A bit late. Attended the Armageddon night game after BZFest on Saturday 1st. Sadly I only stayed half the event as the only gun I brought decided to throw it's toys out of the pram and do just about everything wrong after 2 games: no feeding, double feeding, firing 6ft, firing normally rinse and repeat. When stripping it down the check the hop out, I lost the screw to my receiver pin. The person I went with borrowed me theirs from their main rifle which had also developed issues and wasn't useable but it was no use, the gun decided it didn't want to play anymore and despite my best efforts, would not work. What's worse, I normally bring a spare gun, tools and parts but I hadn't brought anything! The event itself was good and pizza was even provided by the site owners! Turn out was good with about 30-ish people and for the two games I did get to play, the level of play was very good. Lots of pyro and smokes were used. Photographer was even on site and his pictures are quality. A particularly memorable moment for me was sitting in a bush with an angle on our flag, hoping to catch an enemy out as they went to raise it. After a while I went to change position as I was slowly being out-flanked, the second I raised my head I got twatted right in the helmet by a single BB. There was a sniper on the enemy team who was particularly good and it wasn't the first time he got me and I had no idea where from.

I really don’t know why nearly every single thread you insist on saying Guarder are difficult to fit or have major QC issues , they simply don’t . 15yrs ago they did ,but then nearly everything did , even your premium brands like Prime but even then it was very minor fettling if you knew what to look for . if you are struggling with these basic parts to fit and function properly I suggest hanging up the tools and sticking with stock guns to avoid further worry or simply pay someone capable of doing the work for you . just my 2p 👍🏼2 points -

Nothing too exciting but I wanted to give a shout out to CMAirsoft. They have 20% off site-wide sale and I was due a restock anyway so I spent a bit of cash. A day or two later I get an email saying that they're sorry but one of the owners is away on holiday and they can't process the order until he's back. They couldn't apologise enough and were ready to refund the order. I wasn't that bothered about waiting so I told them to leave it and just dispatch it when they could. The package arrives today and I find that they've given me a bottle of 0.32g and 0.25g BBs, a rifle sock and two lollies for free The sale is still live at the time of writing so go snag yourself some consumables with a decent chunk of change off.

I would get an E&C shell. It's QD and from the same manufacturer, so should be a drop-in fit for the receiver. As an owner of many ICS M4s with split gearboxes - it's a nice feature to have - IF the gun was designed from the outset for it. However, it's certainly not a strong enough feature to justify spending a big chunk of cash on a mere gearbox casing.2 points -

Somewhat redundantly. If there's no negligence, there's little prospect of a claim succeeding. The waiver doesn't do that, the informed acceptance of specific unavoidable risks does. These are two different things. The usual waffle about unconditionally absolving the site of any liability is just wasted words. I'd rather they used that space be more specific about risks, and who is responsible for mitigating them, phrased as "We will" and "You will". Passive voice introduces ambiguity. For example: Before entering the safe zone, you will remove the magazine from all your guns including pistols, fire shots into the ground until they are clear, and present them for inspection if asked. If this sounds unnecessarily pedantic, it's because it doesn't matter, until it really matters, and suddenly what's plain as a pikestaff to the plaintiff's lawyer is utter balderdash to the defendant's. For an example of getting it wrong, one of my locals says "If you show up in trainers or unacceptable footwear, you will not be permitted to play." Daft thing to say, as it creates a duty of care on the site that didn't previously exist. 🤦♂️1 point -

Hi all I won't beat around to much, live in lincolnshire, 38, Have Airsoft a few years ago for a little while, enjoyed it but noticed I wanted more of a milsim environment and team work. Take thinks serious automatically at the right times. New parts from Ak2m4 came in this morning, fitted the new cylinder (full seal) etc and all okay. The nozzle doesn’t fully reach the hop up rubber still (I did however buy a spare longer nozzle just in case) On chrono I was getting 1.36 joules roughly (.25g bb’s) so about 355 (I think. I’ve forgotten 🤣) Still not 100% perfect, but I’m going to run it this weekend and see if it’s shooting nicely or definitely needs the new nozzle. Thanks everybody for their help so far!1 point

Me again, but I bought something over the weekend that I wasn't expecting to because I couldn't say no to it. Guess the rest of the hi-capa build will have to be done next month instead 😂 PPS Kar98k. Came with 4 mags, 1 is leaking so I'll get that all fixed up. Coming with me to the upcoming Vietnam filmsim as the mags fit perfectly in my SKS chicom. Hop rubber is also knackered, so I've got a Flamingo bucking on the way and figured I'd stick a Maple Leaf Crazy Jet barrel in it as well while I'm in there, so those are on the way.
