Plenty of sites I have been to have mentioned its not ok and people will be removed. 
 
A few years back a whole team were kicked out of Battle lakes when Zed were running it because of of their guys had a joint in the carpark between games. In fairness it was mentioned in the brief so tough shit really.
 
Most people are idiots anyway, drink and drugs heighten that so I would prefer it not on site.

I get it, I usually use hi caps or drum mags where possible as I cant be arsed to carry loads of mags, it just looks wrong in a dmr, I use smgs so kinda get away with it.

I appreciate but dont like the drum mag though but thats just my opinion.

Like I said elsewhere most sites cant organise a decent days skirmish with 100 players why would we expect a bunch of magazine editors to be able to run a decent game for 400 people in a site they dont run?

If your going to have 400 players you NEED a decent marshal to player ratio. The more the better, you cant cut corners on safety to cut costs, well clearly you can but its not acceptable.
6 would be needed in the safe zone to keep order and things working whilst people are playing, 6 wouldnt cover the parking if there were 200 odd cars.

I mean, people could have ran late, stuck in traffic etc but I get where your coming from.
One of my major annoyances is people arriving late to the cinema. Why would you pay for a movie to arrive late missing some of it.
 
anyway back to Airsoft.
 
My main thing is the amount of sitting time you get at a lot of sites, lunch included. The mall gave you 45 mins and was clear, you miss the game brief your not playing. And had a short turnaround in between games.

late starts piss me off too. I get up early on a Sunday to travel into the countryside to then have to sit around for over an hour as the safety brief isn’t until 10am even through the website said arrive by 8.30. What’s that all about!!

I've done some more buying recently!
 
I bought the AA handguard from @Lexypic and a nice shiney under grip from Amazon.
 
Oh and a printed scope protector from Stay Fresh Shoe / Project Airsoft.
 
So I now have this:


 
My mate has printed me a charging handle but it's in a white / marble effect. So I'll fit that to get me by until I can get a red one....

AirsoftEire do actually have the red charging handle AND the AA 200mm barrel that I want to fit in it. The postage and import fees are about £20. I'm tempted to deploy the rule of "F#@k it" and just order from them.
 
I wanted to run the 200mm so I can reduce the PSI that I use on my HPA tapped drum mag. 
 
But, does anyone think it might up the FPS too much and make it unusable with a green gas filled mag? It's whopping out 310FPS on 0.2's at the moment. Hop is set for 0.25's to just about make it across the longest part of my local CQB site, which is 40m maybe?

I would love to join, based on my many many years of Airsoft experience I feel I have more than enough credentials to join, also based on the fact I have played cod and battlefield, watched blackhawkdown (and read the book the fantasy fiction that was the movie is based on) feel I am over qualified.
therefore I would demand I have your job and a salary befitting someone who has played hide and seek in the woods with a nerf gun, sorry Airsoft a few times. Also I have plenty of hand signals I could show the squad

From the little I've seen of Reddit, it isn't a community, it's a cleared space in the forest floor where peacocks strut and display.
 
On giving advice, I'm actually quite loathe to do it since it would be better for someone like @Sitting Duck to share what he knows versus what worked for me once.  It's a quandary, if people only post when they really, really know what they're talking about, then all forums and groups would be pretty lonely and empty.
 
Then you can go the other way with Reddit and particularly Facebook when someone ask "wut am bests..." and all you get is a vomitous tide of "WUT I JUTS BORT!!!" assertions without context, nuance, evidence or any real experience with the alternatives.
