  1. There have been several recent posts that have links to Tactical Kit, so it does have relevance.
  2. I take it that he is okay and did not do too much damage. I have taken a mis-step and few times and fallen over but luckily no harm done except to my pride.
  3. It does sound seem counter-intuitive; I would expect the difference in accuracy to be between supported and unsupported. The stable position v one where you have more strain/muscle fatigue/movement. Is your magazine resting on the ground when lying prone causing a possible rocking motion. Unless your eye relief and hold is different between positions.
  4. Oh yes. Often need a burst of speed to cross an area or move to a shop/staircase ahead of the other team. I normally let the youngsters run off prefering a more steady pace, although an incoming stream of BBs is encouragment to haul arse. However, there are a lot of glass windows to avoid running into, and the C&A escalators can be very slippery.
  5. Just do it, the sooner you go the sooner you can start playing. Many of us started out solo but make that initial effort and it is worth it. Most airsofters are friendly and will talk to you and show you the ropes and talk about the game. Do not be intimitadated by their guns and kit just talk to them, we all started out as new players. One key point - take your hits, regardless. And have fun.
  6. OK, I will bite. What is LBX? A quick google search comes up with Japanese cardboard and plastic toy robots, are these going to be used as targets? No idea what LBT is, lesbian, bisexual and transsexual? Or are they something provided by Tactical Kit, if so some context and a link might help.
  7. Very artisitc with the wet background, and hopefully they will not rust. A great collection.
  8. Unless the TV companies get involved and we have quality multi-angle footage and slow-mo re-plays of the action. Although more likely It's a Knockout style than Match of the Day
  9. The basement and service corridors can be a great place to move around and get behind people once you work out where to go. ImTriggerHappy taught me some of that at The Mall. Playing with just a pistol I had to keep moving as I was outgunned in a firefight so needed to be more stealthy. The surprise worked fairly well except lack of comms with others on the team so could not co-ordinate anything. Of course the other side was doingthe same and I was caught in the wrong place not checking behind me near respawn as well. Look forward to any more footage of the day because it means something to me, but like most things you needed to be there.
  10. That looks about the right place if it was the last game of the day. I could not see myself in the darkness of the shop, we had a marshal standing inside with us. Nice to see some of the days filming though, it looks different on screen probably due to the camera having a clear field of view.
  11. Back towards Zombie barricade end, central, and I think it was a bearded player who was trying to gain entry not realising we had come in the back.
  12. So we were on the same team, we must have seen each other, I was one of only two players in all grey. During that game I was just using a pistol and I was down the C&A end coming up behind the Oranges in the service corridor. At one point myself and another player had just cleared a shop opposite Peacocks only to get fragged by a grenade thrown in through the front door by a Green.
  13. Yes, you are correct, I just tried a search on HPA and it only gave about 8 results because the post had HPAs, etc. So the * is not a blank after all, and we are back to the original issue.
  14. Now that we have the wildcard * (astericks) to fill in missing character(s) there should be no excuse not to find "mp5*" or "hpa*" Edit: initial enthusiam deflated on realising that this will not work for only 3 characters
  15. Thanks Nutster. Using a wildcard, so 20th Century. Simple and it works Edit: As Proffrink has pointed out, this still does not allow a 3 character search
  16. It was the first time that I have been on a winning side for most the games. I counted about 70 of us there so with less players there was definately more freedom of movement around the site and that made for some interesting play and much less corridor/stairwell camping.
  17. It was a good day, seemed a friendly atmosphere today and I did not experience anyone not taking their hits. Possibly because it was less crowded. The Terminator was a pain as I was hosed down by him a few times, although he did light up one of the back stairs to help me safely return to respawn. Had the opportunity to say hello to SeniorSpaz87, Lafta and Hagar66. Did not get to meet anyone else who was there.
  18. Could always start a new thread for "What are you being driven in?"
  19. You can very quickly fog up, so still not a practical solution because even after 5 minutes you could need to go back to safe zone and to swap over goggles. Edit: snap, I will need to type faster.
  20. The question of eyepro is a recurring one, and many of us have experienced goggles / masks fogging up and have tried various ideas to get the best solution. Do a search on "fogging" and "mesh" and read through the threads, there will be some useful information contained therein. I am not so keen on mesh because of the shadow caused which effects how much I can see, but they obviously do not fog up. I have a pair of Kingrin Locusts which are kept in my bag as back-up: http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/kingrin-desert-locusts-goggles-steel-mesh-model-black I prefer the full face Dye i4 mask with thermal lens and a fan kit which works well for me but is not to everyones liking or budget: http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/28885-dye-i4-mask/?hl=fogging As a former paintballer, what did you use and do you still have any masks? They would work, and the Dye i4 is sold as a paintball mask.
  21. They are hot and sweaty to wear and will not fully seal with a beard but I never experienced problems with one fogging up, even during strenuous exercise, due to the design. You can remove the canister, or even the inside of the canister to allow more air without the filter hindering it. The built-in drinking straw is also a handy feature. Field of vision will be reduced compared to the Bolle goggles, less peripheral view and aiming takes some practice and getting used to. You can get an insert for presciption lens, I had a pair in mine and meant that it was easier to see the targets and hit them. I have not used one for airsoft only real world. Not sure that I would want to play in one for long but for short periods of time it could work. It would look more authentic than other masks.
  22. I am not a fan of key mod rails, esthetically speaking, but I do like the quirkiness of the SDP (although I would have to attach a flashlight to the top rail). http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/krytac-krytac-trident-sdp-p4372 This Krytac Trident PDW could be a contender too, and apparently 320fps out the box: http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/krytac-krytac-trident-pdw-p4371
  23. I have no first hand knowledge about other brands, only had TM, so you will need forum members to give you some advice. Unfortunatley the forum search has minimum 4 character length, so cannot search on 'KSC' but you can try 'g18c' or similar.
  24. Reply is in your other thread - re extended magazines. Follow link: http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/29416-magazines/#entry226115
