You don’t need to pay through your PayPal account necessarily. If the merchant accepts credit/debit cards you can do a chargeback through the card issuer. If a single item you are purchasing is over £100 it’s better to use a credit card as you get the additional protection of Section 75. In this case it’s better to NOT go through your PayPal account as it can invalidate the use of Section 75. This explains it better than I can - https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/PayPal-Section75/1 point -

Their stuff will definitely cost more than it should, given the extra steps it must go through with businesses in Japan that must exist purely to bulk buy and then export it, probably having to jump through many hoops along the way. But with most of the products they last so long and perform so well vs the competition I'm honestly more than fine with that I would have to say (that's just my opinion of course). And sometimes the prices aren't even high. F-S had 5.1 Hi-Capas on sale a few months ago for, iirc, £99, which is the price of a lot of more budget pistol brands and the TM 5.1 is arguably the most effective/efficient GBB pistol out of the box that exists. It'll be interesting to weight this offering up vs the autobot once the price is known and I think for a lot of people the battery options with favour the Evike offering, but as I mentioned earlier I've not personally loved the Odin M12 for my own purposes and my absolutely ancient TM 556 mag manual loader is still what I use the most at the moment. This loader could finally usurp my old manual and see use every game for me personally, though given that I always use mid caps I'd still keep the manual in the bottom of the old gear bag just in case.1 point

What have you just 3d printed (for airsoft)
ButcherBill reacted to ParHunter for a topic
I had to google that stock 😉 I was thinking of using a spring and a bolt to lock it in place but I am trying not to over-engineer it if possible. I will try with a 'latch' that snaps into place but that you can easily unhook (but still fixed enough not to get unlatched.1 point -

What Rifles are available
Tactical Pith Helmet reacted to Impulse for a topic
I have one and I use the Wolverine Wraith X system on my MTW 308. It allows me to use a 13ci air tank with a sleeve over the tank, or a co2 adapter that appears just like a buffer tube, so I have a repro CTR stock on it and it looks just like a regular rifle (though in this picture I haven't screwed the co2 adapter on all the way!) There's also the Wraith Aero stock, which is the older Wolverine air stock and I don't think it's as good, and also the Polarstar UGS. For co2 stocks there's the Mancraft co2 stock and the Polarstar CGS as well. I will, however, echo the previous sentiments. A well-tuned AEG will perform just as good as a well-tuned HPA system, it's just easier to tune an HPA system than an AEG to that level. The main benefits of HPA is the sound signature as while you can get AEGs to be pretty quiet, they can't match HPA on just how silent they can become. Also, the lack of a line and tank is mostly useful if you're like me and tend to crawl through bushes and move through thick foliage a lot, as I found that an external line would get caught on absolutely everything, and also if you're very choosey about your shots. I usually play (gas) bolt action and I tend to use my MTW in exactly the same way, so an air tank only giving me about 700ish shots is absolutely fine for a game day, and with my setup I tend to get 1 magazine out of 1 co2 bulb, so if I'm reloading magazine, I'm reloading co2 bulb at the same time and vice versa (I removed the buttplate from the repro CTR stock so that I could easily access the co2 so changing it over is pretty easy). Also, since I use my MTW 308 as a DMR, it's useful for that because sites have different DMR limits. I'm fortunate that the two sites that are closest to me being Worthing Airsoft and Driver Wood both have the same 1.88J DMR limit, but I just went to AI500 this past weekend and their DMR limit is only 1.48J, same with Gunman sites, so having the ability to quickly tune the power down if I'm visiting another site is very handy. However with quick change springs in AEGs nowadays it's pretty easy to also do that with AEGs.1 point -
Either MTW Wraith or Polarstar CGS. I don't know about any other system that lets you carry a hpa tank in the stock. That line is only annoying if you have to climb through bushes, crawling a lot etc. Otherwise million solutions out there to fix it to your rig and make it more rigid.1 point

Is this the MTW Wraith, with a small bottle in the stock (it's only good for 500 to 1,000 shots though before you have to refill / swap it out). A very well setup AEG will be just as good as HPA though, so what you gain with HPA is the reduced noise and variability of power depending upon sites (so if you always play at the same few sites your AEG is probably already setup for them).1 point

Toxicant MWS RATTLER (extras)

- As new
As the title states: I’m selling my beloved MCX rattler by Toxicant. Included will be the entire RIF, fully functioning, a CANEBRAKE style suppressor, (as well as the CANEBRAKE handguard included, ontop of the rattler handguard on the RIF in the images) the original muzzle device, a repro unity light mount/button, repro scout light mini, a HOLY WARRIOR eotech, a sig collapsing stock, and a Toxicant Folding stock. (not pictured ) will be shipped INSIDE its original case. These are fairly rare in the UK, as HM customs likes to fight you, and then bill you for the pleasure, meaning a brand new, non functioning kit will cost you considerably more than I’m charging for this entire package. Never fielded, only wall-hung and fired in the garden, makes a fantastic noise, and runs amazingly on full-auto due to the lightweight bolt and fantastic machining. I am not in a massive rush to sell this, as I still love the RIF. The included hop nub/rubber/arm are all stock, so only hop up to .3s. Swapping any or all should comfortably push .4s all day. Collection near Brighton preferred, but can be posted at buyers expense!£750

Deleted and reposted with a further reduction. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/cm16-preditor_i68742 No mention of the "£400 of upgrades" or that it was done by Bomb Up Airsoft any more, just a "what you see is what you get" without saying if the PEQ box is functional or not or being specific about the trigger.1 point

That's my favourite activity. Soon as I hit 30 I started referencing the 00s to anyone young enough as if I were reminiscing on WW1. Looks like they show it here.
