These come with a large Tamiya connector by default, so I guess it's been converted to mini. Something I should really do with mine, given how many times I've arrived at a skirmish and forgotten the adapter... ?

That.  I don't care if it came with an adaptor for connecting to a 1950s vacuum tube, it's a bizarre choice to change to mini-Tamiya.

It'd make sense ? although a) all my batteries are mini-tamiya b) I don't have any problems with mini-tamiya and c) if I tried it I'd probably end up setting something on fire ?

I'm assuming at that price it is real.

 

I paid £9 for my M88 helmet and added a £5 cover.  Good enough for now, but might get a fast helent down the line.

 

I might consider £800 for a top of the range gun maybe, but not for a helmet.

 

But with airsoft I have found my budget expecations move upwards the longer I play.
