Not sure tbh but it's the guard used during the Iranian Embassy operation in 1980 by the SAS. Wasn't the easiest to find but put a wanted add in the classifieds & was offered it by another forum member, took a little bit of fettling to make it work as the back piece was missing. edit... it's called a slim handguard. It's a Galaxy G5K, now sadly hard to get after Luke at Negative wanked himself dry over them then bought a load for himself. Very cheap plastic shell, but that makes them light, and ideal for a sidearm. The internals are indeed fine for the price.
