and sights are in line!
All the real work with tuning hop and sights can only be done once I can shoot out to 40m
Edit: found a blog page and the video...

You have to shout 'I am the law!' each time that you draw it.

Ajax reacted to Impulse in Cyma MP5 cm.041j high speed rear sling point
I personally wouldn't run a one point sling since I ran a one point sling with my Cyma mp5k and it snapped off as soon as I started running and it bounced around a bit. Can't say for sure on your one, but the mp5k rear sling loop is awful.

Ajax reacted to Hatchet in Cyma MP5 cm.041j high speed rear sling point
No experience with the Cyma, but MP5 sliding sling point in general should be fine, there's often a bit of movement, but it can't go anywhere. If you take the stock off you'll see that the sling loop is an L shape with the bottom part of the "L" trapped between the body and the stock mount. You might be able to take up the slack with a bit of electrical tape if it's rattling too much and bothering you.
The MP5k is a different story, not sure I'd be as confident with that.
You could also make sure your single point sling has some bungee in its design so it's not a hard stop if you drop the weapon.

Make it a patch.
In fact, new rule - all HPA users must wear Ghostbusters cosplay. It's basically ALICE webbing and grey coveralls so that's easy and they already have the proton pack.

And shortly after this showed up. Already had to make a sight mount for the Armson OEG within an hour of it arriving haha.
