  1. I just got a newsletter that Gunfire offers two-toning for £4 from now on. http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152211293-Painting-Servico-de-pintura-make-the-airsoft-gun-meet-your-local-law-requirements.html
  2. Rewire it to deans if you get the chance. Tamiyas are crap. You loose too much juice with them. Adding more of them is not good.
  3. What do you mean? The fixed one is here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1420730 I don't have an aug but that part should work from the original design. A mate of mine had it printed for himself. And I tried the m4 part, that works.
  4. And that "better gun" will shoot exactly the same. Then you will need the aforementioned upgrades. Not that I would do that. Put a decent hopup bucking in, and put a spacer between the body and the hopup and you will shoot as good as anyone with those upgrades. But first and foremost, use heavy and good quality BBs. 0.28g is what you need.
  5. It's an AEP, not an AEG. There are no compatible parts. There exist some upgrade parts to aeps, but those doesn't give it a notable FPS increase. The 220-ish fps is not enough to serve as a primary gun. A few times I organized games for secondaries/springers only. AEPs were not in par with GBBs, shotguns, low power bolties. They can shoot quite far and they can shoot full auto but most of the time they hit so weak that it was unnoticed and the wind affected it too much. They are good as secondary for short distances and use it in full auto.
  6. Yes, still on. They ban users temporarily. Maybe they ban pages temporarily too.
  7. Why do you need a suppressor? It won't make the gun silent. Those make the gun longer, so harder maneuver. But they look cool. Unless it's one of those short ones that wouldn't even work on a pistol. Get ideas from real steel photos. But what does help a lot? A red dot, a 1 point sling, mid-caps (+ mag pouches), Lipo + charger. If you play CQB, then a torch and a tracer unit. I personally don't like the standard M4 grip, so I would switch that to a more ergonomic one. Oh, almost forgot. At least 0.28g good quality BBs. Okay, if you spray and pray, then 0.25. Edit: I checked that your gun has the tango down grip. That's a good one, keep that.
  8. Maybe to serve as a much needed foregrip.
  9. I have printed flash hiders with 14 ccw threads on my prusa i3. The only complication is that you have to adjust to your printer and slicer. What do you need exactly? Probably I can help.
  10. If you are looking for a good community, then go to airsoft events and check the forums. But. Avoid. Airsofters. On. Facebook. Welcome, have fun. You certainly will.
  11. Cheers. What games were there? Were you confined to one part of the field or could you plan your route?
  12. I can only think that they are not allowed to avoid confusion. Maybe they had problems with ppl stating their gun is dmr but spammed the trigger so fast that it was just like an automatic one. There is an even worse rule at blue streak where any bolt action gun has 30m MED. I have one of mine sniper rifles under 350fps to be able to have close shots but there I would use my 500fps rifle. And they actually allow 550fps for bolties. How is that for safety?
  13. Close to me too. I will definitely pay a visit one day.
  14. The average. The site is small for my taste but not bad.
  15. It can't. Stl are mesh formats. It has 3d points and triangles to define the shape. CAD formats are different and can't be created from meshes. For example you create an arch instead of a sharp corner, CAD knows it's an arch and you can change the radius later or just delete the arch and it will give you the sharp corner. In a mesh an arch is just a series of lines, the software doesn't know about any radiuses, etc. CAD software can export to stl meshes. They then approximate the object with 3d points and triangles. You can manipulate meshes in sketchup or meshmixer for example. Many CADs can import meshes and display them in 3d but they can't modify them with their usual tools. Then you can design your cad object using the mesh as reference.
  16. If you go to a skirmish you will find the people you can play in a group. Yes there are always some who are very slow to advance, so you will be fine. I myself like to go alone (and I always lose my teammates in the first contact) but that way it's way harder to learn how to play. Stick with people and watch what they are doing.
  17. Quick googling gave me this: http://armageddonpaintballsupplies.com/product/marker-parts-v-tac-sw-1-straight-offset-sight-rail/
  18. Here you'll find the cross section too. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:620955 That's the original. My fixed version is this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1420730 You can put quite sharp curves in the BB path. Check a 30bb shotgun shell for example. As long as the curve is smooth, you're fine.
  19. I printed this for a fellow airsofter on arnies. Aug-M4 mag adapter from thingiverse, but had to be fixed.
  20. Not likely. Probably you just didn't put it back together correctly.
  21. I'm a member of an other forum where they have a minimum post requirement for sales posts. The number of spam posts is high since the introduction of that rule.
  22. But heavier BB gets there faster too. Edit: jcheeseright ninja'd me If the gun can't lift heavy bbs, try softer nub before changing the bucking. My sub 350 boltie could only lift 0.28 barely until I changed the nub to a piece of silicone. Now it can lift 0.43 without changing anything else. 0.43 was the heaviest BB I have.
