This: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Dan-Wesson-CO2-Revolver-6-Inch-Silver_A10DGJ.aspx#.U2KFzYm9LTo With these: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/ASG-Dan-Wesson-Power-Down-Shells-6pcs-6mm-Low-Power_A17DGD.aspx#.U2KF4Im9LTo Should drop it to a skirmishable level. Other than that you are going to be hard pressed to find a lower powered metal revolver in the UK as they're not the most popular backup. If you're willing to make a sacrifice by having it plastic bodied you could go for this: http://www.airsoftworld.net/tokyo-marui-m19-6-inch-gas-airsoft-revolver-6-barrel-black.html I have one and it's a cracking weapon for CQB or as a backup, but it has an average fps of 240 on green gas though I would use a lower powered propellant for it as green is a bit too strong for prolonged use. Also available in chrome and shorter barrel lengths (2.5 / 4 / 6 inch). If you really want people to take notice, then get one of these: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_Marushin_Marushin_X_Cartridge_8mm_Raging_Bull_8_375_Inch_HW_Black.htm If you find an in stock one in the uk let me know

  3. Don't worry about it. If paint is there, the rozzers will not care. Other airsofters won't notice and it's obvious what has happened. AFAIK no one has yet been prosecuted (players, certainly not) for any part of the VCRA relating to airsoft

Take care with using SpecialAirsoftSupplies, he has a reputation on here, simply search the numerous threads about his customer service and the number of people who actually had to call on him at his house with some mates to get their money back.

    M4 piston problems

I would give gearbox a total clean up. Reshim The gears if they are OK, replace if not. Replace the piston and head. Set aoe with sorbo.

    M4 piston problems

Setting AOE is a must. The a new piston head might be thicker so it's possible that the gear hits in between the teeth of the piston. If that happens with steel teethed piston then the gears break. The marks on the side of the piston is something I've never seen. It looks like the piston has turned sideways. One more thing. If you put this much grease on the piston head, it will make it's way to the hopup and screw up your accuracy.

I saw that site, then I saw the ton of hate the guy got in his thread on here so I'm not likely to buy from him... No matter how tempting haha Edit: First two threads in question (of a fair few it seems) http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/11072-specialairsoftsupplies/?fromsearch=1 http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/8671-specialairsoftsupplies/?fromsearch=1

    no hop arm in l96

The bucking catches the BB whether an arm is pushing on it or not, they tend to protrude some amount into the barrel by default (mine does anyway). You get some amount of hop up effect without the arm pushing it down although it will be reduced and its probably moving about as the BBs pass. You may find that the hop up produces less consistency as an impact (less accuracy). Hop up units aren't that expensive comparatively and they are so important for range that you should probably go about getting it replaced as soon as you can.

No, it won't do any trouble. Strange though that it spins the BB without the arm.

  15. So what I used last night was Ops drops by McNett - http://www.ukmcpro.co.uk/equipment/eyewear/eyewear-accessories/op-drops-lens-cleaner-anti-fog-detail.html Bolle Raiders - http://www.bolle-safety.com/tactical-spectacles/raider-raiderkit The Raiders might look like glasses but they actually come with a prescription carrier that is also a foam seal around the edge, they are thus effectively lo profile and less disturbing to lower face mask googles, although you can certainly use them just as tactical glasses if you wanted. Played 2 hours in Epsom Bunker, was reasonably cool down there (its still got quite a few puddles after the flooding) and I sweat impressively. I washed them in soap warm water before heading out, then couple of ops drops on each lens and buffed it in. Between games I just cleaned and reapplied and buffed again. Games were each about an hour long.

  16. So I skirmished last night. I can confirm Cat Crap works a real treat and completely stops fog. Bearing in mind I wear a proto switch el as face protection and it gets real sweaty in there it only fogged where i didn't apply the cat crap, I only had to put it on once and it last me all night. I would seriously recommend it.

  17. August may not be such a good idea as there is both the AI500 and NAE14 that month, as well as Brit Tac's Op: Shining Light at Copehill Down (assuming the MOD don't bump that again). Bear in mind also that the MOD not only can but will bump your event regardless of how far along with planning and prep you are, or that you've already taken deposits. You know what it's like, eh? Training for serving soldiers will come first, but expecting that to be subject to what we in the civilian world would call 'organisation' is to fundamentally misunderstand what the word 'logistics' actually means in military parlance...
