    The portishead site is a lot smaller than the main site and neither he or any of his cronies ever go there , and it’s run really well by the small team that’s always there . Hence not a problem for me .

    There was a full wood kited L1A1 for sale a while back that had been two-toned . just let that sink in , the player had paid extra to have the wood kit fitted THEN had paid even more to get the same wooden kit painted puke green !

    Can’t argue with the horses mouth ! ? never seen one my self with a ris on it hence the disdain for the way it “simply ruins the looks !”? always thought the Ruski’s only ever used side mounts on older guns , so that didn’t help either ! ?‍♂️.?

    Really Really Really Really REALLY love the gun BUT in equal amounts dislike that scope and the RIS rails on it , just don’t look right to me .

    Nothing too dramatic but I managed to find a Italian army surplus Bianchi m12 ’type’ holster for 9 beer tokens . so I’m a happy chappy !?

    Obviously cant comment on the current stuff but I used to love my old zoot suit on exercise , a mate managed to ‘acquire’ a F’off big yank drop chute(was very similar to the USMC pacific camo)and the whole section chipped in to get a tailor near Sennelager to make over the head hoodies and trousers from it ! Still got the hoodie (not that it fits my fat frame anymore ?) ?

    Wondered what the hell a Cierzo shirt was so I googled it , now I know ! back in the days of DPM we used to call this kind of clothing made from nicked parachutes ‘zoot suits’ ! ?

    Gotta love a dreamer ? Just because you painted a hat instead of the run of the mill gun/tac gear abortion’s we usually see then I’m afraid to say my friend that this uniqueness still does NOT make it a ‘custom’ paint job , to qualify as said ‘custom’ paint job it still needs some curb appeal and or some finesse to it and not just look like you jizzed all over it with a rattle can ! ?‍♂️ awfully sorry .
