The issue for many isn't his feedback, its his usually absurd claims on what he's selling versus RRP, many of which have been disproven. Plus almost everything he sells he claims is new, but isn't prepared to offer any warranty. & if he's only taking f&f or bank transfer, that's a massive 🚩 if you end up with a 🍋.4 points -

I think what he means is how you applied AI to your gun pic, is it just an AI generated pic of how you would like your gun to look, or have you used it for something more technical, such as generating files for a 3d printer that then produced the item ? Obviously i understood entirely, im just asking for a friend 😉3 points

Not that I think this will last long without the Rule 5 picture but it's rather optmistic pricing. 8 mags would be around £400 at retail, without the mod being done. The seller hasn't specified the generation of Glock 17. Does the seller think he's being generous by offering to include the original furniture when he's charging above retail for what I assume is the M4 CQBR as the base?3 points

Any pics I post are always a bit naf so trying something a little different. Don't really have a 'studio' area I can use & don't fancy trudging up & down stairs to utilise the garden (esp in a wet & windy Scotland) or the tiled flooring in my conservatory so my mancave floor will have to do. Honest opinions on the simple carpet background please...2 points -

That is not what they are doing; they are building structures to create CQB areas. While I am critical of the way the site has been developed, I am objective enough to recognise that they are trying to do the best they can with it according to their view of what the site should be. However, in their position, I would be very concerned about the dwindling attendance and trying to find out why it is happening.2 points -
Looks terrible, send them to me and I'll take high grade quality photos of them for you... Start with the F90 😉😏 Looks good though, and lets it be the main focus without having any clashing from the background because it's a nice plain colour 👍1 point

Beware that the G&G has a slightly larger (or smaller, I forgot...) dovetail, so some rails won't fit great. For example, the Airsoft Artisan LEI rail sits higher than it should BUT clamps down fine anyway1 point
-
Airsoft artisan makes one. AntSupplies sell one for £60. EnglishKiwi Airsoft sells one too. This is a rail replacement rather than an adapter. Easy to do but be aware before buying. I'm pretty sure there are 3D print files out there. There are some B&T branded rails around (I have one) but I can't seem to find them anymore. Edit: I've got one of the EnglishKiwi ones spare if you'd like it. Just drop me a PM.1 point

For reluctant sale is my GHK Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS Cerekoted. This comes with the upgraded BFA steel slide, steel outer barrel and steel recoil spring from WCG shop and I have to say it’s the closest to the real steel than any other airsoft glock I’ve used. With the CO2 mag, the kickback is insane! Im selling as it’s been sat in a case and I just can justify keeping it anymore. Would rather someone have some fun with it. If you know Umarex GHK Glocks then you know that the stock trigger system is very strange and doesn’t pull well and sticks, unlike most Airsoft pistols. Thankfully this has the 4UANTUM trigger upgrade and performs much better with a crisper pull. It also has the 4UANTUM precision hop chamber and high performance bucking. Since I’ve owned it it’s only had around 20 mags put through it for target shooting. Internally it’s in near new condition. Externally it has a few light scratches from holster use. Included: - GHK G17 Gen 5 MOS - BFA Steel MOS Slide with steel mounting plate screws. - BFA steel outer barrel. - BFA steel recoil spring. -BFA steel RMR mounting plate. -Umarex CO2 mag. - Umarex GBB mag. - Original Slide kit with recoil spring. - 4UANTUM Custom Trigger. - 4UANTUN Precision Hop Chamber. -High performance bucking. -Glock case. - X300v clone torch with STROBE. I have the original box for this which is included in sale, has adaptors for different pistols. It’s had over £500 spent on it so I think £400 plus postage is a fair asking price. Happy to send additional pics and a video of the pistol. Pls ask. cheers for looking!400.00 GBP

To be honest, there was resistance and I figured "fuck it" and pushed it all the way in so... If it feels like it's going to get stuck, don't 😂 I read the TM Gen 4 was 1:1 but I'm not sure if that's a new or old model? Curious if there is any actual 1:1 Glock 17 Gen 4 models that are also good performers? I assume the VFC G17 G4 would be 1:1?1 point

