  1. Another denix conversion to mad bull shells. The darker one is a KTW which has a fake wood body and the other is the denix.

    Two tone

I'm always tempted to get some ridiculously performing M4A1 and two tone it intentionally. Turn up with one of those sensei mesh masks and a viper LA Swat vest over a hoody for the ultimate sleeper Loadout.

  4. I think we lack a thread for the more creative and technical side of things like homemade accessories and 3D printing/CAD. So... what have you made? Or, are making right now? Can be anything from cutting and filing some mask to suit you, to more grandiose projects like making your own ghillie suit, or some 3D CAD model of yet another M4 handguard. Concepts and ideas are cool too if you have something to visualize it. I guess I'll start: Made a lightweight outer barrel for an M4 from scratch in fusion360: Gonna make a lightweight handguard to pair with it and then print them both in a bronze/copper finish. Dramatic weight losses inc.

    Two tone

To echo everyone above, no one will care... you see a few two tones at most games and no one bats an eyelid. Having said that my brother did ask me the same thing on his first outing (with his own TT gun) - I bought him these.... super cheap, self adhesive, no residue, he rocked the same piece until he got his club membership. > clicky

    Gun picture thread

Been working on converting my TM m14 into an m21 and all the externals are now in and installed (though I will likely put a suppressor on instead of the flash hider because I like suppressors). Still need to fit the internals to upgrade the power and accuracy to DMR levels and I am no tech, so we'll see how that goes. Also, stock cyma m14 with imitation wood stock below, for Vietnam games (and because it was cheaper and easier than getting a replacement stock for the TM). Will have to remove the magpuls though for that

On any private land to which you can obtain access with the express permission of the landowner. Please, please, for your sake and ours, don't go full Bush Wookie in the nearest thicket, or some farmer's lower field. Just go and play at the nearest proper airsoft site. Nobody will give a fraction of a half of a stuff if you're rocking day glo green IFs.

No no no, none of the above, only play insured recognised sites, sure two tones suck, but criminal records suck more. If you don't want to stand out at a site, mask the bright parts of your gun with a suitable camo tape, therefore you won't have broken any laws, & once your 18, you can spray it legally. Edit. Rocketdogbert pipped me by 5 seconds, obviously I'm not say disregard his post, just no playing in public places etc

    What have you made?

Wow, lovely stuff. Props, or with shootable internals? I guess I'll re-shill my Imperial Guard kit since @Musica bumped the Load Out page 30 seconds after I posted it there. The helmet is just a MICH that needs some work. The armour and gun shell (around a G36 with an M4 magwell and short VN style mag) are EVA foam which turns out to be great for LARP airsoft use. Cheap, easy to work with, light, and takes all the sting out of hits while still giving a distinctive noise and feel that has allayed my initial concerns about accidental God Mode. What's interesting is just how much of the initial pattern I had to remove in order to make it usable. Big sections around the arms and neck, and that large side gap isn't accidental, it's to give sufficient movement between the front and back to stop the thing riding up when I bend and twist and shout. You'll see cosplayers with more complete armour including solid side plates, but they're mostly just posing in it, not moving and aiming.
