You won’t find Pencott in a surplus shop . as to what to wear if your field craft is up to scratch then quite frankly you can wear what ever color you want . A good 80% of the people you’ll come across on an open day haven’t a ‘Scooby do’ about it and the will literally walk right past a concealed player using even just the bare minimum of field craft skills !

What he said , I’m terrible at looking after my Batts , I’ve never set them for storage , they don’t get touch until the day before my next game day I alway put them on charge first then when it’s beeping full I THEN put them on to balance . Touch wood the only batteries I’ve had die on me what I’d say was prematurely are 9.9v LiFe I was using for a couple of yrs all the ‘normal’ LiPo’s have been fine .

Totally agree with this , really boils my piss when you see this especially on classified adds , “Only needs xyz part but doesn’t effect performance” well in that case get the fecking part and fix it then ! Also how can you say “doesn’t effect performance” if it’s an actual part and NOT just simply a bit of frippery bolted on to make the gun look more realistic ? if the manufacturers used it as part of the gun then odds are you probably do need it to be there for optimum performance ?🤦‍♂️ Or another favorite of mine is “needs xyz part only a couple of quid” yes the part is only a couple of quid BUT no one has the part in stock and it hasn’t been in stock for a very long time ! Recently came across a TM recoil AK with a busted selector for sale and the seller had said that exact thing , so having spent over 18mths trying to get one my self as there pretty much out of stock everywhere , I said so on the add as the guy was asking near new money for it because it could still fire full auto but no safe or semi and I felt he was trying to pass it on to some unsuspecting chump .

Now I do see this as a valid argument if your using your gun like a rental (gazillion sec bursts 😖) but I’ve come to my own conclusion that with ‘sensible’ use of the trigger pretty much all current AEG’s can use 11.1v Batts with no detrimental effect to them (only ones I’d agree with not using them in are TM Recoils)the ones we had yrs ago yes I do agree you where on your way to an implosion in a gearbox with a lot of brands back then but the AEG’s you buy these days are of a far superior quality compared to what you had even just 6+yrs ago ?

DE do actually recommend using 11.1v’s in them .

If I’m ‘weathering’ a plastic gun I use a flat silver and black paint pen , almost immediately after applying the paint I wipe off with kitchen paper and then take the rest that I want off with very fine grit wet’n’dry and wire wool . I also use this pic if I’m weathering an AK as a resource but it’s useful what ever long arm your aging .👍

Think it’s safe to say you can count on one hand the number of GOOD YouTube Airsoft channels as apposed to the utter click bait “look at me I’m so awesome as I shoot yet another unsuspecting airsofter in the head even though his entire body was visible with my ridiculous rate of fire/sniper/HPA/stupid FPS gun !” That makes you want to launch your IPad across the room in to the wall , BAD Airsoft YouTube channels ? 🤔

Saw this advert wasn’t sure from the description if it was actually working or not so asked the seller and basically he’s replied with “was told it was but if interested I can try getting it working again” SO he’s asking 60🦑 under the new retail price for a bolloxed gun ! 😳 So yea thinks Mack’s is the appropriate place for this ?🤦‍♂️

And in one fell swoop a comment that completely ignores all that have gone before ! 🤣🤣🤣 Me personally I’ve always felt unless a new gun is REALLY REALLY performing badly no matter how cheap or expensive it may be once it’s opened up you’ve started the countdown timer on it , near all ‘upgraded’ guns will die in the future it’s just a case when it’ll happen . Generally speaking most short comings of new guns can be overcome by improving your own in game skills and NOT just relying on the gun to have the longest range/ highest rate of fire or fastest trigger response , I’ve seen plenty of players dominate the game field with a shite rental or bottom end of the market AEG because they has the skills . Always have AND always will believe player skill will defeat expensive kit hands down every time no question.

He’s selling two guns that together barely break a grand new yet the ONLY justification he gives for asking three grand is “both fully upgraded” that’s it ! 😳