First RIF Opinions?
Joesif reacted to Gunboat Diplomat for a topic
Reviews for the Freya are generally very good. A guy at my local site has one and has no complaints with it. He's changed the barrel and bucking in his, but by his own account that is in chasing the last few % of accuracy rather than any shortcomings with the stock items. I think he plays Sat and Sun every single weekend so his certainly gets used. I don't think you can go too far wrong with that choice. I'll also vouch for Double Eagle though along with @WildBoneZ. My first gun was an M906C and up until the last month had been my only one for the last two years. No end of abuse and never let me down.1 point -

Had a few deliveries today, here's a before & after... Cheap stock is a bit wobbly but waiting for one from our classifieds, LPVO is a temp fixture until a reasonably priced clone 'Optics suite L900A1' arrives on the market (planning on it going on my Ugr-i eventually). A similar reason for the Mawl-1, it'll be relaced by an LLM3 once a decent 3D printed or clone is available. After all that... the Magpul foregrip is pucka.1 point -
Hi @Joesif When I got back into airsoft after approx. 10 year hiatus I grabbed myself one of these Double Eagle - M923G DEX556 AEG | Patrol Base UK upgraded the hop and slapped on some attachments and away I went! I think they are pretty decent for the money and a great "starter" I mostly play CQB so a TM Mp7 was always on the cards and its what I run 90% of the time but I still have the M923G as a back up or if I bring a friend along. my advice is whatever you get, learn basic maintenance and it will keep you in the game more and the safe zone less!1 point

RIP to the SCAR, FN Ceased Production.
Cannonfodder reacted to Mtemprell for a topic
The issue was fn had no real military interest in the scar and the only was acquired by SF units. Even then the us socom units soon removed it from their inventory as most soldiers didn't like it as much as had a more higher failure rate to the M4 platforms used. So fn discontinuing it i understand why. Luckily this won't effect Airsoft production as there will always be a need for it as a Airsoft gun.1 point -

The 'How Did Your Airsoft Day Go? Thread
Jacob Wright reacted to Gunboat Diplomat for a topic
Visited Finmere Airsoft for the first time this weekend to take part in one of their Chaos and Control days, a long objective lead day rather than your usual skirmish. Milsim-lite I guess you could call it. First notable point before the day of the event even came around was the great communication with the organisers. I posted a quick question via their ‘Contact Us’ link but got a swift answer and then welcome into their larger WhatsApp group to discuss game day specifics or ask for technical help. Even got sent a PDF with the game objectives and rules, site map and walkthrough video in advance of the day so everyone should know what they are doing. Really well organised and not something I’ve seen before. Arrived at the site an a rainy Sunday morning. The site itself is a fairly typical woodland affair with a long central access road bisecting it into two distinct halves. Safe zone is right in the centre, they have a mix of seating and tables, most undercover from the worst of the elements. Small tuck shop, supplies and a lone portaloo which was remarkably clean. Game area features some nice set pieces like a prop submarine, crashed airplane and some other abstract structures that could really be anything. Gameplay for the day were two 2-hour long domination rounds with five control points spread around the map for capture and control. Capture involved the usual flag raising plus starting your team’s stopwatch at the control point to start accumulating points. Each team’s spawn had an area map that you could mark POIs on and a radio. The radio allowed you to get in contact with the ‘drone operator’ to get intel and/or call in airstrikes or chemical weapons on certain positions. I’m guessing this isn’t anything new but it was the first time I’ve played anything like this and I had a great time playing Battlefield Commander with my rifle propped up in the corner of spawn and picking places on the map to drop imaginary ordinance. Another new one for me was their dead rule. You get 3 lives with the first 2 hits requiring you to be revived, but whilst injured you are allowed (and expected) to call out info to your team. Creates an interesting dynamic where a downed man can sometimes be the pivotal part of a firefight as he calls out enemy movements to the survivors. On your 3rd hit you are fully dead, then it’s the usual silent walk back to spawn. Other notable points of the day were zero moaning or bitching about hit calling, randoms happy to and actively looking to team up to do objectives, everyone generally very laid back and some guy brought a bag full of apples from his garden. All in all a great addition to our roster of local sites so will be going there again soon.1 point -
You lend guns to mates. once they pay for something you need to supply a service and unless you have a contract what happens to your guns is your problem. This sort of thing is the reason friendship ends. If you loan some one a gun you either have to not care if it breaks or trust your friend enough that they will do right by you.1 point
