  1. Think that is opposite of dust setting, opening up the lens to get more air flow lets in the dust Taking out any foam does help a little.
  2. Yep, taking hits and walking back to regen is how I keep fit. And learn the site.
  3. A-TACS FG clothing is sold by other sites but unfortunately not UK Tactical. I would like to see more A-TACS LE kit on offer.
  4. As opposed to storming in like a Wildman get hit by everyone and walk away with a grimace as they chuckle (again).
  5. Well sir, if you fancy a wager, shall we say a Guinea, that Deebo will be hit more often than Shortman?
  6. Could be meant for New Year's Eve, in which case the discount code is not valid until 31 December?
  7. Deebo, he would just hit you with his sarcasm
  8. I misread that as a chain on your balls! Would hear you jingling
  9. Not received that email from them yet Normally all the discount codes contain a word and figures, i.e. EVERYTHING10, WARRIOR20.
  10. Alternately just buy any old crane stock batteries and then ask for help on getting a new rifle butt to fit them, it is a favourite question that Mr Duck likes to answer
  11. It is grim up north but cheaper to live.
  12. I think that it is normal to spend hundreds on kit, although often it is not necessary or essential kit. Just something that caught your eye or thought would be useful until you find something newer/better/suitable. That is the danger of looking at airsoft websites/eBay and browsing, it is so tempting to buy stuff. Kit is also purchased once you realise that something would improve/suit your game, or because you play at different venues. I must admit that I have a drawer full of random bits and pieces I collected and no longer need or have replaced with something better. I have a cheap black Viper assault vest, one of the first items I bought, and while it is not tacticool or Gucci it actually does the job very well of holding mags, torch, batteries, spare BBs, speed loader, suppressor, or whatever you want to carry securely in the built in pouches and is my go to item for down in UCAP Bunker. Outside I like my chest rig. Alternately, I also just use my jacket and trouser pockets for simplicity. All very much personal preference and budget. We all have our own idea of what is necessary. For me it is gloves and Fast helmet (stops painful head shots in CQB and hitting head on things), sling and torch. Edit: Remember that most players are older and have disposable income to spend on their kit, so it not necessarily "showing off" just what they can afford.
  13. I should be there as well. All in grey - Pentagon jacket, UBACs style top, and trousers. Black Fast helmet with green AFUK, "Jedi Master", and "Chav Hunter" patches. Dye i4 mask, dark blue. HK 416 and Mk23 pistol.
  14. UK Tactical sell the Warrior covert plate carrier in black http://www.uktactical.com/p-11505-covert-plate-carrier-mk1-black.aspx for £85, although they currently have a 20% discount.
  15. At least it would hide that horrible whine that many guns have, and for a milsim would give the game more realism. It is a very different experience to have contact with the enemy when using blank 5.56 rounds during training or exercise, gives better understanding to 'going loud'.
  16. Missed the USD part. Even though NZD gives better exchange rate, it is still an expensive extra. The size is also a bit too large for my liking, no doubt necessary for the acoustic effect but I would prefer a smaller box to attach to a side rail if I bought one. Still a better idea than using a drone.
  17. If it is 600 New Zealand Dollars [believe that they are a NZ company ?] then that makes the Ballistic Ordinance Sound System GS203-A1 approximately £276. But if US Dollars then £400+. It makes it a specialist piece of kit and unlikely to be for mainstream airsoft when many have guns worth much less. Edit: depends on UK retailer mark up, etc, how much the unit will actually cost. Ear protection could also be required.
  18. Not really sure what you mean by raider, but a pirate patch will look menacing What looks better is subjective, but for eyepro I base it on what works best and offers real protection. I use a full face mask, Dye i4, and move just as quickly with on that as with goggles, and after a slight modification fits nicely under my black Fast helmet. Cannot advise on plate carriers (they add excess weight), but for really a minimal low drag load-out I just use the pockets in trousers and jacket for some skirmish games instead wearing a battle belt/assault vest/chest rig.
  19. Not quite sure what you mean by "the best" pistol. Best is very subjective. For me that means a gas efficient and silent pistol, i.e. Tokyo Marui Mk23, which is perfect for stealthy CQB. Others may prefer the sound of a loud 'clack' and feel of a gas blow pistol, or just one that looks good, or is cheap. Alternately by best you could buy a TM Hi Capa 5.1 pistol that has been modified (upgraded) by Mike Cripps from the Elite Shooting Centre http://www.eliteshootingcentre.co.uk/ Maybe best is one that you find comfortable to hold based on hand size or compactness.
  20. 5. Throw away the 0.12g BBs, they are for non-airsoft toy BB guns. The lightest weight used is 0.20g BB, which most sites use as the standard for fps measurement. I started off using 0.20g BBs but get better range with my TM changed to slightly heavier ASG Blaster 0.25g BBs, found them to be a good weight and very cost effective. For example, Patrol Base sell a bottle of 3000 x 0.25g BB for £6.99 http://patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-bbs
  21. Bit harsh. He may be a muppet but it is not the same as grooming and raping young girls like a Rochdale taxi driver or commiting acts of terrorism.
  22. Yes! I am a real UK Tactical groupie. A real pity that I do not get commission, but it is good to share the discounts. Some of their offers are good value and the kit is quality, especially the Warrior Assault Systems.
  23. There was a market research question in relation to drones in airsoft back in October http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/28663-market-resaerch-in-relation-to-education-drones-in-airsoft/ Which received a mixed reaction to the idea. Personally, a stupid idea.
