gavinkempsell Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 (edited) So after dropping an open container of 5000 .2's on my mancave floor do I... 1. count my losses & hoover them up. 2. carefully gather them up, dust them off (i.e. remove any dog hairs & fluff) and use them. 3. cry myself to sleep & stand on them over the next few days till I can be arsed doing 1. or 2. Pseudotectonic Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 wash them with a colander under running water and some soap, otherwise you won't get rid of the dust enough gavinkempsell, Rogerborg and Leo Greer 3

Popular Post gavinkempsell Posted September 13, 2023 Author Popular Post Posted September 13, 2023 (edited) Well, turns out I'm not 'a man' but I am a dick... picked them all up & isolated them in the origional carton then proceded to fill my speed loaders (with fresh bb's) which arrived today and turned one upside down to see how the handle opens out and promptly dumped the fresh bb's on the floor too. Think I'll just go to bed before I fall down the bloody stairs or something. Icing on the cake is, I found the rear sight from a glock & a tiny spring which I suspect it's from the blowback lever on an L85A1 I have getting fixed at the moment. NN lol. Shamal Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Well the dodgy bearings on our washing machine turned out to be a dozen .28's. If I had used bios she would have been non the wiser? Cannonfodder, DanBow, gavinkempsell and 1 other 4
Leo Greer Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 I did the same thing with 5000 BLS .32g. My man, you’re in good company! gavinkempsell 1
MrTea Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 (edited) It's a rite of passage. Was playing a few weeks ago, opened a new 1kg bag of BLS 0.28g BBs to put into my Odin and dropped more than half the bag onto the table & floor ? I think I may invest in a few of those fabric BB bags that have the rigid spouts. Edited September 14, 2023 by MrTea gavinkempsell 1
rj1986 Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Ive done that with 1000 assorted size wood screws. The plastic container is like a lunchbox and has a handle at the top, but the flap doesn't go over it that handle. SO when you pick it up and it's not clipped at the side, it just falls onto the floor. The worse bit is, it's not like you accomplish anything picking them up and sorting them, you're just back to where you've started. gavinkempsell 1

Dan Robinson Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 This is why i keep bottles, so when pouches are better value, I can transfer them in the relative safety of my kitchen. At least the Roomba can go around later looking for any remaining evidence. Shamal 1

SWMBO likes a clean house.... we have a Roomba, two cordless Dysons (one long one short), a mains powered Dyson and a steam mop. The latter of which is replacement number 3 in 4 years despite being filled with soft water. *sigh*. Roomba has more miles on her than your average family car. The problem lies in that I am 6' 7". SWMBO is around 5' 2" so I get to see the bits she misses. Really fucks with her OCD when i pick her up to see my POV and she sees the bits she can't reach ????. Dan Robinson Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 That was my mini pom pom I'll have you know. And not only is it like a dress - it's a bloody heavy dressing gown with special socks (that my feet were too big for; so they had to go to the local Sumo wrestling school to knick a pair of theirs. Fun times. Shamal and Tackle 2
