  1. unfortunatly, no. also, until I get new connectors for my battery, I cant. shouldnt be too long
  2. Wires are correct; this worked once upon a time, and I haven moved those wires
  3. Ok, here the area I think y'all asked to see. If it's not, I'll go take more pics.
  4. Alright then, so I should buy new batteries?...
  5. alright; im in a rather boring full-day biology revision course right now, but ill be home in an hour or so and do that.
  6. yea. When I got the gun it was wired to deans; thats where I got the deans connector from. I used a spare mini i had to rewire it. so ill just order a new one
  7. Ive opened the gearbox before, and know it well enough. Dont know about multimeters. anyway, I need to get a new battery connector. I actually have a deans connector, but no deans batteries. Should I get deans batteries or just a new mini-Tamiya connector?
  8. in that case, anyone have ny idea about testing trigger connections?
  9. Ill look into the motor when I get home. I have messed up wiring twice; once the wire leading to the hutu fried, and recently I was working on it, and must have accidently made a connection between two wires leading to the battery. Melted both the battery connector and the connector on the gun...
  10. Haha. It's my M4, and it needs a bit of work done to it. It needs rewiring, for starters, and it needs either a new motor or trigger connections. I've looked it up, and I'm not really comfortable trying to fix those; fried more wires last night trying to... Luke at The Mall said something about Airsoft Armoury, but I don't have a clue as to what he meant.
  11. Hello, I am wondering where you can get a gun fixed, preferably near Ascot. Thanks
  12. Welcome, can't really help you on your other questions but I'm sure some of the vets on here will know.
  13. Actually, the thing is that I get nothing at all when I pull the trigger. The batteries are charged, and current is flowing (as the HUTU is on), but I get absolutely no movement or sound. I opened it up, reset all the gears, degreased and re-greased everything, and put it aside for the night. I need to re-solder some of the wires, so I'll do that in the morn and then put it all back together. Maybe it will work... Actually, from the sound of it (or lack of), it could be the motor that's the problem...
  14. Haha friz, yea, I've opened it up before, but wasn't sure if I missed anything. Update soon.
  15. Hello, I'm going to try to take apart my M4 and diagnose the issue with its gearbox. The power is working, as my Madbull HUTU is working. It's most likely a stripped gear. Any advice is welcome. First question, which I may figure out before a response is given; How do you remove the gearbox from a G&P M4 body?
  16. Welcome. If you feel you are a big enough star, there are a few channels pages in the Media section (last thread on the bottom) that some people (falcon?) post on. Well done getting your girl into it, nothing like bonding under fire .
  17. Yep, G&G is good, G&P as well. I also like M4s, but mine's a mix of parts from different brands. G&P, Madbull, STAR, and more with accessories from Safariland, Rogers, TruGlo, and others. There a huge amount of variety when it come to airsoft, from cheap China copies to the real stuff.
  18. I have to agree with that; I've got a sizeable toolbox already, and it's got a section dedicated to electrical fixes and airsoft. I MIT go ahead and attempt to take it apart, maybe y'all can diagnose the issue and point me in the direction of the right parts.
  19. I got it second-hand from BigAl, and it had issues pretty fast. It's probably just a stripped gear, but I'm a complete noob at AEG gearboxes. I could hardly figure out my P90's gearbox, and those are supposed to be quite easy. Anyway, it's fine because Al offered to reimburse me for it; so I'm gonna drop it off with Luke at The Mall this Sunday and see what he thinks.
  20. I like the WE Glock; one thing you could do is get a TM, and then buy WE mags for it; I know some people on here have. WE guns are usually clones of TM guns, so the mags should fit. But then again, most TM pistols don't have metal slides, which I like on my WE G17.
  21. Well, once my M4 is back in action I will be spreading out; right now I've only got SMGs, MPs, and pistols.
  22. Also, radios are something I will look into after the summer if I'm still here. Mods, I meant to post this in the General Questions section, not the General Discussion. Can y'all move it?
