  1. yea, have that one in my cart already, but wasnt sure if it would fit me well... but ill go ahead and get it
  2. Hello, I guess thi is the correct thread for this... I was looking at getting an ugl for my M4, and was looking at the sites aformentioned in a previus comment, as they look to be a ton cheaper. However, I have a couple of questions; First off, I am not UKARA registered, just havent had time to do the games with all my IB stuff going on right now. So I will be getting registered hopefully in May, after thats all over. So, do you need a UKARA number to get ugls? I assume you do, but am unsure as some may consider it an attachment. It would go onto my two tone G&G Raider. Secondly, as the sites listed above seem to be outside the UK, are customs gonna freak out? I know some people on this site said some of the asia sites are not actually in asia, and as such, dont care. So far I have only bought from in the UK, so I have no idea on this. Any help? Thanks, Spaz

I have a section of my toolbox I bring to games. Also, remember to ask around. Last time I was at the Mall, I spent about 1/2 the time trying to fix my G17,'and some guy let me borrow his screwdrivers. Also, I forgot my gopro screw, and another guy let me borrow one of his spares. People are generally nice...

  4. OK, so what did I just buy... just spent just over £100 on a vsr rail for my W700 bolt action rifle, a new mag for my WE P226 GBB, a rubber knife for teh lulz at The Mall, a TM upgrade spring for my WE G17 GBB to give it some more kick, some new eyewear, as I dont like my one piece mask, a lower face gaurd that doesnt work well at all... didnt realise that it is meant to be worn with earpro i think, which i dont have... Also got a scope off one of this site's parts sales, and am planning to buy a dynatex timed gernade and some caps for it, as well as a different lower mesh mask... Anyone know a good mesh lower face mask in black that works with smaller mesh goggles?
  5. Sure sounds like it... Edit. Yikes, your hop rubber looks almost gone from that pic...
  6. My hodgepodge load out and guns. In the top left I've got my FAST helmet, my old mask (new one coming soon?... I hope), Rogers Shooting School shirt, tan Army Surplus pants, and Rogers gloves. I also use the tan MOLLE pack to transport stuff, and use a tan MOLLE vest as you can see, with 2 double M4 magazine pouches and a singular P90 pouch. Ghillie suit in the top right, in its bag. W700 rifle in digital duct tape below that, as well as some green gas. G&G CM16 Raider GBB in two tone, with Safariland's Grippod attached, as well as their Superstoc. I have four magazines for it; two are mounted in a Wilson Combat dual mag holder. Next up is my ACM P90 AEG with an Aimpoint air rifle sight, Safariland single point sling that I custom installed, Safariland torch, B&T silencer/tracer unit, and a green laser sight, along with a mid cap and a high cap mag. Then I have my newest gun, my ACM MP40 AEG with only one mag. Moving over, I have my WE SIG P226 GBB with two magazines (third is on its way) and a Safariland Kydex ALS holster. Below that is my WE G17 GBB with Safariland Glock grips and a custom Tridium foresight, two normal magazines and one high cap magazine, all in a Sadarilabd Kydex ALS holster specially made by Bill Rogers, as normal Safariland holsters didn't fit the WE G17 at that time. A Safariland rail light for pistols is by those as well. In terms of ammo I use Valster BBs weighing in at .20g. I have my "Mall" container elsewhere that has a mixture of 1-5 tracer-normal pellets for realistic tracer fire as well. A portable multi-headed screwdriver set is also by the airsoft pellets. So... What do yall think? ( keep in mind I've been at this at a higher level for less than a year...)
  7. Hello all, I was wondering if anyone here was planning on attending the Feb 22 game at The Mall, in Reading. I will be there, as well as a few others, and I have seen some people mention the date, but am unsure if anyone is going to go. Also, I think we should all get AFUK patches to ID ourselves
  8. Alright then, I see you went with the popular G&G M4 option, which is fine. What is your issue with it, and what would you like to get? If sites are refusing to sell whatever it is to you, then it's probably because you don't have a UKARA registration (just speculating). You need to be registered into the UKARA database in order to purchase RIFs. Is this the case?
  9. OK, guys, here is some info, Safariland is the best, and thats not only my opinion. To B's point, yes they are expensive, but that is due to all their ALS holsters being made for the military. However, Safariland's newest holster that was revealed at Shot 2015 is different. It doesnt use the standard ALS Sysem, but uses a trigger gaurd lock system. Also, one of its biggest selling points is that it is made to fit all but two modern handguns, SIG's new 320 and one other. I have been personally assured that it will fit all of my airsoft pistols that have moderatly accurate trigger gaurds. Also, as this is made for the public, it only will cost around $55, quite a bit less than other holsters of similar quality. Also, Bill Rogers himself said he would be willing to get into the Airsoft business, and as such we are keeping in touch. He is visiting in mid April, and is planning to bring over several of these 578s for me to use as demos, so I will be demoing them at The Mall around that time. Also, with enough support, I may be able to set up a Safariland and HolsterOps distributer here in the UK with him
  10. Hello, and welcome. Unfortunatky cant help you with your club question...
  11. True... But another issue with that exact date is that is is right in the middle of my IB Mock exams... But will defiantly keep my eye out, thanks
  12. Yea, I've been down by Combat South when I went to see Bovington Tank Meuseum. Unfortunately, as I don't drive, I am limited to my travels, and the trains to Reading are already a push...
  13. Hello all, I am Spaz. Here's a little bit about me. I am 18 years old, born in the States, but have lived and been across the world. I am a huge WWII nerd, specialising on tanks and planes, as well as ships. In terms of Airsoft, I first played Airsoft in a friend's backyard in Tennessee when I was 11. I bought my first airsoft gun while I lived in Singapore, and it was crap. But since airsoft and RIFs are illegal in SG, I took what I could get and ran around in my complex's basement playing tag with it. It was a little cheap springer pistol, and shot around 150 FPS. When I moved to the UK, a friend of mine got me back into airsoft with his B500 from JBBG. I bought a WELL P90, and we had some backyard fun. I bought the B500 off of him when he moved, and started hosting games with local kids and people from my school. After I saved up enough, I bought my first entry level gun as a present to myself around 8 months ago. It's a G&G GBB CM16 Raider. I also bought a WE P226 GBB a bit before that. Recently, I acquired a ACM AEG P90 from a member of this site, and around a week ago got myself an ACM AEG MP40 from here as well. Some people might say I am kind of sponsored when it comes to Airsoft... Some people on this forum know about Safariland and Holster Ops, and they send me kit and such from time to time. In fact, I know Bill Rogers, the guy who invented the Kydex Holster and the ALS Holster. He also sent me a WE G17 GBB that he installed a high-vis tiridium front sight on. I have been to The Mall twice, and as the temperatures warm up, may get to some other sites as well. although I have been around the site for about a month now, giving advice on whatever I could, I figured I'd do an info post about me here as well... *Note I am sure I am going to get a ton of hate for getting guns off of JBBG, I know they suck, but I haven't ever had any issues with them; the B500 I have is completely stock and still works after almost 3 years. I don't buy from them nowadays though...
  14. Hey man, if you can make it to The Mall's Sunday game on the 22nd, ou can test out my P90 at their range. Also, the rental guns are all G36s, so you could test both out there. Also, it is warm enough inside for GBBs.
  15. I just realised The Mall doesn't have any games on the 19th... So I guess I will defiantly going on Sunday the 22nd, if anyone wishes to join me.
  16. Anyone know where you can get these?
  17. Wow, that's quite a large amount of information; thank you. I will look into it, and for your information, I do speak some mandarin due to my years in Singapore.
  18. Hello, I have been moving up the ladder in the world of Airsoft, and I would like to look at getting a pair of headsets for me and my mate to use at my local CQB site, The Mall. However, U have absolutely no idea on what to get, what the costs would be like, or laws towards radios (I know there have been some issues with them). Any and all advice welcome. Thanks, Spaz
  19. Quite possibly . I have a friend who's a paramedic who may be with me, but another person is always welcome
  20. You said Reading; one of my favourite sites is there; The Mall. It's an indoor CQB site, so a FPS of under 330 is needed, but the dark basements and close quarters allow for a version of airsoft I haven't found anywhere else. I plan to go to either their Thursday night game on the 19th of February or the 22 for their Sunday day game.
  21. You can easil mount your GoPro onto a fast helmet by attaching one of the onetimestick mounts on the NVG mount area. Thats where i put mine, and have recorded 2 days of airsoft, and one of paintball. I holds it well enough; i wacked my pretty badly in a branch, and it stayed on the helmet. the lens e of the camera may be strong enough, but the case's lense definatly is... i was recording some paintball, and took one to the lense, didnt do anything; not ever change the angle it was mounted at. Very strong piece of equiptment. my grandfather sht ne with an air rifle as well to test it
  22. Yeap, that should be all you need. The TM looks identical on the inside to the WE. One thing, there are important internal parts on that gas unit, make sure you transfer them over.
